I honestly think Ana has some of the greatest dynamic control / expression in music today... not even just guitarists, but music as a whole. The depth of detail and variety of emotions she puts in her music is just unbelievable. She creates colors and waves in passages that I didn't even know could be there, and it feels so natural compelling. Always exciting, always so expressive. Wow wow wow.

Ana, I have been playing guitar professionally for 50 years, and you play absolutely beautiful. A lot of guitarists can play technically correct, but have no soul. You have both. It’s a true pleasure listening to you. Thank you for your performance
Many great guitarists are out there on You Tube, and they provide wonderful performances....but their performances are filmed in venues that are specially arranged and pre-recorded videos, not in front of audiences, not live, and with sophisticated editing that allows them to play many takes that are fused together so skillfully that one cannot tell its a technically assembled performance. Nothing taken away from them, they are brilliant master guitarists...Ryzhkova, Henderson, Jones, Lopes, and many others. What sets Ms. Vidovic apart, is that she is not afraid to share live performances, with the incredibly personal and immediate nuances that cannot be enhanced by video editing technology. Her performances not only are brilliant, but honest and real. This concert, like so many of her posts, gives us an opportunity to feel like we are there, live, feeling every moment, experiencing every note as it actually happens. So beautiful.
Hi Tom. I can hear the guitar falling a little outta tune sometimes too. I doubt many guitarists would allow that to be shared. Like you said shes honest. Shes a great player
I cannot imagine anyone playing this first Cello Suite better on guitar than Ana Vidovic. Her interpretation is as if she plays this music in rythm with Bach´s breathing. It is a total understanding of his work coming out from her guitar.
This young lady is such an extraordinary musician, who never gives the impression that she's doing anything difficult. So impressive. I hope I have the opportunity to actually attend one of her performances one day.
I believe what makes Ana Vidovics Bach so capturing is her way of playing Bach. His so called unnoted notes, namely the legatos, the crescendos, or what we may call them. It is all about rythm. When it is there, or when it is not. When Ana plays Bach the rythm is her companion all the time, and so I rely on her music completely. Never will it fail. If you want to call it "pulse" instead of "rythm" it is okey with me. Pulse is nearer the heart. And heart is what it is about.
I suffer from anxiety every night When i’m about to sleep. Unwanted thoughts keeps on entering my head and minutes later i suddenly just can’t breathe. It’s the feeling in your chest that i hate the most and then you want to cry but you can’t. You just hug yourself and pray and hope it’ll be over soon.

Ms. Ana Vidovic had introduced me to the magnificence of classical guitar! I had heard many classical guitarists but no one had captured my utmost interest in the clearness, nuances, style, tone and undertone of the way she produces sound on her classical guitar with such commanding control. She's a master! All a class by herself. I am not a trained musician but my ears have their natural inclination to recognize sounds as it is produced and contemplated. She's a great artist in the classical guitar medium, and I am very happy to hear what she's conveying with the sound of pure clarity and simplicity.

I was traveling in Dubrovnik, Croatia last week and had the opportunity to hear Ana Vidovic play with the Zagreb Quartet. It was an amazing performance and she performed the 'Recuerdos de la Alhambra' by Francisco Tárrega as an encore. She was flawless.

Isn´t this like heaven? As if we have earned a place in heaven, and now can enjoy whatever there is, guitar playing for example. Anas playing in this Bach Cello-suite no 1 is one of the reasons I long for heaven. I hope to meet her there, but for sure I understand that she is far to young! She belongs to earth, where she can play this wonderful music for young people. This I wrote without concern about age and other things, but it is not untrue.
Je ne pensais pas que l'on pouvait faire cela avec une guitare. C'est un prodige de virtuosité, d'émotion subtile, d'intelligence... Que c'est beau ! Merci!
Somehow I have come to be in love with Ana Vidovics playing in this Bach first Cello Suite. Dont ask me how it happened. Specially the first movement, Prelude, is something that I cannot stop listening to, the crescendo in the end, and the way to this crescendo. Ana is building a cathedral in this movement, a huge cathedral, and Bach has the drawings, as always. Together they make this Cello Suite, played on guitar, to be an unforgettable piece of music.
The way she progresses through the pieces is mesmerizing. Not to mention she has the technical skills of an elite classical guitar player (obviously), but on top of that, her sensitivity creates extraordinary performances.
I resemble that remark! Well somewhat, as I have been a community mental health nurse over the last 35 years, with one 5 year stint in the middle years on a locked 28 bed unit. To see and hear a live performance by Ana would truly be one of the great moments of my life. -- Włodzimierz
To cough is human. To cough at the end of a challenging piece is the result of a prolonged, superhuman effort to avoid coughing in the middle of the challenging piece. Thank you, sir.
Too bad the 'superhuman effort' couldn't be sustained 7 seconds longer so that she could have finished it as she intended (hence the smirk). See 42:18 for a reference as to the importance of time and timing in music...
I am not a classical music fan by any stretch but I find this young lady's playing extremely enchanting and relaxing. What dedication it must take to learn those pieces.
As before... TH-cam playing a random sequence of classical guitarists while I work on other tabs... and then Ana's plays... I unmistakably hear her unmatched emotion, ease of play, and absolute perfection. Ana, you are amazing! Sicca Guitars, and Ana Vidovic: THANK YOU.
Anna has got to be one of the best classical guitarists in the world today. Perhaps one day she will come to Maine, once we are allowed out in public again.
When Paco died, guitar-lovers mourned, but Ana, you've more than filled that gap! If I had long enough fingers to play guitar, I would want to play like you! (even a child's guitar is impossible for me). To listen to you non-stop, I'm finally persuaded to pay you-tube the monthly fee to listen while performing other computer tasks. THANK YOU!
Julian Bream is THE Classical Guitarist. Sadly he died in on,y last month, August this year, 2021. Just listen to his 2 CDs which I’ve just bought to replace his same cassette tape - “The Ultimate Julian Bream”. I’m positive Ana has followed in his footsteps playing the same kind of guitar music.

Ana Vidovic is just the right person to play this Bach Cello Suite nr 1 on guitar. Who else can make this transformation so natural? No one. Thats why I love her playing so much. Bach on guitar is not a bad idea at all. Ana Vidovic proves it.
Ms. Vidovic is SO emotionally expressive! Her renditions of pieces like Giuliani's Grande Overture or (especially) Agustín Barrios Mangoré's La Catedral, are haunting. Listening to others play these pieces they sound mechanical & drab by comparison.
00:00 Cello Suite No 1 BWV 1007 by Johann Sebastian Bach 0:11 Prelude 2:57 Allemande 7:04 Courante 09:35 Sarabande 12:26 Menuet I / II 15:04 Gigue 16:47 Grande Ouverture Op. 61 by Mauro Giuliani 25:16 Sonata in A major K 322 by Domenico Scarlatti 28:22 Sonata in E major K 380 by Domenico Scarlatti 33:49 Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Francisco Tárrega 38:00 Coughing by an anonymous fan in the public 38:11 La Catedral by Agustín Barrios Mangoré 45:39 Una Limosna Por el Amor de Dios by Agustin Barrios Mangoré 49:35 Introduction and Variations on a Theme by Mozart Op 9 by Fernando Sor 58:09 Asturias by Isaac Albéniz
In the right perspective, a front image, I consider Ana Vidovic´s playing on guitar in Bach´s first Cello-suite to be the best uptaking ever for instruments not being a Cello. That means a huge tribute for her, and I really love her playing. Her playing is so consistent with always a poetic touch on top that I go completely insane about this. Thank you Ana, for this insaneness.
She's a fantastic guitarist and musician... Her rendition of Recuerdos de la Alhambra and Asturias is simply on point, not only that, the emotions she expresses through her music also makes it an absolute pleasure to listen to her... There are few musicians that I have heard that possesses her grace and fluidity... Bravo Ana!!! ...and thank you for the music...💜

One of the most beautiful things ever heard or seen in this sad world.
this is one the greatest music lessons i've ever witnessed
I play this beautiful music video a lot while I'm working -- thank you so much!
Me too!
I hope she will play one of my pieces again, I'm a fan.
Are you the real j.s.b ?

Together they make this Cello Suite, played on guitar, to be an unforgettable piece of music.
there is just something special to her playing. i can feel the music more than just hear it. her musicality is superb compared to other guitarists.
She is my favourite guitarist ever. Can't wait!
minha tambem
Divine playing ! So pure, without distortions and exhibitionism. Guitar artistry at the highest level.
The way she progresses through the pieces is mesmerizing.
Not to mention she has the technical skills of an elite classical guitar player (obviously), but on top of that, her sensitivity creates extraordinary performances.
Thank you Ana, for making our world a better place with your musical contributions. Luis
Every morning I sip a cup of coffee and listen to your music, it's all wonderful ❤
I d love so much to see her live... She has delighted my Sunday.. After a rough day at work (and I work at psychiatric hospital!!)
Thanks miss Vidovic
I resemble that remark! Well somewhat, as I have been a community mental health nurse over the last 35 years, with one 5 year stint in the middle years on a locked 28 bed unit.
To see and hear a live performance by Ana would truly be one of the great moments of my life. -- Włodzimierz
To cough is human. To cough at the end of a challenging piece is the result of a prolonged, superhuman effort to avoid coughing in the middle of the challenging piece. Thank you, sir.
What I was thinking precisely!!! My gratitude for his efforts.
38:00 Coughing by an anonymous fan in the public
It' a reference to another video with a very loud cough in it.
Too bad the 'superhuman effort' couldn't be sustained 7 seconds longer so that she could have finished it as she intended (hence the smirk). See 42:18 for a reference as to the importance of time and timing in music...
There is a conspiracy theory: A man travels from concert to concert to strike with his coughing. The infamous serial cougher.
I am not a classical music fan by any stretch but I find this young lady's playing extremely enchanting and relaxing. What dedication it must take to learn those pieces.
She is a prime example of why Classical Music has lasted for so many centuries.
I wonder what Segovia would have thought of this beautiful woman, flawlessly playing some of his favorite pieces. His heart might have exploded...
The one true queen of classical guitar. Love and respect from the bottom of my heart.
Ana, you give us a harmony which arrive directly to our soul. We can see your effort for this excellent gift you offer us. Thank you. Hope to listen you here in Greece a sweat evening at spring or Automn time.
HERRLICHE MUSIK IN EINE GROßARTIGE INTERPRETATION. PERFEKTION IN ALLE HINSICHTEN. UNNEREICHBAR SCHÖN. GRATULIERE. EINE DER BESTEN GITTARISTINEN DER WELT.
So delicate in her delivery, bordering on poetry.

Very good ANA VIDOVIC RECITAL I LIKE VERY MUCH
Thank you so much. For me, a person who grew up to the sound of guitar and mandolin music, Ana Vidovic performance is simply delightful - it brings back pleasant memories of the family idyll of my home.
I am so happy she has such a relationship with her beautiful guitar. I feel so blessed to hear this music.
I cannot believe that anyone can play bett r r than Ana..I was taught in John Williams studio and have heard Segovia in concert. Ana is simply the best ever. Thank you Ana you are a gift to humanity.
Ana, your virtuosity and interpretations, your superb technique ... they surpass Segovia at his greatest. The pre-eminent guitarist of our time!
Nie mogé się doczekać! Włodzimierz …
I can't stop listening to this.
Beautiful! I can't stop listening.
She is magical. I think I've watched the full body of her work on TH-cam. Grateful for her generosity, and also to Siccas for making this possible.
38:01 oh yeah! my favorite piece of the entire concert. Magnificent interpretation!
So effortless & yet so moving and amazing. Love this woman's playing.
Ana Vidovic is just the right person to play this Bach Cello Suite nr 1 on guitar. Who else can make this transformation so natural? No one. Thats why I love her playing so much. Bach on guitar is not a bad idea at all. Ana Vidovic proves it.
Awesome.... 💖have a nice weekend BIG LIKE 👍 👍
That's wonderful. Unreal and supernatural. One can imagine the amount of work that all this represents. Thank you Madam...
Right now with everything that is going on in this world, we can all use a little hideout to go to and clear our minds. This is the perfect place.
Ms. Vidovic is SO emotionally expressive! Her renditions of pieces like Giuliani's Grande Overture or (especially) Agustín Barrios Mangoré's La Catedral, are haunting. Listening to others play these pieces they sound mechanical & drab by comparison.
Wow, she is incredible. Love the emotion she puts into these classics. Bravo!
This is the best I’ve heard. Thank you lovely Ana.
