Long known as the Beethoven of the classical guitar, Sor's music is to be aspired to. Here, Ms Vidovic not only aspires, but executes flawlessy. This is her hallmark. flawless interpretation. She is by far the greatest around today.
I sometimes forget that Sor wrote pieces like this, I’m so used to seeing his name by studies and beginner pieces that the fact that he wrote on this level slips my mind, Ana does such a great job bringing these pieces to life
EVERYTHING about that is impressive. Wonderful, astonishing, mind-blowing. This is a pretty good example of natural talent, impeccable training and sheer determination.
Take a minute to think from this fab interpretation, what sor would have been like. It's my 2nd year of playing and have decided to give the full year to sor's studies and exercises opus. So much to offer, so much to learn, no matter what level you are. Thanks Ana and Siccas, for the video.
Ana Vidovic, Is my favorite Classical Guitarist. I love her flawless presentations in everything she performs, And she is very beautiful also making me love her even more as a great entertainer.
There is a lot of people who can play a guitar, make some noices with it, but give it life, put all emotions on the instrument, make it real music is a really big challenge, and i have no doubt that she does that like nobody else. I almost cry.
I don't know if there's such a thing as "the definitive performance" of this work but this seems to be about as close as we're likely to get. In the last 10 years,Ana Vidovic has become one of the greatest guitarists to ever live...her guitar sings!
A simply amazing performance. Ana's talent and dedication to guitar playing are beyond comprehension. One can only hope she continues to enjoy playing guitar as much as I (for one ) enjoy listening to her!
Ana, again, amazing! I can't believe how effortlessly it looks like you're playing. I'm amazed at how your right hand seems so relaxed but then when I concentrate on what you're doing I'm blown away. I heard her play when she came to Calgary several years ago. A fantastic performer with a great future. I wish there were venues for classical guitar concerts.

Listen to a few other guitar players and then listen to Ana again. Then decide for yourself, which one impresses you the most. I'd say that Ana stands head and shoulders above the rest.

I was watching DanDanDan when this came out and as a guitarist I recognised jajaja I was like: OMG GUITAR PIECES IN ANIME!!! and I enjoyed more the episode jajaja And of course master Vidovic it's a great and superb guitarrist!!
This is generally a show piece..spectacular. Not so with Ana here. It's all about artistic approach. She certainly has the chops to deal with this however she'd like. If she chose to tear the house down, that's what we'd get. She's a great artist.
We may wonder if Ana Vidovic ever becomes bored with excessive praise? Let's hope not; she deserves every word of it. Especially agree with Mr. Uncjim, that she has the superior talent to show restraint & full artistry; no need to show off, nothing superficial. She also deserves respect for the taste she shows in bearing her personal beauty with the same restraint. There need be nothing superficial about integrating visual harmony & beauty with our experience of music, playing or listening. It is a true added dimension.
wenig Vibrato, wenig ritardandi, zügige Übergänge, kontrollierte rubati gepaart mit vielen Klangfarbnuancen und dynamisch weiten Ranges, all das macht Ana's Interpretationen durchsichtig und spannend und erfrischend neu. Eine wirklich großartige Musikerin, wie man sie mit der Guitarre nur sehr selten antrifft. Da muss man schon an die alten Meister wie Segovia, Bream und einige wenige Andere zurückdenken.

Its interesting to note that Mozart was known all over Europe in his time. The proof is this beautiful piece made by the spaniard Fernando Sor 🎶🎶🎶 as always the performance of Ana is perfect.
