Honestly when you’re 6’3 and look like young Steve Jobs + Ashton Kutcher, it’s not difficult to be good at sales lol. People will tend to give you whatever you want. Now, show me a fat, bald, short guy who still sold $10 million last year- THAT guy I’ll listen to!
I love how you actually enlighten your viewers on how to improve first impressions with concrete examples and evidence, instead of beating around the bush and avoiding the subject directly.
You have provided me with a new outlook on life. I started waking up at 5 a.m. to work out, getting in the office at 7 a.m. before everyone else and working with enthusiasm and energy. The way people treat me has changed dramatically. People say I am killing it at work now. It is amazing how much more respect you can receive and how much more respectful you are to others when you respect yourself. You are one of my heroes.
Ryan, I love and hate you at the same time... I’m a real estate agent in Marbella, Spain and ever since I found your channel, I’ve been binging your content from morning to evening. So much so that I’m not able to sleep when I go to bed because I am so EXCITED to implement all the golden nuggets you shoot at us during these vlogs!! Props to the amazing editing and props to Yuri, that man is a cool ass driver. Keep rocking it!
As someone who has LOVED Real Estate and who has studied it her whole life (seriously, from the age of like 7 I was watching the "homes plus channel" on channel 4, which was just an onslaught of local real estate listings, and absolutely LOVING IT) and who is now studying to get my Real Estate license, I resonate so much with the way you do business (know, like, trust) so authentically and building your brand so authentically WELL. I would love to see more day to day meetings with clients and potential clients and seeing your interactions with them, the conversations you have and how YOU "Sell It Like Serhant" I know we see it on MDLNY but to see it uncut and raw without the element of drama (even though we all love it), would be AWESOME!
I’ve been in the luxury car business for 22yrs and i always set them down and talk bout them and their lives before we ever talk about cars.building a relationship is more important to me than selling them a car. I basically sell just from referrals now than catching walk in traffic. First impression is everything...
Everything you said on the show is so true. I just found out your channel on yt, I'm 16 and we cut cable a long time ago, and all I gotta say, your vids are already impressing me and I'm probably gonna watch em all. And I live in NY which makes it even better.
It never fails to shock me how poorly people dress. I am a college student and in college you make so many first impressions, especially with employers and I think it's important to dress well. Plus when I started dressing well it also helps with confidence, I feel confident when I am in a nice suit.
Translation: “my first impression was he’s 6’3 and looks like the Nordic version of Ashton Kutcher or Steve Jobs”. Yeah he’s a great looking guy, but could we not be so SHAAALLOW please? K thanks
Show me a fat, bald, 5’2 guy who looks like George Costanza, who still manages to sell $10 million in real estate… now THAT guy I’ll listen to! Because his techniques, personality, and methods will be PERFECT. This guy Ryan will succeed based on his looks alone
You’ve helped me so much to not only become a better sales person but to really come out of my shell. I’ve always been really shy to talk to people. I’ve actually reached goals I never thought I would. These vlogs are super helpful. Thanks so much!
You might have sleep phase disorder. Wolfs are not early birds. Don’t get the worms… kill the birds. Network with other agents and business owners in the evenings. And expand that way. Crush it. There’s always a way. :) social media marketing knows no timelines for instance.
I know this video is several weeks old already so you probably won't see this, but I just wanted to thank you for these videos as they have a lot of value -- no matter what you seek to achieve. It's always heartening to see someone succeed who has great ethics and deserves it. I really look forward to your future videos and also want to say that I think that having these themes really adds a lot to them
This one is full of valuable content. I love the book in a black box sent to the new contact, what Dan Kennedy calls “shock and awe”. Finding ways to distinguish yourself from all of the others in one’s profession that are down the block from you is, in my experience, the biggest challenge in business.
Dude he's the GOAT! If you have anything to do with or any interest in real estate, you should be watching million dollar listing. He's one of the top producing there.
I’m a now a forever fan! You make it real, interesting and relevant all at the same time. Wow, refreshing and inspiring. So sharing with my entire office.
I don’t even work in sales (I work in health care) but the advice you were giving to the podcast much so much to me. It’s about the relationship not what you’re trying to accomplish. Love the vlogs!
I can’t stay away from your vlogs. I’m getting into real estate, scares me so much but thanks to your vlogs I can see ways of making it fun for me and the people that will be a part of it. It’s a lifestyle.
16:01 Ryan Like Ive said before in MDL the producers made you out to be the bad guy. In sell it like Serhant your true personality is what connects with the people struggling with sales and your audience....."LONGER VLOGS ARE BETTER!!!!!!"
Your vlog is so unique... I’m just glad you’re not another Casey Nistat wanna be vlogger. Whoever is editing you videos, give him/ her a bonus for not copying Casey’s style.
Great vlog Ryan! So the main takeaways that I took into my notebook this time are: (I think that one is from the previous vlog but I'll write it anyway) 1. Publicity is your reputation and reputation is your currency. 2. Selling is not about the product, selling is about the relationshipand creating the connection with somebody. 3. If the first impression sucks, that first impression is synonyms with the last impression. 4. You have to have short term speed and long term patience. You wake up everyday, you need to GO GO GO GO GO!!! You need to beat everybody to the punch (achieve something before someone else is able to) if you wanna be succesful! So many people complain like "Oh, that's gonna take too long, I don't wanna do this, I don't wanna do that" and they want everything handad out to them, they want everything to be put right in front of them because they don't have the patience to build the career or to take the time to study, to learn and to invest back into themselvs but they want want things to be quick and at the same time they show up at work and they are not quick with anything, it takes them 24 hours to respond to an email, it takes them half a day to call somebody back because they have short term patience and a desease that everything long term should happen with speed, and that's not the way life is.
I’ve been in real estate in Texas a year May 15th. I took a lot of what you did in MDLNY into consideration, “Sell It Like Serhant” gave awesome tips to incorporate into my game, but these vlogs though!! My man, you’re helping people everywhere and it’s dope that vets like you open up and give rooks gems every week!!!
I've honestly never been into watching vlogs... Until yours. I've watched people's vlogs in the past, but I'd find myself skipping through them, moving past B roll to just hear what they have to say and be done. I genuinely enjoy your vlogs. I just discovered you the other day, and I can't even remember how many I've watched so far. You seem to consistently have a great energy to you. You're a personality to truly look up to. And, the way you and your team do your vlogs is incredible. Thank you, Ryan.
Hey dude! I think you're absolutely right saying first impression's last. You remind me of Harvey in the Suits series haha. I've been willing to be a real estate agent my whole life. Do you have any tips on what studies to do or whatever I could or should do? God bless bro, keep it up. You da best in the whole YT vlogging game. People my age should watch guys like you instead of wasting time on some bs vids
These vlogs are great! You're giving out a lot of useful business and life advice as well as insight to a whole other side of society lives haha. The only feedback I could give as a viewer would be to get a camera stabilizer to prevent the shaking. I almost got motion sickness at the beginning of the video lol.
Ryan is on point. Most people don’t appreciate the material he is giving away for free! Simple concepts become overlooked because they are simple; however, simple is successful!
Longer vlogs ARE BETTER!! Ryan I sell insurance B2B over the phone at one of Swedens top insurance company. First impressions when someone picks up the phone either make the call or kills it. What’s your advice on that? I can never meet the client face to face. All I have is the phone and emails. Btw I love the new show. It shows a very different side of you 🙏🏼
Longer blogs are better.. I'm truly loving your blogs their so upbeat and positive, your constantly just giving advice on how to become like yourself in the real estate industry

First impression of you was, "hes got grey hair he's young hahaha, get uri his classes :) ... also how do u compete with red fin as an agent theyre listing cost is 1%. Agent are 5 to 6%.

We need to get Yuri in an MMA ring ASAP
Hey Ryan I've been watching you for about three weeks now, i love the editing, cinematography and the real estate info, just subscribed c:

Ryan Serhant please sign Yuri up for Krav Maga! Love you, love your vlog, love SILS!
Ryan Serhant asap!
Let’s sign him up!
YES put Yuriy in Krav Maga!!! Would love to see that.
Came here for real estate wisdom, left gifted with all kinds of personal growth nuggets. Ryan: you're a good man.
Amen to that!
"Short term speed and long term patience". I like that! Good vlog Ryan!!
Yeah, agree. Gary Vee does preach that a lot as well!
I love how your vlogs are around a theme, makes the video even more interesting to watch. Nice to have you in the TH-cam world Ryan :)
Love and London very well said!

Yuri's first impression: "you work 24/7". Love it when people recognise and respect hard work.
I love how you actually enlighten your viewers on how to improve first impressions with concrete examples and evidence, instead of beating around the bush and avoiding the subject directly.
Ryan Serhant you are brilliant, i could watch you all day. X

Wow wow good brother TNX
I’m really curious as to why you make these videos. I know it is commonly used as a tactic. For example, I heard a story about an upper class attorney that started a golfing podcast. Seems a little random for a man like that to get involved in golfing podcasts BUT, he dug up some raw, statistical data that showed the majority of people that could and would afford him as an attorney happened to be involved in golf.
So long story short, he did it to target a specific audience (possibly build the micro fame), therefore resulting in more business from the target group.
DON’T get me wrong. Not knocking your hustle no matter what you’re doing. Just educating myself on these new tactics.
