Every DAW has its pros and cons. But the functionality of every DAW is to manipulate sound to the creator's choice. Ableton is mainly used for vocals, but it can be used to make beats. The keyboard shortcuts he’s using might not be universal, but you can make music on any DAW. Just use what you are used to or have access to.
this is why everyone and their cousin is a producer now . the cost of entry is free and takes 15 minutes to get into a DAW and make something. it also means the industry is disgustingly saturated with garbage lmao
