      @@zelkinfalconer2005 Cars will lock you out of most things, except the audio, navigation and drive modes while not in park or not having the hand break on.

    On the stiff ride, you can go under the custom menu and soften the dampers. Otherwise it's super stiff in N-mode.

    Great great stuff !! In Korea Hyundai offers Avante N (Elsntra N) 280hp with 8dct ! It feels like real sports car! Can’t get go wrong ! 😁👍

      Also the RS3 is subjectively better than the i30N. But is it better to listen to your heart or head?

      @@phil_zupra_b5880well the RS3 was really awesome but the hype i had for the first 2 years or something was gone , so this was my sign to finally sell it and iam ready for a new car. I don't care if the next car will be a class below the RS3. although BMW M4 is on my shopping lost as well haha, listen to your heart and ignore opinions from your friends. you are driving your car and not your buddys right

    Next time put on custom mode! Everything on max, but suspension on normal! N mode only on track, or really good road

    Pretty cool ride! I wish they would make the front headlights and rear headlights bigger again like in the late 2000s. Aside from that the car was cool!

    3:52 shape of tyre tracks on surface shows(more side marks) that tyres were on recommended pressure what is not good for hard braking, pressure must be higher for 0.2 bars, that ensures uniform tyre tracks on surface and better braking action

      In N mode, the suspension is quite stiff and you can feel every bump. So the shaking of the camera represents the characteristics of the suspension quite well. That is in normal mode much more pleasant and in N-Custom everything is also manually adjustable, so you can drive there on a slightly more comfortable spring setting.

      he was probably driving in N-Mode which is pretty much for track use only. It does have adaptiv dampers and you can configure it to be "soft-ish" but everything else in track mode.

      @@elsereno4 It's a 280bhp hatchback. One of my references for shift up speed, for instance, is the Ferrari F50, which shifts from 4th to 5th at about 230km/h. But it's a 513bhp supercar. A hot hatch that can shift at that speed and still has puff to keep pulling is quite impressive to me.

      @@andreasbeaufort3594 HP has nothing to do with gearing. Besides you’re comparing a 30+ year old Formula 1 derived V12 engine to a modern 4 cylinder that has ~1700 revs less than that. The F50 has a 6-speed MT while this Hyundai has an 8-speed DCT. These “extra gears” are just for fuel efficiency, nothing amazing to see here. Certain Ford vehicles have 10 gears, for the same reason

    Immer wieder toll zu sehen dass es immer noch Leute gibt die ihr Handy während der Fahrt in die Hand nehmen. Anscheinend sind die Strafen wohl noch nicht hoch genug

      So isses, na ja, anhand der YT Geschichte kann die Polizei ja zum Glück das Ticket ermitteln und zustellen. Und da ist dann auch noch bewusster Vorsatz im Raum, das kann schnell gehen das da dann die Eignung zum führen eines Kraftfahrzeuges abgesprochen wird.
      Das Kennzeichen ist ja deutlich zu sehen. Das gibt Ärger mit der Rennleitung.
      Und noch was, der DTC ist in der Topspeed deutlich höher wenn man die Schaltung an den Wippen nutzt. Ich fahre selber einen und hatte GPS
      gemessen 291 Km/h drauf. Und ich war noch nicht im Ngrind-Shift, und es waren noch 1600rpm übrig bis zum aufdrehen.

    suspension in sport modus is enough for the autobahn, n mode or sport+ only recommended on racetracks. But i´m surprised 6th gear at around 222 km/h the manuell transmisson i can go till 242 in 5th gear.

      The DCT apparently has a little shorter gearing; honestly I like that, this way you can use it even more.

      I drove a Fk8 and had a i30N for over a year, the i30N is a lot stiffer but handling is a little better in my opinion.
      I would not take an i30N as a daily, it's even stiff on the "comfort" setting and the Fk8 actually feels like a good daily

      @@voqzmk2 I am surprised to hear you say about the handling. My cars handling is sublime, takes on corners as if it's on rails. Never had any issues with the cornering and handling, this is complimented by a wonderful gearbox.

    Hyundai need to tune their coef drag of theri performance car, i think bad aerodynamic, for top speed.
    But, again for stock performance car, i30N is amazing.

      You could do the same with 100 hp car but it would not go as nearly fast as this i30n.

    This car needs a refresh so bad even the Veloster I don't know why Hyundai doesn't update this car since this car came out in 2018 the Elantra was updated twice yet the i30 just got a minor facelift

    Much slower than a golf 8 Gti Clubsport or a Cupra Leon, especially after 200 km/h . It seems it lacks much more than 20HP from the rivals mentioned above… or on the other hand , the rivals have much more power than they claim to have..

      The facelifts are dynoed around ~300hp. The prefacelifts were a lot lower than 300.
      Even the mark7 gti cs and leon cupra 300 were around 315hp from factory. The downsite of the mark8 Generation is the "old" dq250 dsg. Powerwise the vag cars will be higher than the hyundai. I think it could be worse aerodynamics of the hyundai, slowing it above 200. Anyway, all of them are great cars!

      Its the adaptive dampers. They are pretty stiff once you go into N-Mode

    Naja 5 s. von 0-100 für die Leistung ist ziemlich okee aber ab 160 geht ja garnichts mehr.. Warum??

    Ich bin stolzer Besitzer einer von nur 55 gebauten Seat Leon Copa Edition und auf dem Papier sind es 286 Ps und 360 Nm / Laut Prüfstand 294 Ps und 387 Nm
    Werksangabe 5,9s 0-100
    GPS 5,2 (Handschaltung)
    Aber meine Endgeschwindigkeit laut Tacho 280 km/h und GPS gemessene 274 km/h
    Warum braucht der so lange und kommt grad mal auf 250?? 🤔

    So 280hp and doesnt reach 250kph even once. My 10 year old Stock Golf 6 Gti Edition 35 reaches over 260kph on the autobahn (and no, my runs werent longer then he did in the video). I expected more from the new I30N, was interested in it, but I'll happily stick with my Edition 35.
    Edit: not hating on the N models, I even wish we got the Veloster N here

    Yeah it is going up/down too much, same does the standard i30. Also the steering is artificial and not informative, isn't it? Sometimes it gets a little "stuck" at certain angles

    how can stock a4 3.0tdi quatro with 240hp(croatian interceptor) reach 270km/h when this car can barely reach 250km/h with 280hp

      With 240hp you can not do 270 in an A4. Fact.

      @@AutoTopnl yes i know that, but croatian police interceptor can reach 270km/h, what means it is tuned on more than 300hp, ilegaly, out of law, because in papers of car is 250km/h as max speed with no notes about any tunes, can you test some a4 3.0 tdi bi turbo that has around 300hp to see how fast it is

    Holy hell that car is thirsty at those speeds, you can literally see the needle move on the fuel gauge. does it only have a jerrycan as a fueltank.

    7:34 my stock golf 8 r does 11.35 100-200 (flat road no wind dragy) quite a bit of difference for +-40hp

      Your Golf R does not have 320 hp tho. The difference is realistically around 60 hp

    you forgot gps speed, it steals 5km/h at 113km/h on speedo, so this car can not reach 250km/h or it could at light downhill

      @@xXYannuschXx Ja und auch wegen dem Motor. Sehr oft wird gesagt "scheiss 4 Zylinder".
      Wenn man ein bisschen nachdenken würde, würde man wissen, dass in einen Kompaktwagen mehr als 5 Zylinder keinen Sinn machen.
      Viel zu viel Gewicht vorne -> schlechtere Kurvenlage.
      Und oft wird auch gesagt, dass es auf deutschen Straßen zu viele i30N's und GTI's gibt, was nicht stimmt, ich sehe selber kaum i30N hier in Köln / Düsseldorf, sehe aber deutlich mehr AMG und Porsche.

      @@voqzmk2 Ach, also die typischen Leute, die dann mit nem 2-3 mal so teurem Auto angeben müssen... Kann man getrost ignorieren, ich kauf mir kein Auto um damit irgendwelche Fremden zu beeindrucken.
      Die meisten kaufen sich gefühlt echt nurnoch ein Auto zum Posen und net zum fahren, da brauchste mit "Handling" als Argument garnet kommen.
      In meiner Gegend sieht man deutlich mehr GTIs als i30N, mit dem Facelift gibts aber nun doch ein paar mehr. Abgesehen davon sieht man auch bei uns deutlich mehr SUVs von Audi, BMW, etc.

      @@xXYannuschXx Es sind eigentlich eher die Kinder die so groß reden, meist unter 16 Jahre alt mit Fortnite Videos auf deren tiktok account.
      Mein Golf 2 wird aber auch ohne Ende gehatet auf tiktok, ist leider mittlerweile zu einem "Trend" geworden Sachen anderer Leute schlecht zu reden.
      Am schlimmsten sind aber immer die AMG fans, die vergleichen einen 200.000€ amg mit einem 30.000€ i30N 😂

      @@xXYannuschXx Nö, weils viel zu viele Deppen gibt, die mit dem Auto den Dicken machen. Gegen das Auto habe ich prinzipiell nichts, aber aufgrund genau dieser Fraktion bin ich von dem Auto auch eher abgeneigt.

      Stay with the VW's. My Stock Edition 35 is faster with only 235bhp. I tested a first gen I30N and prefered GTI's and even the mk 8 Fiesta ST
