Approach & Landing runway 09 Sevilla San Pablo (SVQ LEZL)

"Aeropuerto de Sevilla" is the sixth busiest inland airport in Spain. It is the main international airport serving Western Andalusia in southern Spain, and neighbouring provinces. The airport has flight connections to 42 destinations around Europe and Northern Africa.
In this flight we are experiencing some turbulence (confection) during our descent towards the airport. Landing on runway 09 gives a nice view over the city. Especially on the right side of the aircraft. Sun is shining from behind and gives a nice shadow on the left side of the aircraft.
All ATC and conversations are from this flight. Enjoy the view and movie!

Ben inderdaad de captain. Onderling kunnen we gewoon Nederlands praten. Tegen de verkeersleiding spreken we altijd Engels "Luchtvaart taal".

Why is that ATC speaking in spanish? I believed all radio communications must be made in english? Y que conste que soy de Sevilla y que he visto mi casa.

Officially the English language is the main language used in Aviation. But there are a few countries that use their own language. If you don't speak their language than you/they should revert to English.

Sometimes I hear dutch speaking in the Netherlands either.
Most times only greetings as good afternoon (goedemiddag) or good evening (goedenavond).
If it's a national flight the pilots are allowed to speak the national language during the whole flight.
National flights are for example. Iberia, Madrid to Alicante or Iberia, Sevilla to Madrid
International flights should be in English.
