We have stayed at Valley Forge Inn for 21 years. I remember when Joe's mom and dad were still there. The Cole Family are a wonderful Christian family. The first time I stayed there was in 1999. I was widowed 18 months before that trip. My sister invited me to go with them on Vacation. She lived in Darlington SC.. they had a 16 year old son and an 8 year old daughter who was going to follow vacation by going home with me to spend the summer with my parents. I saved as much as I could for 8 months for that trip. Dollywood tickets, the works. The first night their my nephew got into trouble at 2:00 in the morning. We had joining rooms and my Niece was with me.. my sister got into a very bad argument and physical altercation. They packed up and left. Went home. Left me and my 8 year old Niece there. They had the room with refrigerator and microwave. After they left I looked into that that room and they had literally destroyed it. The next morning I just knew the management there would kick us out too. The maid came in and saw the room. Joe Cole came up to my room and I told him what had happened. He ask if we were planning to leave also. I told him that we would love to stay but I understood if he wanted us to leave. He looked around that destroyed room and said to me with my 8 year old niece Quietly watching, Joe Cole told me that it would take His Housekeeping team about an hour to get the room nextdoor put back together and cleaned and THEN THEY WOULD COME IN AND MOVE ME and MY NIECE NEXTDOOR INTO THE ROOM WITH THE REFRIGERATOR and MICROWAVE, BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANT ME AND THE LITTLE GIRL STAYING FOR 8 DAYS WITHOUT THOSE AMENITIES. That is a CHRISTIAN and I have always stayed with them because of the kindness that he showed me at a very low time in my life. So go to VALLEY FORGE INN and find out what wonderful people they are.. 👍👍♥️
My husband and I also stay at the valley forge in every trip to pigeon Forge great little motel not the fanciest but clean very friendly staff very well priced
Cleanliness is most important. We always stay in Gatlinburg because we get up early to get on the trails and we're close to the park I entrance. But down the road when we don't hike anymore this will definitely be an option.
It looks like a great place and the location is outstanding!! We have stayed at multiple places there but haven’t made it to Valley Forge Inn. I did not realize it was that close to The Island. We will have to check it out soon. Thanks so much for sharing! Great video!
Have stayed here many times thru the years. Very price friendly and really haven't gone up all that much since the Island opened up, unlike a few others have done. I like the townhouse suites there (upstairs/downstairs rooms). Big Joe and Meleah you are doing an awesome job thus far with your videos!
Love these hotels that are not a huge chain!!! Especially when it’s budget friendly!! Right up our alley!! Great video as always!! Love y’all!!! Oh and the location here is ideal!!

Looks like a nice place! Even better that they're locally owned. Pigeon Forge and G'burg have been taken over by big corporate attractions and hotels.
