Mountain Breeze is my family's favorite. I dont mind old as long as its clean. There are some inadequacies, but not enough to make us want to stay elsewhere. This is an American owned, not some big chain.

We stayed there last July and we was on the second floor and didn't have any noise. Except when a emergency vehicle went by with the sirens going. Our room was very clean and they cleaned it and changed bedding and towels every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have that gap in the door and it was non smoking. We thought it was one of the best places we stayed at. As for the noise I guess first or second floors makes a difference. The only negative was no elevators and carrying luggage up the steps wasn't the greatest.
Every room won't have the gap. I have to review based on the room given. I'm glad your experience was better. Completely agree on the cleanliness though!

Those brown stains on the bathtub look to be where people lay their cigarettes and let them burn while they are bathing. I've seen that before. Pretty sad that people just don't care.

I couldn’t handle the smoke smell or the big crack in the door! So they still have smoking rooms? Probably at one time your room was a smoking room, those ‘stains’ on the tub are cigarette stains, people would lay their cigarettes on the tub while in the bathroom. I’ve seen them before at other older hotels, not a nice look for sure. Thanks for the review!
You did an awesome and thorough job on the motel. We enjoyed watching. We came to the conclusion a few years ago if a few hundred dollars was keeping us from staying where we wanted to, we probably shouldn’t be going on vacation. Great video.

All of the noise had me laughing there towards the end of the video. It sounded almost like it was a kid banging something against the railing. But for being in your room with the door closed that was awfully loud. I do agree that having the option of a heated outdoor pool in the Winter is a nice touch. Finding a hotel that does that in the Winter I'm sure is a rarity.
The concrete block wall, hearing people through the wall, smoky room, and gap in the door would all be deal breakers for me. 110 seems high for a night at this hotel to overlook all of the negatives that you mentioned. Did you pay 110 for a weekend night or was this a weekday?

Nice review Bob. Yes this is an order motel but it is a very nice one. We have stayed here many times but it’s been many years ago. But the people here are very very nice and it’s just an odor motel but it’s still nice for the $$$$.. we always asked for a non-smoking room. Thanks for sharing

I've been watching your videos recently due to planning a trip in June. I appreciate you attention to detail and value ranges you cover. There is one location I wish you could visit is the Camp Margaritaville Rv Lodge in Pigeon Forge. It seems to be pretty reasonable for this franchise & seems to have plenty of space for families of 6. A complex and variety room tour review would be awesome. It seems to have a resort feel with more entertainment on the way with new additional amenities.

110 was the average. I paid under 100 with tax on a Friday night in February
