We usually stay here most of time when we’re there in the area never had a hair problem but it happens I love their pool it’s 24 7 when it’s open gray location I agree the doughnuts 🍩 has always been fresh with us but i quess it’s the timing also they usually have lemonade or orange juice as well with coffee things change tho we haven’t stayed in the hotel in about 6 months or so great tour honest thoughts here enjoyed your take on the place

Other than the hair issues in the first room, it really looks like a nice place to stay. Will keep that one on my radar for when I'm down there next.

Way to go Bob, great reviews! I'm amazed that they exchanged the room so easily. Obviously, they weren't booked out or they might have been been more resistant or sent someone to check it out. That VERY noisy fart fan in the bathroom was off the chart ! I have a large service 🐕‍🦺 (German Shepherd) dog, that prevents me from many places due to Shepherds shedding issues. God Bless you & your family. Anybody that's friends with the SMF are friends with me. Keep up the good work. I enjoyed your comments on the Mt. LaConte hike with the Gatlinburg Hussey...

Until recently we stayed at this hotel year after year. Staff is great, we love the big back yard for my dog. Unfortunately, the rates are now outside our price range and now we stay at another hotel., But for those that can afford it, its a great place to stay. I think the hair issue was a fluke, because for all the years we stayed there we never ran across hair anywhere. I'm glad the second room worked out for you,.

I agree it was a fluke. Kind of a strange thing to say, but I believe other than the hairs everything was pretty clean. Could be they washed sheets that were covered in someone's hair and they didn't come out fully? Either way, the second room was great. Agree with you on the rates. Getting out of hand. Where do you stay now, if you don't mind me asking? Always looking for more affordable places to review.

I always take my little black light flashlight. Highlights any "stains" that may be hidden from the naked eye. And yikes! That sheet!☹
