As a primarily edh player, I've always loved your standard content. You make me excited to play jank, fun decks. That being said, I would absolutely watch any commander content you make. This deck looks really fun.
Dev we absolutely want more Commander content. Deck building, especially focused jank is my fave thing in MTG. Between you, commander's quarters, command zone, and brawl on arena I've been really enjoying the format and want to grow in it
I don't play standard but I love how you explain how to use cards in multiple and unforseen ways. I am a commander player and I love how you've been doing videos on this format also. You have helped me understand the game more deeply and I want to thank you for your video's and channel.
It's so cool that you've made a commander deck around Merieke. I remember when she came out in ice age and I was like 😱 Especially the fact that the creature you steel doesn't go back to the owner, but is buried if Merieke leaves play or gets killed is what makes this card so good!

More commander is welcome! I started off with standard and watching your channel and then sprang off that into commander. Of course I’m still here as well. The deck building possibilities are sometimes problematic there are so many.

Love the tech. I built her with a lot of those cards about a year or so ago and man is it fun! Commander is a great format for brewing challenging and creative decks. Maybe collab/guest on the Command Zone someday? Of the two TH-cam channels I get notifications for, you were my first, followed by them. Love the deck techs and spoilers, and when you put together those set strategies for sealed release events. Keep up the good work!

The recently printed Verity Circle fits nicely with the various tap shenanigans (when MRB's isn't in play) . Love the EDH vids!
I really enjoyed this man. I can feel the research and dedication in it, and since it’s 100 cards, including the commander, it’s pretty hard to build it.
Personally, if you’re gonna make Commander deck techs I would like commanders you love or archetypes you enjoy playing. I personally love landfall and lands matter commanders so I have decks such as Omnath Locus Rage, Lord Windgrace, Yarok lands matters, and currently I have tatyova. Other decks that I could see buildings are mono green builds like Multani or Kamahl since I have them jajajajaj
But I also enjoy drawing cards so I have the locust god as a not lands matters commander deck.
If you would build any of this commanders I would love to see your take on them. Plus, commander content is always appreciated since magic has such an enormous pool of cards that maybe you see some interactions with cards I didn’t even knew they existed.

Commander is cool and I appreciate these videos I just never really got deep into it. I would love to see what you think of Pioneer and what you have cooking in Pioneer. I love that Wild West if deck building!
This was my first commander! She was my favorite legendary creature also, and my first gold card I ever pulled! Payed to have her altered to fix her face and extend her art, it is amazing, and she is my second best deck (Narcet cheats)

Loved the video brother, this deck has the sauce! I'd love your take on a Chulane good stuff deck, I've seen lots of flicker synergy and that's cool, but I also see the commander as a nice engine for a good "mid-range" deck in EDH.

First, I vote for more Commander content! Love ya, Dev. Secondly, I hate playing against this card! I’m not a fan of overly controlling strategies in Commander. Esper control is the antithesis if Commander to me. Just my opinion. Like they say, a bad day playing Magic beats a good day anywhere else. So while this doesn’t ruin my day I’d rather actually be allowed to PLAY the game rather than watch someone else.

Avacyn is maybe the single best card in my Merieke deck. Also I have like... 5 "swiftboots" in mine. I also think the 1 blue counter an instant counter spells are a must. In my group i'm arch enemy as soon as I grab that deck. It's Esper control until I can lock the board down and steal all the stuff. The other day I got to untap with Empress Galinna and all the commanders belonged to me. I've played forever so Preacher is in my deck. I get that it's stupid expensive for no reason. :/ I prefer to keep all the creatures but on a budget don't forget Royal Assassin, Big Game Hunter, The White Big Game Hunter That Big Game Hunter Was Color Shifted From That I Can't Think of the Name of...

Does someone know how those coefficients are computed in the end ? Is it Dave who evaluated them arbitrary ? Make total sense when you are building an edh deck and not only power level and draw/ramp/removal. Anyway thank you for this deck tech.
Merieke is such a silly commander, so many untap shenanigans! I really enjoy using lots of untap draw effects to win in 2 to 1 turn with Approach of the Second Sun. LOL If you want to have a insane game do a two headed giant commander game with your partner playing Derevi ;p
I would love to see something like budget tatyova, benthic druid, you don’t have to spend any real money at all to draw 20 cards with her and start casting 11 drops way ahead of schedule

Used to run Her before Varina Lich Queen was printed as soon as the table read her I always saw hate even though she was just an Esper commander I used to need to “make deals” to not play her

I wouldn't mind more EDH decks, unless it cuts to much into the general content of standard decks; So an EDH deck every 2 or 3 months would be fine by me. When you take a 3 month window you can make it sort of a 'Season Special', could even do them on or around the 21st of March, June, Sept, Dec, and make it a solar cycle thing... As far as commanders go, i would personally opt for any commander YOU find interesting, under say $10,- ... I like the ones you like, because it makes you really enthusiastic for it and thus more likely to really dive into it, and as a more or less budget player, i would argue that $10,- is the max. i would want to pay for a commander ... lastly, while i applaud looking for older cards and using the whole of magic to build the deck, looking mostly at cards from more recent sets (pioneer legality f/e) or looking there first (and put older options in) would peak my interest, as there might well be cards in the deck that i already own (now collecting dust) that would reduce the budget i would have to spend for building the deck. (This is btw. a way EDH decks seem 'to grow' from my collection, various legends or combinations/sets of cards that really interest me for some reason (or say Pre-release Promos) will get me to find other cards that go along with it, and then make me look for a commander to go with them as well, and b4 you know it my desk will be filled with piles of cards from my collection trying to see what all jives (generally way more then 100cards), then the internet will join in searching for other cards that would fit in etc. and before you know it, the categories will grow, the wincons will establish and a commander deck sees the light of day.
I pulled this from a bargain bin at my flgs a million years ago and didn't know ehat to do with her.

Also on the bury , you must put it under the top card in the graveyard.
No idea where you got that idea. Even bury's original rulings say nothing about that and today its synonymous with "destroy, can't be regenerated"

I think Intruder Alarm is too good not to include its keeps the board clean of creatures. Just negates infinite creature combos if you have her out

Brainstorm isn't very good in EDH unless the top of your deck matters. Ponder, Preordain, Serum Visions, Sleight of Hand, and even Portent are all better
