I just cameback from siargao a month ago and all these questions about being sustainable came into my mind, Siargao for me is a love story, I love the Philippines, but Siargao is a feeling of being at home and it never leaves you. Siargao is truely a paradise and awareness for its future, is essential. Erwan, you did a great job and that video need to be shared and people need to be aware of this!! Bravo!!

we just got home from siargao and this video is truly an eye opener. we had an accident over there, our multicab fell on the road because of overspeeding (the driver was apparently an inexperienced multicab driver) and we had minor wounds thank heavens but sad to say the cab we hailed was colorum. please Erwan, also look into these things in Siargao. we paid an illegal vehicle to take us to the port to sugba lagoon. and it's okay with the locals to keep up with their tour business even though their vehicles are not licensed! currently, the vehicle is impounded but please we hope to spread awareness on these matters as well. anyways, cinematography is excellent and u always have the best content. thank you for this!

Awesome content! I was in Siargao last month and this video captures everything I felt and wanted to share with others. This was beautifully curated and challenges tourists to really think about their impact. As a Filipino American, I have so much pride in showing other people the motherland, but at what expense? I had such an internal struggle being in a place that’s on the cusp of the next big tourism boom, but it was nice to see the measures the island is trying to take to ensure sustainability.
This is an issue that all of us both foreign tourists, local tourists, the locals, the government and yes even our kids should be very aware, educated and to contribute for the sustainability of our islands. Love this VLOG. I am really praying that we all have learned from Boracay, and the other tourist destination of our country. I am one with you Erwan.. More of this!
