I can tell there is growing affection for the Korean automotive companies. And deservedly so. Love this new Santa Fe and appreciate Hyundai and Kia aren't settling for boring, nothing iterations of their cars. Mad respect.
WOW, this was an awesome review! The new "one take" style felt like Matt Maran VR lol, very natural and a cool way to interact with the review. My wife and I saw a few of these on a vehicle transporter and they're very impressive (especially considering what her 2009 Santa Fe was like). Boxy is definitely en vogue and I'm here for it!
I like the design! I saw one on the street yesterday and had no idea what it was lol. That key is gigantic though. Did they make it so bulky so you're forced to use the app?
I like the design The only thing I don’t like is where the tail lights are placed at the lower part of the vehicle. I don’t like cars that have that personally but everybody else is spot on amazing
I happened to see one driving down the highway last week. The only side of the exterior I didn't like was the rear end. Seems like a very good vehicle though.
I believe all trims get the adaptive cruise, Hyundai calls it SCC (smart cruise control). HDA is just LKA+SCC tuned to work in sync I guess, which is only on select trims apparently
I've seen these on the road already and they really attract my attention since they look like nothing else on the road. I'm not too into the back end though
Love the new video style... especially if it makes it easier and faster for you to get a video up. Win win! Also, i know its not a huge deal to everyone but why cant they just put both artist and title on the screen somewhere?! This is the one thing about ny Mach-E that makes me crazy...when not on the radio screen, the tile at the bottom only shows title not artist and cuz I'm usually in CarPlay to use Google maps, I keep having to change the entire screen just to see who sings a song. First world problems but its a daily annoyance 🤷♂️
I like the old exterior better and really wish they wouldn't have mandatory captains chairs in the top trim. That is a deal breaker for my family of 5 for the times when we need to take everyone and maximize cargo space. I wish Kia/Hyundai/Toyota didn't force you towards captains chairs if you want all the available features.
That taillight placement is unfortunate. I fully understand the desire designers have to be bold, and different. But you can do that without intentionally making a design look ugly and poorly thought out.
@MatthewTheCCMA ever since they put the smartstream family engines and ditched the thetta engines they have been super reliable, heck more reliable than honda now.
You’re probably the same guy that complains that Toyotas are boring looking and then out the other side of your mouth you complain a company is taking a leap in design😂
Their designs are on another level. I really like it, except for the rear.. Kudos to Hyundai and Kia
I like it, especially the rear.
I love everything about this new Santa Fe. Hyundai and ( KIA) has been leading the way in modern design that combines form and function.
Great Review! It was a nice change having someone follow you around to record the exterior and bits of the interior
Love the video work combined with the commentary
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Hi Matt! I love the intro! I'm loving how the camera person follows you when showing the design of the car! It gives the video a more dynamic vibe! :)
I'm also liking the interior review as well! It feels like I'm there looking at the car in person! :)
BTW, please tell Kirk I said hello! :)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the new style!
Nice Range Rover you got there
Great Vid!! Love the new angles with having a camera man. A definite improvement. Thanks and Good Luck
Thanks, glad you liked it!

Oof I love this Santa Fe. Trying to convince wife she needs one. Also, love the video style with someone behind camera.
Thanks Dayne, I'm glad you liked it!
Reminds me of the Ford Flex in shape. I dig it.
Daddy Kirk nailed the filmography
Hyundai has hit a home run with this vehicle and, can't wait to drive this vehicle of course.

Great review! Great filming, Kirk!
Not the first time Santa Fe has 3 rows, the current/previous generation has it too.
This thing will fly off the showroom floor. All the Karens will be like "i LoVe ThE rUgGeD sTyLiNg"
😂
Wish they would not give yall the top trim , like no one buys that. Show us a mid trim.
That’s a nice Range Rover right there
Great video Matt!
Great review Matt can’t wait to buy one and throw bolt ons and a E85 tune 😤😤
I like the design! I saw one on the street yesterday and had no idea what it was lol. That key is gigantic though. Did they make it so bulky so you're forced to use the app?
The new Santa Fe or Telluride?
This models needs an optional bench seat. Some people like all the bells and whistles but don't want captains chairs.
There is optional bench seats did you even listen to what he said?
@@Vandantcyclone Not on the Calligraphy. Look it up. Don't believe everything you hear.
I see cyber truck inspiration there.
Video with Kirk?! Nice see you both working together!
Taillights are a little strange but overall a really cool car. I just saw one on the street and thought it looked better in person. Amazing price too

When my dad saw this, he regretted getting the 2023 highlander xse lmfaoo.
I've seen these on the road already and they really attract my attention since they look like nothing else on the road. I'm not too into the back end though
I find the shift paddles very handy in hilly country where I downshift to use the engine to reduce my speed and save wear on the brakes.

Someone's had a close look at some JLR products
Love the front end. But god the rear is bad
7 inches is more than enough Matt 🤣🤣
Wish Hyundai didn’t kill off the Santa Fe, it was unique. This is just a boxy sorento
That taillight placement is unfortunate. I fully understand the desire designers have to be bold, and different. But you can do that without intentionally making a design look ugly and poorly thought out.
Liking the new Ford Flex... I mean Santa Fe! Lol
Such a nice vehicle but that rear end just kills it. It looks horrible…
The Korean cars do not age well.
The rear end is just so bad
It’s the best part 😂
Those tires will be expensive to replace.
Looks are subjective but that is one ugly vehicle IMOP
All the Hyundai haters who still think they’re junk are punching air right now 😂
Well, we will have to wait a few years to see that…..
@MatthewTheCCMA ever since they put the smartstream family engines and ditched the thetta engines they have been super reliable, heck more reliable than honda now.
That rear end kills the vehicle for me… terrible🤮
