Don’t let the lower subscriber count fool you. This guy is one of the only Rocket League TH-camrs that has genuinely helped me improve. So often you see these “How To Get Out If Diamond” videos and the only things they say are “Ball over Boost” and “practice basic mechanics in free play.” Both valid points. What so many of those videos do not touch on is what do I actually do IN-GAME? What decisions am I supposed to be making? How do I actually improve my game sense? This channel is one of the only ones I feel consistently comments on these points that are so often overlooked. You are doing wonderful work, my friend. Very loyal subscriber.
I am glad you made this comment! It’s what many of us think. I consume a lot of RL improvement content but this is something special. It’s so easy to have a tunnel vision once you are very knowledgable about a certain topic or skilled. By that I mean many pros and coaches work with fundamentals as key concepts that will help you improve but they miss the part where a lot of us have to connect all the puzzle pieces which could be embodied in tiny details or micro decisions in-game in order to get the full picture. Nobody has been showing AND explaining these. Apart from this man. Thank you for giving us your (Rocket)Insight.😊
I love these in depth videos and comment sections, it helped me pick out a lot of my mistakes and helps the mental. it seems mine and most diamond errors are a combination of confidence and decision making (and some mechanical issues). It’s like IRL coming up to a four way can be intimidating but if everyone makes clear cut decisions everything works out, (even if they aren’t the “best” decisions).
I have been stuck in diamond for two years even tho my mechanics are well above, after i watched your videos i finally knew what the problem was ❤ thanks you deserve a follow
This sounds like me lol, stuck in like forever and although I am not super mechy but still good foundation and I sured up my weaknesses. I am slowly climbing now by taking faster decisions, staying closer to the play and consistently been able to fast aerial. Also I worked on my wall play and rotations, being more visible that I leave the ball. How does it go for you so far?

I was really bad in 2v2 but since your videos I have reached plat 2 and I hope I will soon reach diamond. With these explanations I am actually playing better and more supportive for my tm8’s. Thanks!

Ive been in d2 for a month now, i have been struggling to find a video that explains things in a simpler way. This is probably the best video i can understand clearly, im going to implement some of these things into my games. I will update you in 4 weeks to tell you if it helped
Man I have been hard stuck at Diamond 3 for a few weeks now. I’m constantly ranking up to D3 Div 3-4 and back down to D2-div 4 I peaked at 1050 mmr. I have been researching so hard I’ve been training and playing all day for months sometimes 90+ games a day when im not grinding I’m researching. I literally just came across your video and I want to say thank you 🙏 Ik this I’ll get me through Diamond. P.S something I’ve struggled with is getting opportunities for set ups diamond 3 is full of champs and the rotations are fast and the pressure is uncomfortable. my mechs are somewhat advanced but getting the right setup and perfect speed for flip resets / ceiling shots is hard to find from feeling rushed. Honestly it gets me in my head because for instance in D2 and sometimes D3 I’ll win by FF in streaks but when I go against players that are just better than me it really messes with me.
3rd comment! And it’s official I finally got Champ 1 and am holding my rank. I last commented 2 weeks ago and was hard stuck D3. I actually for some reason ranked down to D1 almost quit but took a day off playing came back and melted everyone I played in 2s. When I play now I literally play the tape of your videos in my head like ok what should I do here go for boost no no I need to cover mate and keep possession long enough for him to get back into position. Also if I pass I don’t just abandon the play for boost I’ll literally land and if I can land right I’ll bump or demo as I rotate back. Thanks for your effort to help our community grow. I believe everyone can be SSL if they work at it hard enough it only took me 400 hours to get champ, imagine what 800 will be maybe GC. Since you have been such a big help I’m going to send of my replays to you I don’t care about it being on TH-cam that’s up to you i would just be happy with you breaking it down for me in Discord or something. I have a bunch of footage saved I plan on making content whenever I get up to C3-GC.
Second comment. This channel is THE ABSOLUTE BEST TO IMPROVE. These other channels like spookluke do more harm than good I’ve always felt that way and this channel right here puts them all to shame. Am I the only one that can't see the difference between these diamond and champion gameplays? C1 and D2, 3 seems so similar. A couple of days ago I got scored from an air dribble that started in the opponent's backboard, the guy crossed the whole field, it was diamond 3, and in a C2 replay on this channel they didn't do an air dribbles once. But the videos are very helpful

I need help, I used to be plat 2-1 but I stopped playing for a while, when I started playing again I got gold 3 but ever since I’ve been declining like I’m losing the mechanics and game sense I had, I’m now gold 1 and I’m getting worse whenever I try to learn a new mechanic I just fail and fail and it’s like I can’t learn anymore pls help
Diamond is just a cesspool. Tonight I got flip resetted on 3 games in a row, then 4th game was me playing what seemed like low plats. There’s no consistency in diamond.

Idk man me and my bro been stuck in Diamond for HALF A YEAR now.The amount of smurfs down here is crazy and also "Luck". You might say "luck is not Thing but it is. I have clips of enemy goals you wont belive, and it keep happening.There is no way Out.

diamond still sucks and theres just more and more smurfs because when you do smurf placements you get put in diamond...
