This is truly a hidden gem of priceless content that's necessary viewing for anyone wanting to take their game to the next level. I'm OneArmSerge, a right hand only player, with over 1400 hours since starting a year ago and currently hold Gold 1/2 rank.
1400 hours in a yeaf averages to almost 3,9 hours a day. So its not really anything mind blowing. It more than most but when you think some people play 12 hours a day every day. Those people get 4,2k hours in a year.
This is honestly an amazing way of analysing a replay. Because of the text on screen, the visual markers and not scrubbing through the timeline continuously, it's really easy to follow along. If something's not clear the first instant, I can always rewind and suss out why something didn't click in the first place. Not sure if I can get ever out of diamond, let alone champ, but you've got another subscriber. :)
This is a brilliant video. In the first 5 minutes you’ve called out and told me how to improve upon more of my bad habits than every other TH-camr telling me how to escape champ. This video is well structured, annotated with clear visuals, and the commentary on the good and bad helps me so much more than just commentary on the bad. There’s so much I can comment on but ultimately I’d like to say please keep up the amazing work. This was incredibly insightful. Subbed and looking forward to some more growth
simple, clear and effective. i love spookluke's channel, but he says the same things since 2 years now, and doesnt go into to deep. here you can see normal gameplay with positive descisions and negatives. i love it :)
I just want to say thank you! I am hard stuck in champ for a long time. My mechanics are decent for champ and I always thought my teammates were the reason for the inconsistency. Now I watch all my replays and use your analysis tips to understand what I’m doing wrong. Currently I’m 10-0 wins and winning by a huge margin compared to how my games went prior to this. Thanks you so much. I finally feel like I’ll be able to get out of champ.
Woah !! why have i not seen this video before!!! TH-cams algorithm is so messed up sometimes , wish i had seen this sooner. very good video. i just love how you breakdown each engagement ...with the ball and off the ball. very easy for me to understand (c1 player)
This is great! I think for lower levels like me (c2), having the mistake being pointed out is more effective than watching a pro or a ssl making good decisions. But anyway, this whole content is very good, presentable, manageable, understandable. Great work mate. I've subscribed.
This is a great video. It is very helpful and informative. I would love to see more like this of average game play. I am really looking to improve on gamesense and positioning. I think you handle that well. I am now a subcriber. Keep it up.
Man this guys videos literally helped me within a couple of weeks beyond what I would believed I went from D2-D3 to C1-C2 by just thinking about what he says when I get in a familiar situation like those in the video. If you read this unsubscribe from all of those fake coaches and stop watching there videos to get better trust me pretty much everyone except for RocketInsight is trash at sharing knowledge they have ran out of easy content ideas and recycle videos and making up stuff that’s non really helpful for views… Comment on all of there videos and tell everyone in the RL community about this amazing mentors awesome replay breakdowns
Wow this is really showing ur why too and why not and making complete sense thank you for that.... you definitely now have me hooked so 4sure I'm subscribing ❤
your videos are genuinely so simplistic yet beautiful. straight to the point, no long intros, ad breaks or anything distracting, just pure analysis. thank you
I like this one more, sorry. It gives the video a whole different vibe and feeling than other channels. Your voice is fine but I think this one adds a crisp clarity and polish to a RL instructional video that's a fresh change of pace to the other youtubers. Consider maybe doing a short series and only using it. There is a reason this is one of your most watched videos...
This is actually really well executed and super insightful, this is an average of what most of my games look like. I will be watching this many times and comparing to replays! Thank you!
Hey bro I love your thumbnails. Are you able to direct me to some sort of guide that you used to learn how to make certain aspects of your thumbnails? Or maybe just teach me them yourself? Thanks!
Great tips. I'll add one : at 11:52 , You have no boost so you should do front flips here. Speedflips are only faster if you can boost at the same time.
Would you be able to replay review for me? I have just over 750hrs (started last September), and I'm currently mid Champ 1. I switched to PC about 2.5 months ago and went from D1 straight to C1 and have been C1 for about a month. My goal is C2 this season, C3 next, and GC1 by the end of next summer. I really like the way you've reviewed this one!! Edit: My ultimate goals are SSL, and possibly competing in CRL and RLCS someday as well...
really good video but how are the people in the game champ tho i’m c3 and my games are really fast pace and a lot of mechanical skill and there’s little to no error i don’t really understand the ranking system
Love the analysis but just one thing i dont get /agree on When he is on backboard and slows down to get control which is good in higher lobbies its bad and you sugest playing it simple but when he brakes to fast Ariel thus making the easier play for his rank its bad . I feel like habits that are good like not braking before fast arieling and taking control on backboard are worth building early as long as you have the basic makes but not the reps
I feel like this person plays very similarly to me. Is this replay me, but made anonymous? There are some differences from what I think I would do, but it's almost like I remember playing this game.
The number 1 thing that makes me think it probably isn't me is the 2nd kickoff, the guy goes for boost instead of cheating and that would be strange for me unless I'm partied and my teammate likes to lose the kickoff to the corner.
It definitely isn't me. I thought the orange stocktane was part of the players being anonymous, but it looks like everyone else has different car designs and I don't ever use an orange stocktane.
The idea of playing 2s is to try and stay close to your mate for support and following up on the ball. If you cheat, then you're doing exactly that. If you don't cheat, and the opponents do, then you leave yourself in a potential 1v1 with getting flicked on.
watch your own replays. you will see that outside the game everything you do looks worse than it is in-game, no offense though thats called the third person effect
A lot of bad advice in this. Saying to get closer in every play was immediately followed by the opponents taking possession. Had he "played closer" it would've been a goal in almost every instance.
Couldn't have said it better than @haraseesgill8491. Your videos truly stand out atm. Something about the pace and balancing of positive and negative observations make them actionable and digest. I hope you'll be making more videos for diamond and champ level. Don't waste this opportunity to grow your channel =)
Bro this videos is AMAZING!!!,literally watched this and won 5 games in arrow,I’ve been playing really bad for 2 weeks and this saved me,thank you!!!🫶🏼

Amazing format! Keep doing these with more replays to show more examples! I really need this to get rid of autopilot plays when I play

holy crap this video is so good and straightforward
Amazing review as always. As a champ player i relate to some situations there. Good to know how to deal with them.
your videos are genuinely so simplistic yet beautiful. straight to the point, no long intros, ad breaks or anything distracting, just pure analysis. thank you

10/10 for the content. Amazingly detailed and insightful. 3/10 for the cringe AI voice though. Subbed!
This is incredibly useful and helps me understand how I can go about doing my own replay reviews too! Please do more!!
This was awesome. I'm C2 and I can definitely see some common mistakes.
this single video got me to subscribe
Great stuff!
I like the text. Find it easier to understand. Tho maybe because im more of a newbie, but always appreciate explanations of why
How can I get my replays reviewed??? I’m really passionate about ranking up and I would appreciate it
next video!
Great tips.
I'll add one :
at 11:52 , You have no boost so you should do front flips here. Speedflips are only faster if you can boost at the same time.
Is there any way to send you our own replays for review?
Vid helped me a lot btw thanks man!
I'll address this on the next video hopefully
You deserve a sub
Great video, I was just wanted to know what rank this gameplay is from?
I believe it was Champ 2 Div 2
i never realized i made a lot mistakes shown in this video. thank so you much for the video
And here I am, trying to get into champion, but it's hard, right now I can't get past D2, but I just got diamond last season.

@dork hardest elo to get out of for sure but you can do it!
as a hardstuck champ 3 this player and I play the same so this video is feels like free coaching.
In the SAM servers, this is a plat lobby, maybe low Diamond. lol
Can you do higher champ gameplay please c3 to gc1 🙏
here is a LITERAL tortoral about now to go from champ to grand chap while I'm stuck on division 1 diamond 2

I plan on doing a diamond one soon, probably after I release the SSL one. Stay tuned!

I feel like this person plays very similarly to me. Is this replay me, but made anonymous? There are some differences from what I think I would do, but it's almost like I remember playing this game.
I actually can't remember who it is but there's always the possibility it could be you. Did you upload the replay on ballchasing?
@RocketInsight I auto upload all replays, but I'm not a patron or anything so I'm only uploading 5 replays per session, but that's still a high chance
The number 1 thing that makes me think it probably isn't me is the 2nd kickoff, the guy goes for boost instead of cheating and that would be strange for me unless I'm partied and my teammate likes to lose the kickoff to the corner.

Please more champ analysis
Can you do me next? D3. been on the threshold of Champ for years
My next video is about diamond so hopefully it'll help.
So you can controlle the play😂
Are you a coach
Err not in the formal or official sense, no, just a player that enjoys analysing games and helping people get better :)
Why should you always cheat?
The idea of playing 2s is to try and stay close to your mate for support and following up on the ball. If you cheat, then you're doing exactly that. If you don't cheat, and the opponents do, then you leave yourself in a potential 1v1 with getting flicked on.
It’s really the odds. The odds of your teammate messing up the kickoff is lower than the opportunities you’d get cheating up
Always cheat is questionable for sure
If this is champ so im SSL. Good analysis though
this mentality is exactly why you're not ssl
watch your own replays. you will see that outside the game everything you do looks worse than it is in-game, no offense though thats called the third person effect

A lot of bad advice in this. Saying to get closer in every play was immediately followed by the opponents taking possession. Had he "played closer" it would've been a goal in almost every instance.
