Good morning, and hello to my Rosebuds (my nickname for Rose and family)! Another awesome lesson in agriculture and its end product. Hats off to you all shelling those tea seeds by hand. I would've put them in a sturdy bag and gave them a good wacking to separate the shell from the kernel quickening that part of the process. I know some of the kernels might get broken, but it will happen at the milling stage anyway, so no worries; this will free up time to focus on something else. I know living in the country, time rolls by slowly, so you have the patience, but you are on a mission now to satisfy our appetites with your wonderful vlogs.😊

Camelia or tea oil can be easily bought online in the UK. It tends to be used alot for beauty as opposed to food.
Is Tea Oil different from Tea Tree Oil, just asking.
Tea oil is made from seeds of the tea plant, Camélia Sinensis. This is the same plant whose young leaves are used to make tea. The oil is fragrant and can be used for cooking and added to noodles, pasta, and salads much like olive oil.
Tea tree oil is from the Australian Melaleuca tree. The leaves are steamed to extract the oil. This is NOT edible, but is antifungal, so can be applied on the skin. It is better to dilute in water first as skin damage can occur when used full strength.
