Most of the imported fruits from faraway countries are expensive in Canada. Anyway, in the Chinese grocery stores in Toronto, the flat ones are on sale for $1.88 per pound this week. I grabbed some a couple of days ago.
WOW, I absolutely adore those fruits and would dearly love to grow some in my garden. You guys are so fortunate, been able to eat naturally grown fruits and veg. Much ❤ UK.

Jess: They sort of taste like Jamaican naseberry.
Naseberry in SE Asia and other parts of the world are called sapodilla. I like persimmons when they're overripe and soft.
The sticky ones you eat when they are ripped they are very sweet
In Los Angeles persimmons are 99 cents a pound or 75 cents a pound.

Rose has inspired me, that it is okay for my kids to love whoever they choose as their life partner. They don't have to go by the stupid stds I set for myself. Love is a beautiful thing
be careful of this - it is not love that is above God - God is supreme and He is the King of Love. At the end of our lives, we have to be acvountable to God, Almighty Jehovah, for our lives on earth. Read the Bible and pray to God, He will order the steps of your children and ylurs to full salvation after you leave this earth. He will bless you with wisdom and knowledge.

We call them Sharaon Fruit in the UK. They are a tad bit expensive in the supermarket but can get cheaper in the open market. I love it when they are very ripe and juicy - the orange red looking colour ones.

We had a persimmon tree in our back yard and my friend used to come out and spread a tarp under it to catch the ones that fell off after ripening. She made persimmon pudding with them that was sweet and delicious! I could never make it like her.
