This is just a regular question, if I buy bo6 ps5 version and play it on my ps5, can I connect my ps4 scuf controller to my console and play with it because isn't it technically a ps4 game too?

And its the dumbest thing that you cant 🤦🏽♂️, unfortunately it dosen’t work that way , you cannot play a ps5 version game with a ps4 controller… you can only play a ps4 VERSION game on the ps5 console. So in other words if you want to play cod with the ps4 controller on the ps5 … then you need to play the PS4 VERSION of it .
I really need your help im on windows 11 ps4 controller wired and i followed all the steps correctly no errors it shows up like your did 1000 rate and i thought great i did it right but when i go to ds4windows it doesnt show up as 0-1 ms it just stays the same so im confused i only have hidhide installed which i disabled then overclocked it again but still the same didnt change anything
@ yea if its 3.5 its not workin , yes reinstall it , and also when u open the folder and RUN a file thats there thats called 4khz .. that file is in the same place where the ( Set up file) to open the app is. And try different USB ports.. And if you havent, make sure to turn off the Memory integrity ( CORE ISOLATION ).
@TakeNoteZ yeah I have windows 11 so if I didn't turn it off it wouldn't have worked I have secure boot off and core off nothing should be interfering unless it's a usb problem I could try an adapter I have since I only have one usb port
I play console sadly, I've seen a video that if you overclock your controller and go back to console it'll remain default but cause it's overclocked to 1000hz would it effect anything on the console or controller itself?
@@esportsmiyagi correct , if you overclock your controller on pc , it will have no effect at all on console, so it will basicly always be at default when using on console
@@scazzzi hmm , try to double click a file that says hid4khz . That file is in the same spot where you open the program ( set up ) . So run that file and do it again

@@AtomicThomas yes , only if you plug it in a different usb port .. so basicly what you are overclocking is the usb port itsself , therefore if you plug the controller in a diferent usb port then you goin to have to do it again .. but if you plug different ps5 controllers to the SAME USB PORT then it will always be overclocked 👍🏽

@@maxbaez9 hmm never heard of that before, but if anything try doing the overclock on a 3.0 usb port , so just switch usb and do it again then test it back on ds4
@@TakeNoteZ the port is a 3.0 but maybe not the cable. this works for my ps5 controller, i see 0ms in ds4windows! for the ps4 controller im using the one that came with my logitech g pro mouse and that can do 1000hz polling. do you have a reccomendation for a micro usb cable?
@@TerrellLove-f6p unfortunately no brotha , over clocking a controller on pc is essentially over clocking the USB port on the pc not the actual controller. if you are playing on console you are already at the lowest latency you can get.👍🏽
Can confirm This, installed it 2 Times since release of black ops 6 and after 3-4 days using the overclock i got a shadow ban. Never installing it again. I came here to find any info and now someone called it
@@tiptop54321 yes if it happened as soon as you click filter on device then you need to go to core isolation and turn off memory integrity then try to overclock it again.👍🏽
@@tiptop54321 nah even if you try it does not let you put it back on. Just leave off, i have left mine of for months cuz i always play overclocked and never had a problem with it off so far
@@HeyySeuss run a folder that is called something like 4khz .. that file is located in the same folder where the Setup is , that , then try the overclock again
@@johannkempel4532 no , when you over clock it , it only works on your PC because you are only overclocking the USB port itself. So it wouldn’t work on your console

soo first time i tried my controller wont turn on whenevr i plug it into 1 of my usb c, trying again and now it gives an error message saying my controller will likely turn off
@ for ps5 controller yes 8000= 1 but in reality a bit lower then 1 , so about 0.1ms in actual numbers how i show in the video , and for ps4 controllers 1000= 1 in the program.

@@jnam1198 hmm interesting, prob when you have it open its utilizing the settings from the actual DS4 which is different deadzone inputs etc etc .. but other than that once you overclock you can close everything, the ds4 was just only to show the latency test. And u can also close the overclock windows, its just a one time thing 👍🏽
@@thatdrummerguy5150 try different usb ports , if that dont work then try if it turns somewhere else, like in another pc/laptop or ps5/ps4 just plug it in

The only way to get my interval to 1 was to set it at 8000? I ckeck DS4 and have 0 input lag. Does this mean I'm good?
