BE SAFE , HAVE FUN BCOZ LIFE IS SHORT
I like the fact that y'all go into detail as to what's there, what isn't and are conscientious about presenting the trucks honestly. Integrity is a fleeting thing these days...glad to see some still value their word.
Love both of you. Thanks for saving these trunks. These old trucks make me think about my father. We ranch and farm and still use a 1955 and 1956 and 1957
Nicely done Rick and Jamie. Jamie !, if Rick can get out of his brother Dave's beautiful hot rod That pick up is no challenge for him. Love your videos. TTFN...
Heck, I've been crawling in and out of cars and trucks since I was fresh out of my crib in my Grandpa's back yard. Piece of cake. Thank you and Thanks Fer Watchin' again my Friend. -Rick
This is a good video for any customer. They can appreciate how much care you take to make the vehicle complete and an accurate description of the vehicle. You are an honorable business man.
well that's really great that you go through the project trucks and get it somewhat running and make sure most of the parts are there. Yeah some people just lie their ass off to sell trucks like the guy you bought those 3 trucks from geez i hate people like that. I am glad to see you are very meticulous in making sure the truck is complete. I wouldn't have a problem buying a truck from you. Thanks for sharing and saving the old iron
Great Video Rick & Jamie ... That is one lucky Pennsylvania man that got this beauty . Rick's knowledge of those years of trucks is totally amazing ....I can feel the love for his creations. Thanks for posting , You guys rock !
That is so cool you sell the trucks with all the parts to restore the truck properly and all the little things are hard to get maybe some day we can see you restore the trucks you decide to keep love all the vid you two rock
Wow, that '57 T-bird with the supercharger must be super rare. I had heard that they existed but I've never seen one or met anyone who has. Very pretty and I'll bet she can get out of her own way, very very cool. It's nice to see another one saved and off to a happy new life with a caring owner ready to spend some money and get his hands dirty doling out the TLC...
I would love to find one of these in a crew cab (4 door) with a bed large enough that it would hold a 4x8 sheet of plywood, and 4X4 is a definite MUST!!!
Good Morning Rick , absolutely love your video's wish you and Jamie all the best In your persue of life. Didn't realize there was still so many 1955 gmc trucks out there. And alot of them In pretty decent shape. Keep bringing then back to life It's amazing your ability to accomplish this. 1955 was the year I was born , remember dad actually owning one growing up . Again wish you and Jamie all the best and the little fur ball he's just the best makes me smile and laugh every time he enters the camera. God Bless.

I love the trucks but the ctr 52 was very cool when you played with the camaro as they're one of my favs as well as I'm partial to 70-73 since I was born in 71 why I'm very partial to the 71 chevy trucks
When I saw you dismantling the heater controls, remind me of the firs time I cleaned my carburettor, when I finish I had a bunch of parts that I didn't know where they suppose to go, so I true them away, manage to drive 2 miles before I realised that the parts I true them away really important
Hey Rick and Jamie, I love all your videos. I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada and wanted to say Thanks for saving all that great metal!! !! Keep up the great work.
Fantastic! You are both awesome... I really and truly mean it!..I'm continuing to watch... A long story, but I'm going to look for a Project truck for my son and me to do together, so he develops "his hands"... Not his backside and thumbs- too much video gaming... Thank you..Thank you from Arizona..
If it shows up at my adress here in Pa. by mistake i won't hold it against ya Rick! Ha Ha. Awesome description and I (and I'm sure others) learned a few things. That red T-bird reminded me of the old cop show from the 70's Vega$ that the star drove.
When I was back in Minnesota. Every general motors/chevrolet car and truck with those cheap heater control levers. We ALWAYS parked the vehicle with the heat ON. Trying to set the heater controls with a cold vehicle would break the control levers.
Howdy Rick & Jamie; Customer is going 2 be more than happy with this 1. Hoping he's gonna send ya some pic's & you will share them as well. 55:07 & Not 1 shot a lil Anna ? U 2's Bad ! Just Kidd'n Friend. Thanks again fer a great vid. ATB Terry God Bless
I have to find new homes for most of them if I want to go Rescue others. Yeah, some of them are tough to let go, but as long as I know they are going to good homes (Like this one is), Its all good. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Man it's great that you round up all the missing parts that you can and look over these project trucks so close before sending them out! Would absolutely love to buy a truck project from you when I can!
Hi Rick and Jaimie glad to see that business is keeping going well, as another truck leaves that means there is space for a replacement, look forward to seeing the next one.As always keep well to both of you from across the pond, best regards Chris.
Thanks a million for this video. You've just made me aware of the fact that my deluxe heater has a light!! Adds to the interior at night! I have a GMC 100, 1955. Great truck. Thanks again, and keep up the great work. Happy Thanksgiving!
Right? I LOVE the way the Deluxe Heater Controls light up the interior. They really do make a big difference. Especially if you take yourself back 60-years and picture an old Farmer driving down a cold country road and being glad he paid the extra three weeks of wages to spring for the optional "Deluxe" Heater. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
@@ClassicTruckRescue So true! We take the heater for granted nowadays! Got all the cables freed up yesterday. Now just need to get a replacement blower motor. Not too easy in Ireland!!
Hey what a cool 1955 Gmc Napco 4x4 Nick is gonna love this truck!! :D I wonder if your gonna maybe take it four wheelin' just a little bit on the test drive if not that's cool. I would love to you see you take one of your Napco's four wheelin maybe up some rock's or something :) Later Peace out
I like how you know so much about these trucks. I'm also pretty knowledgeable about these and chevys. Any idea what the weight of the 55 gmc 370 staked truck would be? I just bought one and need to tow it home.
Nice truck rick by your head at time 30:22 you left a new washer on the rock's got to get that never know when you may need it great work my friend! Also where is little dog face she is alway's in your video??
What did this turn out to be a 1 ton or 3/4 ton? The 1 tons had 5:13 gears and the 3/4 ton had 4:57's. You could order a short narrow box with either running gear or a 8 or 9 foot bed. My old '59 SNB Napco had the 4:57 and I could never get tall enough tires in the 1960's to help it out so it just screamed down the highway. I have a '57 1/2 ton with 3:90 gears now but will change them to 3:38's after watching Jeff's (Elderly Iron's) video.
Like the video very much , only have one question. What are the black things on divers side roof? At first I'm thinking, camera , then horns, and now I don't have a clue. Have you ever thought about going to Vegas as a contortionist, you did a pretty good job getting out of the truck. As always, Keep On Keeping On. God bless you both
The truck is going straight to the body shop and I cut the hole out much smaller than it needed to be so....yes, I used one of our beavers, because I am still unpacking my tools and don't know where my hole-saws are. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
