    I must admit, I accidently ran across your videos while searching for something else. Ya'll approach to everyday "happenings", glad to see rescues of so many vehicles, AND...putting our Lord first!! Too many vids nowadays have no morals. Thanks to you and Jamie for bringing forth great vids and giving thanks where it belongs...........

    4:49 What did Jamie want you to give her Rick?.. Hey now !!!!. Great video, Good some of the grass is mowed. Loved all the little critters and the big critter ( Jet ). That aluminum Pecker is crazy, maybe it likes the sound. Thanks fer showin my Friend; .... Angelo

    Sweet job, and wish I could make it to the BBQ. Annabelle will be fer sure getting her fill of lovings. Be a great opportunity to do some networking with new faces and potential customers. Rick you ad Jamie deserve it.... you all have poured your souls into the Ranch. Save a plate fer me Rick lol.

  • @SteelyPaw
    @SteelyPaw 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It's a shame Pumpkin doesn't run good enough to use that bush hog, with all the property you have that would be the cat's meow. Perhaps Jamie can do some mowing on the little tractors. Was very cool to see Richard again, he loves cars, trucks, and tractors like we do. I think that woodpecker simply likes to hear himself taping on metal, a form of music to it's ears or for other woodpeckers to hear. Loving Anna riding your motorcycle with you, she's a smart little dog.

      Punkin' does still run the brush-hog, but only for brief periods of time. I'm starting to get the upper hand on the grass. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick

    • @SteelyPaw
      @SteelyPaw 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ahh, the grass gets cut when you get it done, I'm not picking on ya, that's not my style. I should have maybe phrased my statement about Pumpkin better as I see pumpkin picking up heavy loads etc. I I also knew you had said in one of your videos that pumpkin couldn't mow for long, I think you said it over heats. I also know you could fix it so it would mow if you had the time as I know time is your enemy a little bit. And by the way, old Richard was right, your Lincoln is very sweet. Brought back old memories because as a kid of 14 years old back in 1967 I worked part time for a Mercury / Lincoln dealership cleaning up new cars, doing oil changes, etc. kind of a laggy lol. Thanks for your reply and your videos, I enjoy them immensely.

    Kinda reminds me of the old mower I rescued last summer. it aint pretty but gets the job done. When you get done mowing use the plow to make a garden.My garden is coming along nicely as well.

      Jet has been literally "Living off the land". and I think he loves it. He does not look very happy when he sees me moving down his food. We are going to leave most of the pasture grass until we can find a way to harvest and store it for him. Thank you and Thanks Fer Watchin' again my Friend. -Rick

    Nice video-quick tip-careful with starting fluid on those small engines,it dries the cylinder wall out,it will seize a newer engine-better of squirtin a little gas in the carb with a turkey baster-learned the hard way(as usual)

  • @kevinisam
    @kevinisam 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Those Sears tractors are great. I have 5 lol. It is normal for the valve stems to be on the inside, as well as your grille to be broke.
    Your mower deck belt shouldn't be on that little pulley, rather the big one next to it (off the engine). If you ever need any help with this tractor, there's a few groups on Facebook just for them, my favourite being "Sears Suburban backyard tractor club"

    Hi Rick, if you run out of starting fluid in future (like we do), then try windshield de-icer or even deodorant we regularly start vehicles with this .The camper looks a great by.My friend Scott has just bought a 94 dodge roadtrek over here in the UK to join his ops suburban & Chevy box trucks (ex navy ambulances ).Looking forward to seeing Brutus comeing to life.Annabelle reminds me of our old dog Marci similar markings & nutty as a fruitcake too.

    Horse manure is the best fertilizer for roses. Bleach your shears after doing cuts on one. Before going to the next. To keep from transferring disease from one bush to the other. And put wood glue where you make cuts for the same reason. To keep out disease.

    • @ClassicTruckRescue

    I love your property! I grew up at the end of a one lane, dead end gravel road. Our 60 acre farm has 35 tillable acres, the rest is hills, woods, and creek. My Dad still lives there in the house he and mom built 38 years ago and my sister and brother in law live in my grandparents house, also on the farm. My wife and I live in town about 12 miles from there.

    As I am sure you know, any small engine that's been sitting outside over winter pull the motor shroud...mice will nest in there, the nesting material will block the fins, motor will seize. So even if there isn't anything there now, I am sure Annabella isn't lying that she smells something there.

    Valve stem is on the inside because the wheel is mounted that way. You can put it on the "normal" way or this way. This way gives the tractor a wider stance.

    Might I suggest about 8 goats and a donkey to protect them from dogs. You will no longer have a mowing problem and gain the milk and cheese. Caution they eat everything. Good Luck! The fence must be 5 strands of barbed wire and wooden stakes. It is cheaper than your time. You are a great restorer and should put all your time into restoring

    I had 2 Chevy 79 350 diesels and both had the main bolts loosen, which wrecked the block. You can either put red thread lock or replace with studs. the least you should do is torque them back down about every 10 - 20 thousand miles.

      I'm pretty sure the dog in this video is a lot bigger than my little Annabbella and fared better than she would. Annabbella does go after small critters and I don't care to see what would happen with her and a predatory bird 5-times her size fighting over a dead mouse. I have to say that it would be foolish of me and irresponsible not to put her safely away when I see potential danger. I hope you understand. th-cam.com/video/1akiPBPCVgg/w-d-xo.html

    That dog will end up getting it's nose stung by a wasp. When that happens you'll see a loud, whining meteor streaming across the yard ;)
    Looks like you need to trade something for a mowing deck attachment to tow with the big tractor .. That makes it so much quicker for the acreage you have there, I know a guy who has about 10 acres, a horse property. It takes him just over 2.5 hours to mow the pasture with a tractor mower.

    I would take that old Sears and robuck tractor and mow the grass down with it...but frist I would make me a pull behind ride cart that you stand on to pull behind it that way you don't have to walk behind it on all that property..

    I think Richard likes that Studebaker. Nice little Camper. How much grass do goats eat? Ol' Woody the ladder banger would work the bell on the fire truck real well. Great video always. God bless

      I think Richard likes the Studebaker too. Perhaps I can use it as a bargaining chip towards a certain old truck HE has......hmmm? We are looking for goats, but want to get babies so that they will be used to Annabbella before they get big. Thank you and Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick

      My grandparents had Goats and he still had to bush hog 3/4 of the property. So I'm thinking you would have tto have a lot before you wouldn't have to mow.

    It looked like someone had taken a shotgun to the bottom of that gas/fuel tank. You've got to admire metalpecker's perseverance still trying to peck through that metal ladder lol. Stubborn, but not too smart. Or maybe just hard-headed lol...
