When I cut mines my stress and anguish came right off with it. I had been coloring it for a while and I knew that in the end I would cut it. It was a shock to those around me because it was down my back and when I cut it, it was above my ear. I don’t encourage people to do it because you have to be stable in your mind and your walk with Christ imo. But it’s beautiful when you feel all that new and fresh hair come in. God bless all my brothers and sisters in Christ going through a difficult time those that have a mental pain or a physical one. You will overcome in the name of Jesus ❤

You almost made me cry all my life i wanted long hair as well my hair was always shorter than my sisters and i got teased a lot about it but now im finally knowing how to grow my own hair and maintain it so i can definitely relate 🥺♥️ but just remember it can always grow back!!

Thank you so much for sharing. I did a big chop as well three years ago. Hair had brown past my butt. I chopped it down to a half inch. Loved my ultra short pixie cut. Keep it short for two years. It has grown to my shoulders in one year. Ready to cut again before it get any longer. Have done several over my life span. No big deal. I enjoy seeing my chiseled features.
