Oh my goodness, YES! i have type 4 hair about your length after growing it out for a year, and baaaaabbyyy! The styling process on short hair is crazy and honestly takes longer than when you have long natural hair, especially if you're not doing a wash and go. I was like, dang, i might as well have stuck with my longer hair or my locs if i knew it was gonna be like this. Im growing my hair out again and will definitely be keeping my styling routine extra simple like i used to do. It'll either be a wash and go or some twists, and that's it, and my once or twice a year straighten and trim.

More time but less stress on the hair.

I have both and they both serve very different purposes for me. I use the revlon before I flat iron to wear my natural hair and I use revair when I’m doing a protective style or wearing a wig.

Thank you so much for sharing. I did a big chop as well three years ago. Hair had brown past my butt. I chopped it down to a half inch. Loved my ultra short pixie cut. Keep it short for two years. It has grown to my shoulders in one year. Ready to cut again before it get any longer. Have done several over my life span. No big deal. I enjoy seeing my chiseled features.
