Thank you for the shout out! Already some great people coming from your community to my new one. Really appreciate you guys and like what you decided to do with your alphabet challenge I’ll tag some more people in my final video :)
Great work, both of you! Really concise and educational commentary on all these games. Deception was one I hadn't heard about that really intrigued me.
I’ll do my name in letters D-Dungeon Petz (thanks Nick Murphy) A-Art Deck W-War Chest S-Set O-Oath (when it’s good) N-The Networks I wish I had a platform to champion Art Decko…. It’s so fun
It's almost like your diet now officially consists of Sour Patch LOL Not sure if I said it before, but I love the new intros! I think if the logo was bubbled just slightly would look great too, like a mancala marble thing (just my unsolicited 2 cents :) )
Nice list! Some lesser known or less discussed games I enjoy are: C- Colosseum G- Gunkimono I- Iquaz'u & Imhotep R- Rattus T- Tobago & Terracotta Army V- Village W- Waggle Dance Y- Yedo
@@FostertheMeeple awesome!! I've seen mixed reviews on this one but for me, it's a game that checks off a lot of boxes. Some complained about the inspectors being moved by opponents when you had worked so hard to fill up a row or column with your statues. REALLY??! Build an officer and move it back!! I love how the mausoleum is a giant puzzle that offers tactics and strategies. You want majority in certain sections for specific round bonuses, but you can't overlook the big picture about scoring big with domination and presence. Love the gane and glad to hear you enjoyed it.
@@dawsondemars1092 not sure how familiar you are with the game but here's a breakdown from BGG. I can't speak as to whether or not you'll like it considering everyone's taste is different. Tobago is an adventure game in which the players use representations of treasure maps to locate unknown treasures. During the game, more and more information about the location of a treasure is revealed and its possible locations are gradually narrowed down. When the location of one of the treasures is finally revealed players try to reach it as quickly as possible to secure the findings. The more clues you have provided, the more of a stake you will have in the loot. Players can carefully play their clues and use bonus-action gems to influence where and when the treasure is found in order to ensure a more favourable outcome when the loot is finally 'dug up' and shared.
This was fun, really great way to hear about more games, especially older games that we don’t hear much about anymore! For C I recommend Citadels, M I recommend Mottainai, P I recommend Paleo & PanAm, for S I recommend Santa Monica, and V I recommend Vye :) just a few games I think are great that I’ve never heard discussed on here!
I'm really impressed you could find games for every letter! I'm going to have to take a look through our BG Stats app and see how many we could complete. I don't think we have an X either though. Fun idea!
Someone on BGG was asking for XYZ games the other day. I suggested Xenon Profiteer based on playing once in 2016, and then by coincidence got to play it again. Turns out it was a good pick!
Shipwrights is probably the weakest of the series games from Garphill that I've played but its a high bar so doesn't make it a bad game at all! You definitely need to play with the expansions though and Shem revised some of the rules for the base game in those expansions which improve it quite a bit. I would have gone for X-com the board game for X, its one of the first app assisted games I think and is a fun coop.
Great list! lotta stuff i haven't heard of. Zooleretto was one of the early games we got into with the hobby and would def be my Z pick. Haven't played it in years but imagine it still holds up, sorta.
Xia is great. Should we ever cross paths I will have to remember to bring it. And I like it enough that I won’t even bring the box full of too many bones components in order to trick you into play that…probably
Please tell me there aren’t any more out of print games. I struggled to get Vast crystal caverns and LOTR the confrontation. However the ones that you mentioned in the past that are hard to get ( Fuji flush and oh my brains) are in abundance in france. Maybe you guys can do a video on out of print games 🌸

Great list! For an ‘X’ game, check out Xi’an. It really flew under the radar, but it’s a great area majority set collection Game themed around the Terracotta Army in China. Well worth a look. 😊
At the 13:40 mark...clearly Rodney Smith cheated!! In the game Junk Art...once you place a piece and it starts to fall you CAN'T catch it and re-adjust its position!! I wonder how many other games he cheats at?!? SMH

Thanks for letting us join in Reggie!
I love mean games too! It would be nice if you guys make a top 10 list of mean / take that games. Thanks for the great content as always!
At the 22:08 mark...Jeff says that Return to Dark Tower has "...SO MANY batteries in it!". Dude, the tower takes 3 batteries!!
Only 3!
Yea it was a joke!
Some really great games on this list that you have reminded me need to be played more!
Get after em’!
Great work, both of you! Really concise and educational commentary on all these games. Deception was one I hadn't heard about that really intrigued me.

Is Tobago worth finding? I’ve been wanting to try it but haven’t pursued getting a copy

Don't you DARE besmirch the good name of Mick McGoon
“Mike McGoon, #40 in your programs, #1 in our hearts”
Friedman Friese ( I probably spelled it wrong) has some interesting games that I enjoy. I love Fast Sloths and Fabled Fruit. Love your list!
We really want to try both of those!!
Colt express has a great app. Fantastic animation and can be played solo.👍👍👍
This is good to know!! Thank you!
Explorers of the North Sea - my wife even likes it! I have not gotten a copy yet. Oh Jamie Isles of Cats is so much better!
Now I want sour patch kids

Small clip of a bigger event haha. I wouldn’t worry about it!
How does Jeff not pick root for r
Because we wanted to talk about games we haven’t talked about a lot. We said so right at the beginning of the video!
