    What should I use to use to take internet from one building that has a wifi network and everything. I want at another building to create a different network with a different router and wifi? To me it seems like the building to building bridge with a router after the bridge is what I need, correct?

    Soo, after powering up the two devices, you plug the lan port to a computer I'm guessing? You skipped that. And then change the IP of the computer, I get that. How do you know the IP of each of the two devices? I'm not finding that info under the door or anywhere. I don't have the boxes. Thank you.

      You need a different product for that kind of range.

    • @KentSapp
      @KentSapp 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You may wish to look into the AirFibre product family. Fairly long range backhaul but very $$$ you are best getting an already existing ISP and using a VPN and I would recommend this only for dedicated WISPs or if you have a very specific use case.

    • @Enonymouse_
      @Enonymouse_ 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KentSapp Airmax would do 50-ish but this is definitely ISP grade backhaul project. UI recently launched LTU based Airmax product with much more advanced radio tech in it.

      I have 2 of these, been trying all day to access the configuration page, I've tried multiple computers, my network configuration is correct. I was able to access the config page on one of them for 2min before it stopped working again, resetting does nothing. I can ping them at their default ip, that's about it. If i figure it out i'll let you know. If you figure it out, let me know :)

      Turns out one of my POE devices has water damage and corroded pins on the POE OUT Ethernet connection, the one I was using to test both (It was used). I could power them on, ping them, But it wouldn't do anything else. With the other POE they both work. Luckily the person I got them from has an extra POE.

      trees hold a lot of water in the leaves which can interfere with higher frequency radios like this one. If you have a lot of trees to go through, consider a solution that uses 900mhz radios instead of 2.4 or 5 Ghz
