No but can we talk about how cool Jellal's magic is?? We've seen him fight a few times before but never at his full power. Hes such a complex character, too, especially when it comes to his relationship with Erza. Idk I just think he's underrated and wish he got more screen time.
Jellal is kinda like Itachi. You barely see those 2 characters fight, but you know both of them are geniuses, that would be one of the strongest characters in those universes.
@@MrKapucyn19 Facts. Both trying to take down the villain they used to work for (Zeref/Madara) and have more secret detail on that person than anyone in the series, both trying to repent for the lives they ruined, and both can use all magic/chakra elements except lightning but barely show it.

It's so rare to see 3 episodes uploaded at the same times maybe bcs of they already reacted untill Gray vs his father at Patreon... So the gap between at the yt is quite far... (I love their reaction for Wendy, Gray and of course Lucy's episode)

STRANGE FACT:
The original manga version of Erza torture scene, she was tortured Butt naked.... so this scene in the anime is more tamed.
Same with Lisanna
And Natsu
why would that be strange, i don't see any reason you should offer a Prisoner clothes, Erza's clothes are made of magic, if her magic is sealed she's naked, that's the expected result.
@@luigimanzelli3786 Erza's clothes are not made of magic. They are real physical objects. She just happens to have an entire arsenal of both weapons and casual clothes stored in a pocket dimension and then teleports them directly onto her body, when she needs them.
Also many of her weapons and armours are holder-type magic items, similar to Lucy's keys or Cana's cards. The only magic she knows herself and can use without any equipment (that we know of) are telekinesis and re-quip, or "The Knight" as she calls it", which is using the aforementioned pocket dimension.
That being said, with how the anime showed some of her weapons (or the fragments of broken weapons) back automatically, I can see how you arrived at this misconception, but that's to blame on the first animation studio, which took some more liberties, beyond making bad filler and inconsistently plastering magic circles on nearly every kind of magic, no matter how small, at some times and forgetting them at other times.
@@Norbert_Sattler wait so you're telling that all the strange looking armor she has where she look like a triton or the fire empress is not made of magic but she bought that somewhere and she's just storing them with magic?
That doesn't add up tho, cause when she's tired, her armor disappears, and is left with casual clothes that i thought were her only real clothes.

Just to confirm, that Nuke Jellal did was actually last seen when he went up against Jura in the grand magic games but it was stopped!
Considering that it was stopped, we didn't really see it though. :P
We did however see a different version of it, back in RAVE Master, Mashima's previous manga (and only in the manga, since the anime stopped long before it reached that point), where it was cast by Siegrain, who looked a whole lot like Jellal. ^^
i always NEVER understand why one detail in the Jellal vs Oraceon seis was censored, in fact he don't kept his eyes close .... he pierced his own eyes, that why they turn red, because of the blood ^^
Just gave me another reason why the anime did the manga NO justice. Unnecessary fan service, lack or explanations, censorship.
@@delanireid i agree, if the studio who animate Fairy Tail haven't put the fan service on steroid and the censorship in baby booboo mode, i would have even more appreciate the anime, and it would have a better reputation than the jiggly boobie oversexualised anime (like the whole minerva moment when the beat the f*ck out of lucy in the precedent arc ... in the manga, you totally think lucy gonna get trauma and scar trace of that, and in the anime this become a scene on oversexualised torture ... like when kyoka tortured erza ...)
morality, paper manga is always god tier compared to anime (IN GENERAL, they may exist few exception like FMAB)

I watch that scene and wince when she screams. I feel sad for her and hope she'll be rescued and feel anger towards Kyoka. I get zero enjoyment and absolutely no type of arousal from something like that. You would have to be disturbed to. I hear everyone screaming fan service and all I can think is y'all are some messed up folks.
It borders on ridiculous. How do we show these people are really evil? Murder is out since Erza can't die yet. They can't torture her because it's supposedly "fan service." They can't assault or *ape her because again some seriously depraved people consider that some form of warped "fan service" (makes me want to puke that people think that way). So what just some drawn out speech saying how eeeeeeeevil they are which is pointless? A couple of weak slaps? Can they actually depict monstrous acts or do we have to sanitize and sterilize it so absolutely no one can be offended?

Laxus and jellal are definitely my two favorite male characters in ft (every time I rewatch ft I love them more and more)
They used some of the best animation on erza’s torture at 27:38 , painful to watch but that was such an angering moment and it made the arc so dark imo

Considering how Meredy and Hoteye were unaffected despite standing well inside the visual explosion range (and presumably Jellal himself too), I imagine he can control the area of effect rather well and would have kept it to the arena, without dragging the audience in it.
that last attack jellal did was what he was going to use against jura in the grand magic games but was interrupted by being tickled and forced to feel the spicyness of chili peppers.

In manga (Chapter 365: Fairy in the Jail) where Erza was tortured by Kyoka, Erza was completely naked there while Kyoka torturing her.

Transforming into something smaller, while Elfman's fist is squeezing with it's full strength seems rather counterproductive. At best the fist will snap shut around the new shape too quickly to escape, leaving her in the same position, at worst the momentum of this shutting motion will cause damage. Maybe transforming into something slimy might allow her to wriggle free, but I don't see much of a chance for that either.
They wrote in that it's hot in the cells to give Silver a justification to do something nice for Lisanna, after they took his original opportunity away for the purpose of censoring.
In the manga Erza, Lisanna and Natsu had been completely stripped down to their birthday suits... which didn't particularly bother Erza or Natsu, but did Lisanna. And rather than a cup of water, Silver gave them blankets, so they could cover themselves and Lisanna would not be cold in the rather chilly dungeon.
