The point of creating F2,6BP is just extra regulation and there by making it more efficient. it might sound strange, but becouse F2,6BP stimulates the reaction of glycolysis and makes it faster that way. The point is controll. Sorry for my english, im dutch.
This was an awesome video, you helped me ace this part of my test for my Intro. to Biochemistry class. I'm back here again because I needed to relearn this mechanism for the MCAT, I specifically remembered your 'egg' diagram and how helpful it was. You did great, keep it up!
Amazing how complex the human physiology is and how we came to understand it all. Fortunately these tutorials are very helpful in understanding how it works.
Excellent video! I, for one, think that your tempo is perfect! I get bored or stressed watching slower videos... For those who want slower walkthroughs i recommend kahnacademy and dr najeeb. Keep this tempo Armando!
I think its better to zoom out and point what you are talking about. The enzymes sound so similar, very hard to keep track of what you are talking about. If you took an extra minute to point to what you are talking about it would be better.
You made a mistake, it's glucose 6 phosphate not fructose 6 phosphate, there is no fructose 6 phosphate only 1,6 in glycolysis and fructose 1 phosphate is involved in fructose metabolism not glycolysis.
+Chloe Six the start of glycolysis is Glucose -> Glucose-6-P (by hexokinase/Glucokinase) then Glucose-6-P converts to Fructose-6-P (By phosphoglucose isomerase)

YOU ARE SUCH A MARVELOUS PERSON, THIS CONCEPT WAS REALLY DIFFICULT BUT I GET IT NOW, AT LEAST PARTIALLY, I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH
wow this is soooo fast haha, i pause it and replay it like 400 times
me too!!! too fast
+I'm JazzCurious me 2 ... toooooo confusing !!!
Slow please
you just did me a huge favor! but I rewinded for so many times to keep up with the enzyme and metabolites' names
Ok...hands down ur best video!
Great explanation, I will recommend this page.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO FAST but I watched it twice and it was actually really helpful, thank you
You just saved me, I had already lost hope for my biochemistry test
This makes much more sense now. Thanks.
Excellent video!

Keep this tempo Armando!
this would've been great to have as an undergrad but its still helpful in med school. Thanks dude!
REALLY EFFICIENT EXPLANATION WITH FIGURES...
SIMPLE BUT POWERFUL......
by the way Armando, here by i declare my ever lasting love for you. Seriously.
Good job Sir!!! Thanks to you I finally understand that concept!
LOVE YOU MAN
Thank you Armando Hasudungan!
you did a great job post more videos on biochem concepts
my gosh you are a hero WAUW!
This video is super helpful.... Thank you.....
Omg my friend says the letter H the same way you do and I still laugh every time XD

great explanation!!!!
Thanks Alot !! Your videos are awesome
Hi sir .... Witch chemical use to melts the stone
Agree! you must say enzyme and molecule names slower so that we can understand
The best, thank you!
love it:) you are a saviour!
Awesome video thank you
Great stuff, thank you
..great!...I wish I had seen this earlier!
if you have a deficiency in this, is this acquired or an inborn issue?
"um, pls comment, like, and subscribe, if you must.
...actually, please.
Thank you"
hahaha

I LOVE armand0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So as a conclusion. Fructose 2, 6-bisphosphate acts as buffer between Fructose 6-phosphate and Fructose 1, 6-bisphosphate.
Your videos are very good but you must say enzyme and molecule names slower so that we can understand
great job
this is perfect
you saved my life
nice. :) good for my review after reading. loved it at 1.5 speed. :)
Gud work. .thanks
HOW TO CALCULATE ATP FROM A MOLECULE F6P
ur awesome.....
YOU ARE FUCKING AWESOME
anyone has problem with listening? he sounds like is phosphate, two is phosphate, phosphate
shit this is like a crash course
PHOSPHATES AM I RIGHT?
