Practice makes perfect for sure. One of my skills in risk is leveraging my understanding of player psychology. I'm able to quickly put myself in my opponents seat and (usually) sucessfully model what they want so that helps see through the fog a bit.
Nice game. The aggressive start from you and black sandwiching the rest of the board worked a treat and sadly for black the ol' Peteman played the better endgame. I would imagine a lot of those games are going on for quite a while. GG's Pete, well deserved.
My game was probably one of the shorter games, and it lasted about 75 minutes. I ended up giving myself up (in 2nd) for the bounty and win (I was crushed).
I was extremely motivated to get that game done before the stalemate as I had things to do that way. It all worked out. Couldnt really ask for anything more.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy I find it interesting that the timing of this map and settings kinda worked. I am curious as to the time average over all Trigons Capitol games. I think the various levels of ability made it quicker, possibly due in part to the fog.
I was wondering when this video was going to drop. I listen to it on the voice channel and was surprised at how fast it went! Black made 1 (maybe 2) major mistake(s) in the caps game. He did not use his capitols as extra defenders. Those things are ridiculously hard to break when they got a stack on them. Anyway, this was a pretty fun watch as most of these rounds went to the 200+ sets whereas your’s has to be a tournament record for shortest caps game lol. It was fun to watch. Btw, you were directly before my game in round 2. I had a blast in the FFA tournament, so thanks for letting me know how to get in!!! I recovered from an abysmal 1st round (dead after 3 turns) to take 2nd. (Caps is a stronger part of my game as I am good at forcing stalemates (I overload my caps 😂). It was a fun watch. Good game! Ya gonna have fun in round 3!

New to this channel. Just found it been playing rest for a while now. I've watched four or five videos so far and you've won every time so I guess my question is you got some videos on here of you losing or coming in second???
