im like 99% sure that it depends on which position you place the spider in on your team. ive noticed if you put it towards the back it will spawn a sheep. like in the 4th or 5th position.
@@tacobutt459 IDK I had a few runs today where all I got was badger. I think there's something wrong with the rng.

Not even three minutes in and I can hear the stampede of backseaters coming for NL over that duck play
I've been playing a lot of SAP, and I can tell you there's definitely some bug with spiders spawning the exact same units every round for the whole run. Unless you change them up somehow that I haven't figured out yet (I thought leveling and moving their position worked once but I haven't been able to reconfirm it) you will sometimes get a run where the spider will just always spawn the same thing. This video is more evidence to me. Always snails from the natural spider, always giraffes from the whale'd spider.
If my spider spawns something useful twice, I keep it (like a sheep or something else good), if it spawns something useless I sell it.

Honestly that would be cool cause then it's more of a strat than pure RNG
I always go for the turn 3 spider with a pill to get a early tier 3 unit for only 4 gold instead of 9

Just got a ten win marty! Was a weird one...started with a dog, shrimp scampy build and ended with the cat doubling food values on a cows milk and other food items to buff a hippo and a rhino to 50
Ended with Rhino, Hippo, Dog, Cow and Cat
So I think the spider summons are rng but will always give you that animal in that position for that run. Yesterday, I shit you not, my spider, regardless of level, gave me a giraffe 10 times in a row while I fought the same opponent twice and their whale-spider gave a whopping 4 sheep which popped off with their turkey-shark build

Scaling the camel and Hippo is such a drag and not having your highest damage unit up front can get you a loss.
I know I've got that nightly dose of SAP to lull me into a pogged up sleep.

I mean it's a tradeoff - if he doesn't roll anything else to run, the cow at least has decent stats. Even still, it's pretty likely at that stage to roll something better

At 15:00 you could have j bought the flamingo to save yourself the money next turn instead of the meat
Interesting thing with pill and ox where you can get melon armour from the start of a round by pilling the unit ahead. Good against dolphins, mosquitoes and such, otherwise minimally useful. Probably worth doing if you can though.

What was that first game? Switch to a whale build when he already had dodo scaling. Then sells the spider while keeping the whale over a 5-7 pufferfish. Then complains ox is bad but Ox was the only thing keepimg him alive?

Why is NL mad about the snails from spiders when a 2/2 that does nothing is like the average reward
it can also summon giraffe, turtle, and sheep at the very least. can't remember if there's anything else. turtle and sheep are much more useful during battle and the giraffe would be a much better result from the pill. Snail only has an effect on buy so it's literally useless. it is literally the worst draw

@@DheRadman It was the worst in the shop, but getting a snail in battle is no worse than getting a whale or giraffe. Yo be honest though pilling the spider was a dumb play so I’m not surprised it didn’t work out lol
@@NeoBoneGirl you're right. I have to wonder if there's a hidden drop table for the spider tho. I don't think I've seen a whale drop even though it's a tier 3, same for bunny. surprised people aren't busy documenting this stuff yet tbh

Super Snail Pets
I think NL is just really addicted to gambling, more than anything.
I knows its way easier as a spectator to see mistakes, but how does NL constantly do so well? I always lose, even mimicking NL picks. Like if I make it to 5 wins, I for sure get 10. But I always lose 2-4. ugggggghhhhh
If you're losing early you are possibly trying too hard to get sick synergies and may be rolling too much, while a sick synergy is often needed to get 10 wins big stats and tempo will help out early game

I think I'm like NL in that I want synergies and actions to be more important than base stats, but base stats are dominant in the late game.
@@tobyvision yeah, whale is not that bad early but falls off pretty fast unless you have like a perfect team. I see him dropping really good units in order to keep the whale eating an ant or something and I don’t think that’s the play sometimes
