Pizza may give better stats, but salad is better for your health. NL is just trying to be supportive of his pet's needs.

Otter is indeed great, duck is also better than NL thinks by a couple of factors.
I think fish is the best tier one, almost all my wins contain it, as it's easy to get high stats on
@@kyle.bylone256 yeah fish is probably the most consistent tier one, hard to give up a 2/3 stat line
duck also is very strong imo as long as you are giving up a heart for at least 2 or more ducks since +2/+2 or more to three units that you just buy next round is disgusting; a single duck isn't worth the full heart tho
@@rinzoka304 The thing NL doesn't understand about ducks is you need to commit to using the buff. He usually sells the duck and buys a single buffed unit where you should take all 3 even if they aren't units you like. A 7/8 dirty rat is still a 7/8

Dog scales itself whereas crab relies on a scaler to pop. Even with a scaler you need meat and some buffs to it’s attack for it to do well.

Moving kangaroo off the beaver killed the first build. 🦀 was way overvalued, and traded 5 buffs with garlic for 3 with meat

Nl should really consider running scorpion behind the beefy frontliners. The point of your Frontline is usually to beat the other team's frontline. And if that doesn't happen, you need a scorpion behind your beef to stop the enemy beef asap as possible and let your shitty backline maybe draw against the enemy's shitty backline.
Yeah, the scorpion can be sniped in the backline, but I found that usually, if the enemy is running indirect damage, your frontline can solo the round since you (probably) invested in more scaling
Just won a versus ladder using this strat yesterday. Two heavy hitters followed by scorpion will clean out most teams.
@@dvizr I once went full psycho with 2 heavy hitters, 2 scorpions behind them and a badger with honey on the back. It didnt lead anywhere iirc lol but it was funny as hell
It doesn't really matter, just kinda random if the scorpion is better 1st or 3rd, unless you're playing mind games versus the same guy in vs mode

The most important thing about crab meta is to understand that it falls off really hard. Having attack later on is just too important.

The crab in the first game was a throw on an otherwise 10 win run. The kangaroo behind the beaver would've gotten bigger and cleaned house in the games it mattered, while the crab could have been something that has more long term impact and better scaling like a rooster or a worm.
Crab is good, but you have to pivot off it by turn 9 or 10 imo. Source is of course dude trust me
kangaroo behind crab grows exactly as much as kangaroo behind beaver because, ofc, the crab has just as much hp as the beaver

If you have a spare space you can summon a new animal to the spare space and then combine it to level up and it will activate the dog.

As far as I've played p2w just can spamming and drawing/winning early leads to very strong middle game 10round wins, since you end up having the freedom to sell and place in pretty much whatever you feel like. Even makes squirrel a worthy pick since with luck you can get 2 cans
