Oh Thresh (the "demon") is definitely a bad guy, he loves to torture souls. But you guys really nailed it! Thresh captured Senna's soul and Lucian spent all this time trying to free her. And btw she isn't bad, in the trailer you can see that when she fires the gun she is actually protecting Lucian (the guy with the pistols) from Thresh's hook. Love your reactions guys, keep them coming!
The Climb cinematic came out almost a year BEFORE Senna's release. We all thought it was like the other short story snippets in Climb. But Riot had planned ahead. So Lucian, the man with two guns that shoot light is a light sentinel. Him and his wife, Senna, are both light sentinels. They fight with the darkness and the Black Mist of the Shadow Isles. The chain warden, Thresh was a cruel man before ruination and now he hunts and collects souls of the innocent to torture inside his lantern. While he tortures Senna's soul inside he also taunts and emotionally tortures Lucian knowing there is no way Senna could escape. Senna learned to use the darkness as well as the light inside the lantern and now she fights the darkness with both. She is still basically a soul manifested a body made of black mist and nothing more. She is one of the coolest champions in a long time.

sadly it is focused on jinx and vi but what else could I expect. It is not like Zaun and Piltover have many much more interesting champions and stories.
So the guy with the guns is Lucian and the woman is his wife Senna. They both hunt these mist beings like the guy with the lantern who is called Thresh. One time they went out and Thresh took Sennas soul and ever since then Lucian has been hunting Thresh to take revenge. Senna is actually a relatively new character and for a long time there was just Lucian and Thresh in the game. Hope that explains a little bit about the characters.
Senna and Lucian are also part of a group of champions called Sentinels of Light. They fight the Black Mist, which you'll see on Ruination's video and it's the next event coming to the game. So be prepared, because im certain you'll all enjoy and riot will definitely continue this story to complete the lore about Viego and the Shadow Isles.

I started playing League right about when Lucian first came out. Mid summer 2013. I got acquainted with his and Senna's story immediately. His quest to save her, or at the very least exact revenge. It was a story thread for six years. Six years of Lucians suicidal mission to the depths of the Shadow Isles to do the impossible and defeat Thresh in the heart of the most dangerous place on the planet. I'm certain he expected that to be a one-way trip. But not only did he survive the journey, he managed to best Thresh, too. And the most impossible outcome happened too- Senna was freed. She was intact enough, even, to be able to have a second chance at life. Shadow's Embrace still makes me emotional, no matter how many times I see it. The Ruination thing that came later happened extremely quickly, by comparison, and didn't have anything CLOSE to the weight Senna's arrival did. I'll say it again. SIX. YEARS. Of hoping this crazy man could save his love from the jaws of death- no- eternal torment. This was the payoff everyone hoped for but nobody expected.

5:44 my eyes always and ALWAYS fill with tears when I see Lucian saving Senna. I've seen this cinematic more than 10 times, in various reacts, but I still feel the weight of the emotions that Lucian carried for so long.

Some Backstory to it all In a far away kingdom there was an incompetent king and thus had many enemies who wished his death. The King had a wife which he loved dearly but during an assassination attempt on his life his wife took a hit for him and was poisoned and killed. The king mad with grief started a frantic search for means to revive his beloved queen, eventually he finds possible clues to achieve this. He finds a place that has healing waters, this place was an island that was occupied by a sect of mages who searched for powerful artifacts and hid them away on that island so that no one can misuse them. The king goes to this place where a Warden betrays the sect and leads the king to the healing waters where the king submurged the body of the queen and performed a magical ritual. The ritual kind of succeeds the queen does revive but as an undead wraith at the horror at what she has become and what her king has done she takes his sword and pierces him through the heart the ritual goes disarray and start reacting with the countless artifacts on the island and goes out of control which creates a cataclysmic event known as "The Ruination" From The Ruination a Black Mist appears that corrupts everything that lives in to horrible wraith like creatures as well as raising evil spirits. One such wraith is Thresh (green demon with chain and lantern) who was once the traitor mage who led the king to the healing waters From that Island originated an order called the Sentinels of Light who specialized in hunting and destroying evil spirits Lucian (duel pistol wielding guy) and Senna (lady from the lantern) were members of the sentinels who went wherever the black mist appeared in the world to destroy the spirits that would spawn from it. On one such expedition they met Thresh after a battle Thresh manages to kill Senna and trap her soul in the lantern. Lucian vows to avange his love Senna and grant her peace and freedom from the lantern, and Senna(soul) realizes that she can learn to control the mist to her own ends so she binds her time in lantern waiting for an opportunity to escape. When Lucian stabs the lantern with his broken pistol Senna manages to escape but she is neither alive nor dead (possibly and most likely a Wraith) but she can control the mist and it seems the she has a different type of mist than the one that Thresh has. Thresh is empowered by the Black Mist while Senna's appears to be Gray-ish, we later learn that hers is called "Hallowed Mist" Theres a lot more to the story but a lot of it is very spoilery so I didnt mention it The Red head is a Pirate Captain named Miss Fortune and her name is a play on words because you can read it as misfortune (as in bad luck)
Not much I can add that hasn’t already been explained. I just wanted to point out hat the redhead in the water in the Climb video is Miss Fortune, or Sarah Fortune, as she has just had her ship sunk by the great leviathan of the sea, Nagakabouros, who is most likely following the directions of Her priestess, Illaoi. To add a bit more context, Illaoi is in some sort of partnership with the pirate Gangplank after Fortune sunk his ship and supposedly killed him. Illaoi restored his lost arm and brought him back. Miss Fortune herself is a pirate hunter, and went after Gangplank as revenge for killing her mother. There is so much good lore it’s insane, and not easy to keep track of it all. Love your reactions btw, always a blast to watch!
IDK if anyone answered it already, but the redhead is Sarah Fortune(Miss Fortune in game). She's a ship captain, bounty hunter, and leader of the country Bilgewater.
I'd like to attract attention on my preferred moment of the "shadow's embrace" cinematic. It's just after Senna (the woman) protected Lucian (the man). At this moment her shot (which is actually one of her ability in game) kinda used all her newly gained power and she is exhausted and accepting her fate as she managed to save Lucian from their nemesis (Thresh, the green chain-handler guy). The mist is getting back to the lantern and so will her soul do until the very moment Lucian intervenes using his dash ability (which exists in game too) and hugs her, not sure he knows at this moment if they will stay in the living world or will both get trapped in Thresh's lantern, pretty sure he just don't want to let her go anywhere without him... and that's so beautiful to me ;_; Always gives me the cill Also whay was very huge with this video is that Senna was a "non-champion" just mentionned in Lucian's history, and the video was a teaser for her release in the game... 10 years anniversary gift from riot games.

The redhead is probably Miss Fortune of Bilgewater. She is effectively the Pirate Queen who rose to power first by getting her revenge on the pirate Gangplank for killing her parents. Her hair is actually blonde, but it was forever stained red by her blood when Gangplank had left her for dead.
Oh nice. We had heard about Miss Fortune but don’t think we heard or at least we have since forgotten that her hair is red because it was stained from blood. Interesting 😃
Very interesting to see someone call those cinematics higher quality. Light and Shadow is extremely confusing to most and since it is the 3rd part of a skin cinematic line it's even a stranger pick. But Phoenix I feel like is one of Riots most forgettable considering Rise is so much more popular for championship cinematics. And Light Within is perhaps the most baffeling suggestion since it is not only also a niche skin cinematic, but it's an art project more than anything. From what I've seen of previous cinematic reactions, your cinematic collection here is way less popular than cinematics like Awaken and Warriors. It is very interesting to see that league has so many cinematics at this point that different groups have huddled around certain preferences.
The underwater redhead was Miss Fortune (pirate), Lucian (with those pistols), Yasuo (fighter with flute), Ekko (fighter with a shining sword), Senna (Girl emerging from the black mist with a rifle), Tresh (ghost with a lantern)
Brief explanation of this triplet of trailers: "The Climb" was originally intended to symbolize a player's ascension through the various tiers of play in League of Legends, from Iron to Platinum to Diamond to Challenger. However, when Riot decided to add the character Senna to the game, the final scene of The Climb was retroactively turned into part of Senna's storyline. The basic story of Senna is that she was a light sentinel and wife of Lucian, but she was killed and her soul imprisoned in Thresh's lantern (Lucian and Thresh are the two characters who are fighting in Shadow's Embrace). Lucian manages to free Senna, but rather than liberating her soul to travel to the hereafter, Senna instead revives as a semi-undead ghost (it's implied in-game through Viego's voicelines that this may have something to do with Isolde, a major character in the ongoing "ruination" storyline). As for how Senna performs in-game, she's kind of in a weird spot at the moment. The major item rework last December left her without any major build options (in particular, she didn't synergize well with either Galeforce, Immortal Shieldbow, or Kraken Slayer, which were the three main items intended for her class, nor were the support items very good on her). As such, she's primarily been using a Kraken Slayer-centric build with items like Guinsoo's Rageblade, but the problem is she has such a limited gold income because she's a support that the build takes too long to come online. This resulted in several players trying a tank build on Senna with items like Frostfire Gauntlet, which are cheaper than the dedicated damage items, but that build was pretty quickly nerfed into the ground on the most recent patch.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I've observed that a common trend among champions that aren't popular is that there's a problem with their abilities or their items aren't very good: Senna's a case of the latter, hence some people trying the tank Senna build. Riot tends to be pretty quick about nerfing damage-focused characters who build tank because that's when these characters tend to become overpowered. We saw this with how they handled frozen mallet/phantom dancer Yasuo, the tank Ekko build, and most recently, the full tank Sett build. The thing I don't like about tank builds getting nerfed is when a damage champion builds tank, it's usually for a very good reason. For example, Lissandra built tankier than most mages because she needed that extra bulk to survive in the middle of a fight, where she was at her strongest. However, Riot repeatedly nerfed the tank build by lowering her base damage, but giving her high damage scaling to encourage her to buy AP damage items like Luden's Echo and Rabadon's Deathcap. However, all this did was put Lissandra players in a catch-22 where if they built tank, their damage fell off late game, but if they built full damage, they would never survive a fight. The final nail in the coffin for Lissandra came late last year during the season 11 item rework: several of tank Lissandra's key items were removed, namely Rod of Ages, and a proper replacement was never added. Lissandra has several problems besides just not having good items, namely that she's too slow, having low damage for a burst mage, or being more sensitive to game changes due to her dependency on items, but the removal of RoA in the preseason was the one that really hurt her viability.
The red head was misfortune, the giant steam Golem is blitzcrank, the time guy hopping from the guys with blitzcrank was ekko, the guy with the flute and all the flying arrows behind him thats Yasuo, the demon guy in green was Thresh, the ebony couple is Lucian (male) and his wife Senna (female) and the stone weaver Taliyah.
You guys should really watch Legends of Runeterra cinematics!!! It really fleshes out some of these characters. There's one for Thresh and the island Lucian is in right now called "none escape" The series has the same characters and lore but different game (card game like Hearthstone or MTG)

League has over 150 different characters, and despite many never featuring in cinematics or trailers, most have decently unique casts. This sexy redhead was Miss Fortune, she'll be in a couple other trailers for League adjacent games like Legends of Runterra and Ruined King. Runterra has amazing cinematics that definitely are worth checking out and Ruined King's trailer is pretty cool...
These were the some of the last lore cinematics that dont have actual dialogue, which in future will answer some questions you have during your reactions. Ruination you'll probably get a better idea but i truly think the most special cinematics would be Riot's legends of runterra series. The dialogie and short story arcs are clear and tell a great stort. The Kin of the Stained Blade cinematic is probably the best story telling one we've had so far. Can not wait to see you two react to it when it comes.
Green demon guy is Thresh, and he killed the gun guy’s (Lucian) wife (Senna) and he traps souls in his lantern. Redhead is “Miss Fortune” aka Sarah Fortune. She’s a pirate that made a name for herself and basically is the best pirate around. Green tentacles were from Illaoi (Ill-ow-ee), the kraken priestess. I don’t know much about her lore. The girl in the last video is Senna, who is Lucian’s wife that was killed/trapped in thresh’s lantern and escaped when Lucian stabbed it. Her gun is a combo of light and dark-dark hurting enemies and light protecting allies. When she shot Lucian, she shielded him. The shot also hit thresh and knocked him back. Big hulkbuster guy was Blitzcrank, and I don’t know much about him either, time guy with the blue club is Ekko, and he is part of a mischievous crew in Zaun (the super toxic city with chemical crap everywhere and stuff like that) that made a device that lets him go back in time a short period, and manipulate the flow of time to an extent.

Ruination is about Viego. The website does a great breakdown of who Viego is. "Once ruler of a long-lost kingdom, Viego perished over a thousand years ago when his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead triggered the magical catastrophe known as the Ruination. Transformed into a powerful, unliving wraith tortured by an obsessive longing for his centuries-dead queen, Viego now stands as the Ruined King, controlling the deadly Harrowings as he scours Runeterra for anything that might one day restore her, and destroying all in his path as the Black Mist pours endlessly from his cruel, broken heart." The soul of his queen is within Senna (like, living inside her) and can speak to Senna. Thats also why Senna thought she was cursed, because wherever she went, the Black Mist followed. But it wasn't a curse, it was because of the queen residing within her and Viego wanting his queen back. That is where Ruination will pick up. Makes it better to watch when you know. :) Cheers

It's more about the Shadow Isles than the actual Ruination event and Storyline (so far, i'm dying to see what will happen ton Kalista, Yorick and the Other Shadow Isles character), but yes, maybe these one should be watched before "Ruination", to make sure they understand the whole picture.
Okey Guys first things first The guy with the two guns and the white outfit is Lucian he is from Demacia and he is also from the Light Sentinels an Order created to defeat the Mist, a magical and evil force that is commanded by the Ruined King, and that demonic big guy is Thresh "The Jailman" and he is one of the most know demons in Helia or more common known the Shadow Isles, he has in his latern a lot of trapped souls but the on important her is Senna, Lucian´s wife and also a Light Sentinel, she was captured be Thresh a long time ago and Lucian has been searching for her since then, and Senna is of course the woman with the gigant gun that appears and helps Lucian, also at the end you see that someone grabs Thresh´s latern well, that is Thresh himself escaping. Second, the guy that is chilling playing his Flute that is Yasuo "The Unforgiven", brother to Yone (He kills Yone by the way) and pupil to Souma (who he lets alone and is killed in an accident) Third, that redhead is Miss Fortune, Captain of The Siren, and she is from Bilgewater (is like Turtle from Pirates of the Carribean but more danger and less rum), what "attacks" someone say that is Nautilus "The Titan from the Deep" since she didnt paid the tribute to pass the sea of the guardian, other say that is Illaoi "The Priestess of the Buruu", that is making her go through the test of Nagakabouros the sea god of the Buruu. Fourth the girl with the brown hair that is literally surfing in the sand is Taliyah, she is from Shurima and in her stay at Jonia she was trained by Yasuo the guy i talked you earlier, she has the power to control the earth and the thing that is attacking her is the Ascended being Xerath (tecnichaly he is not an ascended he is something else like he stoled the power that was goig to be for Azir the Emperor of Shurima). And Fifth the boy with the white mowhack is Ekko, he is from Zaun that is below Piltover the city of Progress, and he created the Z-Pulsar is that thing that he carries in his back that it lets him control time in a way and he also can rewind his own time like we walk two meter well he han press his watch an return to the beginning point, the robot that appears and helps him that is Blitzcrank he is an automanton created by Victor and his ai evolded to a point that he has some sort of feelings and emotions.
So, the redheaded chick is called Miss Fortune. She's a pirate from the lake city of Bilgewater, which is close to the Shadow Islands where the black mist from Ruination comes from, you will see when you check that out. If you're watching several things at once then I suggest you watch next Fiddlesticks' videos, both the champion theme and the "Terror of Demacia" trailer. Better not watch it at night.

Since theres so many league cinematics (main game cinematics, champion trailers, music videos and even very good runeterra cinematics) id love to see a longer video from you guys where you watch a multiple, otherwise this will be a long series of videos
So, quickly : - Lucian and Senna are lovers, not sure if they are married but she's regularly refered to as Lucian's wife, so. - They are Light Sentinels, a guild that uses light magic to bane the creatures of the Dark Mist. - Senna's Soul as previously been captured by Thresh in his Lantern. Lucian tracks him down to free her. - When Lucian destroyed (temporarily) the Lantern, Senna's soul wasn't just released, she was revived (her previous body was left to rot where she died as Lucian was forced to flee). - Senna is now back, but altered by the Mist, which now powers her too. - As Light Sentinels, they will now keep chasing the Mist to put an end to it, someway. - The Ruination video follows these ones, explaining more about what is the Black Mist, also called the Ruination, where does it come from (except the general location of the Shadow Isles) and why. For the other character of the second video, they are : - Yasuo, a Ionian warrior whose blade commands the wind. - Talyiah, a Shurimian girl with geomancy - Ekko, the boy who shatters time, and Blitzcrank, fighting in there native city of Zaun against some mobsters - Miss Fortune, a pirate girl from Bilgewater, that will likely meet the almighty Nagakabouros (also known as the Bearded Lady), an ancient octopus-god of the Deep, and her priestess, Illaoi (that you can see in the "Ruined King" trailer, wich should be watched after the Ruination video, to go a bit further on this story). You can also watch "Made with love", (after "Ruination" and "Ruined King")wich is another piece of this puzzling storyline. And so you have the information, the Ruination Event is planned to begin on every game of this universe (Runeterra) on July 14th. So you can expect new videos around this time.
Skimming around, I don't think anyone's touched on Thresh specifically, only his relation to Lucian and Senna, and I think some general backstory would benefit for when you get to the Ruination cinematic. Long ago the Shadow Isles (where Lucian and Thresh's battle takes place) were known as the Blessed Isles and were considerably more normal and peaceful lmao. Thresh originated here, and was a sort of magical custodian of an underground vault filled with dangerous artifacts. Thresh was bitter about this, feeling that he had been put here to keep him away from others, because even when he was alive he was.... a rather cruel man. At some point an army from a far off kingdom arrived, with their king, Viego. There is a lot to touch on for Viego but that's best saved for after the Ruination cinematic, but essentially what Viego does at the Blessed Isles causes a catastrophic chain of events, destroying the Isles and turning them into the haunting Shadow Isles they're known as now. This event is known as the Ruination, and is also what transforms Thresh into his current form, which he gladly embraced. The Ruination is the origin of the Black Mist, which is closely connected to Viego himself and will... also get touched on after the Ruination cinematic. Those that die in the Mist though are forever cursed, and each year since the Ruination, the Mist at times extends from the Shadow Isles into other regions of Runeterra, in an event called the Harrowing. Anyone killed during the Harrowing is also forever cursed, their souls dragged along with the Black Mist when it returns to the Shadow Isles. That aside... "I wanna know who the redhead was" NOW you've truly summoned me, as already pointed out, that was Miss Fortune! Her full name is Sarah Fortune but goes by Miss Fortune for exactly why you think. I mentioned before she's one of my favs so I hope you are ready for this comment to get way long. Sarah's mother, Abigale, was a well-known gunsmith, Fortune made firearms being quite coveted. One day a man by the name of Gangplank arrived and demanded an exquisite pair of Fortune pistols, to which Sarah's mother reluctantly agreed to. A year later Gangplank returned for the pistols, having no intent to pay for them. Abigale asserted that the pistols she had crafted were too fine for someone like Gangplank, and enraged, he took the pistols, gunned down the entire family with them, smashed the pistols, and set the workshop on fire. Sarah, just a child at this time, barely survived, and escaped from the workshop with the remains of her mother's pistols. While she healed, she never quite got over the trauma of the event, as nightmares followed her into adulthood. She was determined to have vengeance though, and everything she did from that point forward was working herself to eventually face Gangplank. She rebuilt her mother's pistols and learned everything she could about Gangplank, who had since become basically the pirate king of Bilgewater. Sarah spent years taking on bounties and earning her reputation as "Miss Fortune," took a ship named the Syren, and slowly gathered together a small but loyal force of allies and finally made a move against Gangplank, blowing his ship to pieces in front of all of Bilgewater (there is a whole story in itself to this part but that involves some other characters). With Gangplank out of the picture, rival captains immediately started fighting amongst themselves for control of Bilgewater, catching civilians in the middle of the power scuffle, and Sarah stepped forward to assume control. Definitely not something she particularly wanted to do, but it was better than pirates tearing the city to pieces. UNFORTUNATELY Gangplank didn't really die, but when this event took place in 2015, Gangplank was disabled in the game for a bit because he was "dead," which I still find infinitely funny. A fun fact, Miss Fortune is connected to Lucian! After taking down Gangplank and assuming control of Bilgewater, the two meet up as Lucian is hunting down Thresh and winds up in Bilgewater as a Harrowing starts. Due to Bilgewater being the closest to the Shadow Isles, it tends to get hammered frequently by the Harrowing. Lucian comes in to assist when Hecarim (a spectral centaur, he is connected to Viego's story) corners Miss Fortune and her crew. Thresh makes an appearance as well, though Lucian fights him alone as Sarah goes a different path, pursued by Hecarim. I'm pretty certain Sarah's connection to Lucian here is why she's a main character for the upcoming Ruined King game (which is also why I suggested Kin of the Stained Blade and the Ruined King trailer after Ruination). These events didn't have cinematics, as they were told through short stories, but the links for them are still live on the League site if you'd like to read them!

I think the others are already explained in the comments so I'll just mention the red head in the ocean you wondered about. Her name is Sarah Fortune but shes known as Miss Fortune, shes kind of like a pirate princess. She has alot of history with that cigar guy with the big shotgun from the other cinematic. She appears in a couple other cinematics with her double flint lock pistols. Her story is pretty cool. Generally she is famous for standing out so much amongst the other captains since they're generally big hairy dudes with missing teeth and whatever pirate trope you can think of, many are literally fish-people. But she is very involved with a story that the players actually voted for back in the day when they reworked another pirate champion called Gangplank. Gangplank was kind of the King of the pirates and he had a sort of war with Miss Fortune because she wanted revenge for her parents which he killed many years before. The players ultimately voted that he would lose the war which ended with him losing an arm and Miss Fortune getting a Captain skin in the game. She will also be one of the main characters in an upcoming turn based league of legends story game based on the story of Ruination. Briefly about the others aswell. Yasuo is the blue ninja guy who had all the arrows shot at him. He's very edgy and popular. His story is an anime backstory involving his brother whom he killed because his older brother was hunting him along with everyone else because they believed Yasuo killed their master. They were kind of ninja samurai wind magic monks. One of his abilities in the game is a wall of wind which literally blocks everything shot at it, so thats why he dealt with the arrows so easily. The stone bender girl is Taliyah, shes like an earth bender from Avatar. I don't really know her story that well, she was lost and stuff but then she met Yasuo whom taught her some motivating things so now shes doing something. Lol. The time manipulating kid is Ekko. He has a device that can stop time in a bubble for a few seconds and he can even go back in time a few seconds. He lives in Zaun which is the technologically advanced steampunk underbelly of Piltover, an even more technologicall advanced city on top of Zaun. Down in Zaun all the toxic waste goes, it's full of chemical mafias and cults and lost rambling robots. Jinx and Vi are two other champion from there and the upcoming league Netflix show will be about them. The golden robot who helps Ekko is also a playable champion. Not much else to say about that.
You guys need to watch all of the League of Legends Star Guardian cinematics! It’s very reminiscent of Sailor Moon if you’re familiar with that. The order goes as: Burning Bright -> A New Horizon -> Light and Shadow
Just a break down of the first trailer "Climb", rest is already explained. In order of trailer. The first is Yasuo, you seen him before, what blocked those arrow was his windwall. Next was Taliyah a Earth mage, She trying to make her way to Xerath (which you do not see, but see this attacks the blue blast coming from the distance). The Mohawk Kid is Ekko, he can control time slightly for a few secs. if not minutes. The other was Blitzcrank, a Robot invented and self-aware. They can grab and pull with their grappling hands, and they build up energy and release it causing a huge blast around themselves. Ekko as he was falling was trying to reset time to where he was on the platform before. The redhead was Miss Fortune, a Pirate Captain and tied to several others in the game (ie: Gangplank and Illaoi) and part of the Bilgewater region. She looks as though trapped underwater at the Shadow Isle, (assuming she brought Lucian there).

If I'm correct, The Climb was just a promo video for ranked or something, and not much was related to the lore (or so it seems at the time), same as the Awaken video, all just flashy stuff for game promo, but after a while Riot started to make more lore accurate content and thus Warriors is more accurate lore wise, and they have set off to make most if not all previously released cinematics and videos canon by writing more stories to connect them all either making it past lore or future lore Great video btw, love to see people reacting to the game I love/hate 🤣
I like this idea. Keep up with the 3 cinematics. There are so many videos anyways. They even have music videos. I would recommend "Varus As I Fall" or Amumu Curse of the Sad Mummy. Both great video showing the background of 2 champions.

The ghost like creature was Thresh. He was living a island named Blessed Islands. He is a jailor for artifacts in Blessed Islands. (He is also a sadist.) When The Ruined King a.k.a. Viego came to Blessed Islands to ressurect his wife Isolde. The people are refused to ressurect his wife. Then Viego ordered to kill everyone in the island. One of his generals Kalista refused to do that and Hecarim (The other general of him.) stabbed her with his spear. Then centuries later. She became the spear of vengeance. But that is a another story. When Viego came across with Thresh said he can help him. Viego and Thresh came to the room with artifacts. There was a water can ressurect someone. When they dropped Isolde's body into the magic water a explotion began. The black mist surround everywhere in Blessed Islands. Every living became a wraith like creature. The guy with two guns is Lucian. He is Thresh's enemy. Thresh stole Lucian's wife Senna's soul. That is why they are fighting in the trailer.
Hey, nice Reaction again. i really love it :D So here i'm back with some infos for you ^^ First for your last Questions: yes there are a lot of Champions in the Game. We have over 150 different Champions in League ^^ (155 if i'm correct right now) So let's start :D So yeah u have some really good guesses. You are right that the Lantern of the "Demon" Guy collects Souls. The Guy you see with the 2 Handcannons is called Lucian. The Woman trapped inside the Lantern and later rescued by him is his Wife Senna. btw. Booth there Weapons (his 2 handcannons and her big cannon) are made from the same Stone. The "Demon" himself is called Thresh. Once in the time of Runeterra a tragic event took place in a region called Blessed Isles. An unprecedented magical cataclysm left the barrier between the material and spirit realms in tatters, effectively merging the two… and dooming all living things in an instant. That's how the Shadow Isles appeared. Thresh is one of the souls merged with the undead realm becoming an Soul collecting Reaper. Before that he was a sadistic Jailer who had much fun with torturing prisoners. Lucian and Senna were Hunters of undying Spirits. They travelled through the lands to fight the Beings that emerged from the Shadow isles. Once Thresh appeared as their Enemy. He tricked them somehow and captured Sennas Soul in his Lantern. Lucian lost everything in that moment. He swore to hunt Thresh down, who now became his biggest Enemy. What happened when he got to Thresh you see in the Videos. So now let's go over the other characters. First other Character we see is the Guy with the flute under the Arrows. This is Yasuo. A Ninja fighting with a Katana and the Ability to control the Wind. You can see him creating a Wind Wall to deflect all the incoming Arrows. He is from Ionia and a true Master of the Wind. You will see him in a few other cinematics too. Then i will tell more about him. ^^ Especially in this one: Kin of the Stained Blade | Spirit Blossom 2020 Cinematic - League of Legends Next we see Taliyah. The Girl in the Desert of Shurima riding on a Rock over Sand. She is a Mage and if you watched the Avatar series than you can see her as an Earthbender. She can Control and form the Earth. Not much is known about her. She was traveling the World but needed too come back to save her tribe. Cause in Shurima some things are changing. You will see more about what exactly is changing in Shurima by watching Shurima: Descent into the Tomb | Cinematic - League of Legends (and than) Shurima: Rise of the Ascended | Cinematic - League of Legends (in that order ^^) Next we switch over to Zhaun seeing Ekko. Zaun is like the Slums in our big citys. It is the under town of the big City called Piltover. So normally People call the City/Region Piltover & Zaun cause booth City parts need each other. in Piltover everything needs to be clean and orderd while in Zaun everyone simply does what he can to live. The Region itself is known for having the biggest Researching Facilitys. Most technical stuff was invented here either in Zaun or Piltover. From Piltover come the more clean Inventions that we call Hextech. While in Zaun there are some really crazy Scientists with more dirty approaches and even testing on human beings to change there appearence. Ekko is a guy who is living in Zhaun fighting for keeping alive everyday. You will see more of him in: Ekko: Seconds | New Champion Teaser - League of Legends So next we see a Robot grabbing some People. This is Blitzcrank. He was created to descend into the most caustic and dangerous of environments in Zaun to dispose of harmful waste. But it has evolved beyond there programming. Now Blitzcrank walks the streets of Zaun in a tireless effort to improve the undercity and give aid to those in need. Next switch when Ekko falls is to Bilgewater the Pirate Region. We see a red haired Woman in the Water. As you guessed right this is not Katarina. This is Miss (Sarah) Fortune and she is a Captain. As a child, she witnessed the reaver king Gangplank murder her family-an act she brutally avenged years later, blowing up his flagship while he was still aboard. At the End when she swims up she tries to grab her handgun. So yeah she is a Ranged Ad carry . No Assassin like Katarina ^^ Next we are back in the Shadow Isles as Lucian fighting our way up to Thresh to rescue our Wife. He gets it done and we after all this Years (Thresh & Lucian came out in 2013 Senna in 2019) have Senna back. Senna herself was so long in the Lantern that she got some power to control the Black Mist. Cause she never believed that Lucian was not rescueing her She trained in there as hard as she could. So now she came out Stronger than before. That's why her Eyes glow even more green sometimes. It's her using the new found power. Fun Fact: In League of Legends (Game) you can build Life Steal. As many, many people have probably told you by now, League has a pretty interesting and fun series of cinematics. Even if you do not play the game, you can still appreciate the trailers and enjoy them quite a bit! Not sure if you mentioned this before, but League Of Legends is getting a TV Show on Netflix so maybe check it out!
Yes we love these cinematics even not knowing the characters or what is going on really. It is just really well made and we probably won’t play the game because it doesn’t sound like our type of game. But the series we plan to check out on Netflix 😁
Oh Magneto is definetly a full time villain beyond return by now. Maybe not a totaly evil person at heart and definetly not from the start, but that's the tragic irony of his character. He was percecuted by the nazis as a jew and feared for mutants to face the same fate. As time went on and his bitterness and resentment grew, he himself slowly became the evil he fought without even noticing. He is murdering innocent people, even children, because they are not mutants (even mutants who oppose him, like the Nazis murdered Germans who didn't join the cause, labeling them as traitors to their race). He has no compassion or mercy for those he deems as no part of the small group he claims to protect. Thinking that any cause, no matter how noble it might seem, could justify such evil is villain material, he's not a hero and not an anti hero. That's the message by the way, and a frightening one in this point in time. The same goes for Sylas btw. He's not a hero, he is a resentfull person plotting destruction and revenge at any cost for innocent people and even his own followers. They are both exelent characters, but they are examples of whom NOT to follow. Just wanted to get this of my chest. The meaning of heroes and villains has been represented poorly lately, both in comics and in those Disney+ live action Marvel series. It's not the lable imprinted by the author, that makes the character either hero or villain, good or evil, but their actions in combination with their motives. That's why I like where the league of legends lore is going right now. There has been a shift in tone in the last few years and unlike many other franchises they still have their values spot on. In the beginning there were human factions labled as good and bad. Demacians were just heroes and Noxians were just villains. They improved that concept by mixing opressive elements into the Demacian culture and government and giving Noxus an individualistic state for the people touch (not socialism, more like french revolution with a roman flavor). They greyed out the human factions and characters, but there are still pure forces of good and evil at work in runeterra. The Ionians living in harmony with nature, the spirits and the magic of their land are definetly something good. The enemies of life and existence itself, like the void, the ruination and the darkin, are definetly evil. Also there are purely neutral forces of nature or the cosmos, like Bard, Kindred and Ivern. Now this is an actual story being told with purpose, values and meaning.
The woman is Senna and the guy is Lucian, they are lovers and soulmates. A long time ago, Thresh (The demon) killed Senna and took her soul in his lantern. Since then Lucian has been on a one-track mission to rescue Senna's soul, he never thinks he will see her alive again, he just doesn't want her to suffer eternally in the lantern. In the last video when Lucian breaks Senna out of the lantern she immediately protects him when she shoots at him, if you watch it again you'll see she deflected the hook that was coming from Thresh who was standing behind Lucian. The thing with Lucian and Senna is - They are keepers of 'the light' or 'sentinels' and they hunt down creatures of the underworld (such as Thresh). Senna is no longer a Sentinel and she no longer follows the light. The lantern has corrupted her and she now uses the powers that Thresh accidentally gave her, making her the very thing that she swore to destroy. This presents herself and Lucian with a very obvious moral dilemma. For now, Senna is using her borrowed power to help Lucian destroy the underworld creatures with their own foul magics. Their story is fascinating and it's definitely the best story in League of Legends.
The girl who has a red hair and wears a pirate costume is Miss Fortune. Her mother was killed by Gangplank who was a crime lord of Bilgewater. Miss Fortune became a pirate to take revenge from Gangplank. She made a plan and blow away his ship and himself. (But Gangplank returned as injured.) Then she became leader of Bilgewater. The man with a blue outfit was Yasuo. His duty was protect his school's master. One day Noxus empire strike Ionia (Yasuo's homeland.) Everyone go to war. Yasuo wanted to join the war but the others said "Finish you duty." We will defend Ionia. But Yasuo didn't listen and he left the school. When the war is over. The master died. Everyone thought Yasuo killed the master. But he didn't. After so many days he come across with his older brother Yone. They fought each other. At the end Yasuo have to do kill Yone. (But the story doesn't ends here.) The girl with brown outfit was Taliyah. She is Yasuo's student. He helped Taliyah to control her rock powers. The white haired boy was Ekko. He can control time with a gadget. He lives a city named Zaun. Opposite city of Piltover.

The girl with earth surfing abilities is Thaliyah she’s basically an earth bender lol. The mechanical hulk buster dude is Blitzcrank I’m pretty sure he was built in piltover that’s all I remember. The boy with him is Ekko he has time travel powers The guy that duel wields light pistols is Lucian he’s a hunter of the undead. The undead demon dude is thresh he’s from the shadow isles which is a whole lore thing itself. The girl that was released is Senna who is lucians wife she was trapped by thresh for years and only recently got freed she’s def a good guy lol The red head who was trying to swim away from the tentacle thing is miss fortune she’s from bilgewater basically a pirate outcove Oh and I def recommend a twist of fate if you haven’t already watched it
You've to undesratand dou, Lucian has been a playable characters for years, what's more. The Senna hostage situation with Tresh has being part of his lore all his life, suddenly having his Wife being a champion made a lot of people lose their shit. It also kick-started the most recent event within LOL, with hos Senna was able to scape Tresh's lanter and her relationship with the shadow isle.

So, I have not seen a good lore summery for you guys here, so I thought I would write one. I want to start with a caveat that all this is to my best knowledge and interpretation, so if I am wrong about something feel free to let me know! Now, with those caveats out of the way, lets begin! Dark Passage: Introduces us to Lucian and Thresh. Thresh has killed Lucian’s wife Senna. He says “It ends now” to make it clear that he is going to either save Senna from Thresh’s lantern or die trying. The Climb: This story takes us all around Runeterra and introduces us to a lot of champions. There is going to be a lot of lore for these characters that I will skip over, just giving enough to get to know who they are and what is happening. We start off here by introducing Yasuo, a disgrace swordsman from Ionia with power over wind (thus the wind wall, an actual move in the game to block projectiles). Next, we see Taliyah, a mage with power over stone. Yasuo was actually her teacher, and her parting gift to him is the hair tie he uses. After that, we are in Zaun, one of the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun. Piltover is a beacon of progress up on the surface, producing marvels of science. Where as Zaun is stuck underneath Piltover, choking on the fumes of the of the factories and starved of light. Here we meet echo, and genus inventor who has discovered how to manipulate time and use jumping through it to his advantage (like you see him trying to do when he is falling). You see his afterimage here, that he can use to delay his grenade toss and jump back to it if he gets in trouble (all based on abilities he has in game). We also meet Blitzcrank here. Blitz is a massive steam golem (so not a suit) that has evolved to be sentient and uses his strength to help those in need. Blitz typically covers the support role in game, so when you said nice assist, that is basically his roll in game XD Next, we meet Miss Fortune (not kat XD), a famed pirate captain who has just had her ship brought down by the great kraken, Nagakabouros. She is fighting to get her signature hand cannons back so she can survive. Now we are back on the Shadow Isles, a portion of Runeterra taken over by the dead, and see Lucian fighting his way through the shadows to get to Thresh, and hopefully save Senna. Senna Shadow’s Embrace: Now this is the big one! We get to see Lucian fighting Thresh. Thresh is a creature that loves to torture and play with his victims before ripping their soul from their body and trapping them for all eternity in his lantern, so definitely about as evil as characters can get in LOL. Senna was one of those victims. Lucian manages to temporarily crack the lantern and free the souls for a little bit. Senna, who has been fighting the corruption of the lamp from the inside this entire time is released. While inside the lamp she has not only strengthened the strength of her light weapons but also gained some measure of control over the shadows and can use them in a yin and yang type of balance. She used that massive gun to not only heal Lucian from his battle with Thresh, but also to deal damage to thresh and keep him away from Lucian (this is verry similar to how you play Senna in game, with your main ability damaging enemies and healing your allies). In the end, when all the shadows are getting pulled back into the lamp, they both don’t know if she is going to be pulled back in or if she can stay, but they are both going to hold on tight and they will not be separated again. At the very end we see that Thresh is not gone for good, and will be back! I hope this helped, and if you have any more questions (or corrections) feel free to drop a comment below!!

RUINATION IS NEEXXXT! One of their most most interesting cinematics! Now we're finally getting a look at story, ever so slim as that peek is! Lucian lost Senna as his introductive backstory, these cinematics were months to years apart each, and Senna being made a playable character in the last cinematic got me more emotional than most of the other aspects of this lore, I care so much about them. Also give her a break, she was literally in a personally crafted purgatory from Skele-guy Thresh, she'll recover, but if anyone escapes Hell they're not gonna be instantly happy, that trauma travels with you XD ...Also, Beth, your lipstick is Poppin. I keep meaning to mention it ^_^
senna and Lucian (the one in the trailer) has the emotional couple vibes, while Rakan and xayah was more of a wholesome and comedic one, at least that's what I thought
I feel like you guys didn't get the best recommendation for League of Legends trailers. There are some insanely good ones! Check out Rise, Awaken and Popstars! Those are easily some of the best ones they've ever done.

Senna (black chick) doesn't attack Lucian(black dude). She uses her ultimate which does 2 things... it shields allies and damages enemies =) the light shields Lucian from Thresh's (demon) hook, then the black part damages Thresh. Also Senna is Lucian's wife.

Thresh the evil guy, once a battle with lucian and senna (they are wife and husbands) but thresh get the soul of his wife, so he travel where thresh is, so you see the battle began and senna get released to the lamp
Senna is trapped in a state between life and death. Thresh killed her years ago but her soul persisted in his lantern. She's a lot like Sylvanas from WoW to make it simple.

And btw she isn't bad, in the trailer you can see that when she fires the gun she is actually protecting Lucian (the guy with the pistols) from Thresh's hook.

Yeah, there isn’t much to say about torturing souls for eternity just because Thresh likes it. That’s some pretty “bad guy” stuff lol.
The Climb cinematic came out almost a year BEFORE Senna's release. We all thought it was like the other short story snippets in Climb. But Riot had planned ahead. So Lucian, the man with two guns that shoot light is a light sentinel. Him and his wife, Senna, are both light sentinels. They fight with the darkness and the Black Mist of the Shadow Isles. The chain warden, Thresh was a cruel man before ruination and now he hunts and collects souls of the innocent to torture inside his lantern. While he tortures Senna's soul inside he also taunts and emotionally tortures Lucian knowing there is no way Senna could escape. Senna learned to use the darkness as well as the light inside the lantern and now she fights the darkness with both. She is still basically a soul manifested a body made of black mist and nothing more. She is one of the coolest champions in a long time.

I started playing League right about when Lucian first came out. Mid summer 2013. I got acquainted with his and Senna's story immediately. His quest to save her, or at the very least exact revenge. It was a story thread for six years. Six years of Lucians suicidal mission to the depths of the Shadow Isles to do the impossible and defeat Thresh in the heart of the most dangerous place on the planet. I'm certain he expected that to be a one-way trip. But not only did he survive the journey, he managed to best Thresh, too. And the most impossible outcome happened too- Senna was freed. She was intact enough, even, to be able to have a second chance at life. Shadow's Embrace still makes me emotional, no matter how many times I see it.
The Ruination thing that came later happened extremely quickly, by comparison, and didn't have anything CLOSE to the weight Senna's arrival did. I'll say it again. SIX. YEARS. Of hoping this crazy man could save his love from the jaws of death- no- eternal torment. This was the payoff everyone hoped for but nobody expected.

5:44 my eyes always and ALWAYS fill with tears when I see Lucian saving Senna. I've seen this cinematic more than 10 times, in various reacts, but I still feel the weight of the emotions that Lucian carried for so long.

The King had a wife which he loved dearly but during an assassination attempt on his life his wife took a hit for him and was poisoned and killed. The king mad with grief started a frantic search for means to revive his beloved queen, eventually he finds possible clues to achieve this. He finds a place that has healing waters, this place was an island that was occupied by a sect of mages who searched for powerful artifacts and hid them away on that island so that no one can misuse them. The king goes to this place where a Warden betrays the sect and leads the king to the healing waters where the king submurged the body of the queen and performed a magical ritual. The ritual kind of succeeds the queen does revive but as an undead wraith at the horror at what she has become and what her king has done she takes his sword and pierces him through the heart the ritual goes disarray and start reacting with the countless artifacts on the island and goes out of control which creates a cataclysmic event known as "The Ruination"
From The Ruination a Black Mist appears that corrupts everything that lives in to horrible wraith like creatures as well as raising evil spirits. One such wraith is Thresh (green demon with chain and lantern) who was once the traitor mage who led the king to the healing waters
From that Island originated an order called the Sentinels of Light who specialized in hunting and destroying evil spirits Lucian (duel pistol wielding guy) and Senna (lady from the lantern) were members of the sentinels who went wherever the black mist appeared in the world to destroy the spirits that would spawn from it. On one such expedition they met Thresh after a battle Thresh manages to kill Senna and trap her soul in the lantern. Lucian vows to avange his love Senna and grant her peace and freedom from the lantern, and Senna(soul) realizes that she can learn to control the mist to her own ends so she binds her time in lantern waiting for an opportunity to escape. When Lucian stabs the lantern with his broken pistol Senna manages to escape but she is neither alive nor dead (possibly and most likely a Wraith) but she can control the mist and it seems the she has a different type of mist than the one that Thresh has. Thresh is empowered by the Black Mist while Senna's appears to be Gray-ish, we later learn that hers is called "Hallowed Mist"
Theres a lot more to the story but a lot of it is very spoilery so I didnt mention it
The Red head is a Pirate Captain named Miss Fortune and her name is a play on words because you can read it as misfortune (as in bad luck)

Not much I can add that hasn’t already been explained. I just wanted to point out hat the redhead in the water in the Climb video is Miss Fortune, or Sarah Fortune, as she has just had her ship sunk by the great leviathan of the sea, Nagakabouros, who is most likely following the directions of Her priestess, Illaoi. To add a bit more context, Illaoi is in some sort of partnership with the pirate Gangplank after Fortune sunk his ship and supposedly killed him. Illaoi restored his lost arm and brought him back. Miss Fortune herself is a pirate hunter, and went after Gangplank as revenge for killing her mother.
There is so much good lore it’s insane, and not easy to keep track of it all.

I'd like to attract attention on my preferred moment of the "shadow's embrace" cinematic. It's just after Senna (the woman) protected Lucian (the man). At this moment her shot (which is actually one of her ability in game) kinda used all her newly gained power and she is exhausted and accepting her fate as she managed to save Lucian from their nemesis (Thresh, the green chain-handler guy). The mist is getting back to the lantern and so will her soul do until the very moment Lucian intervenes using his dash ability (which exists in game too) and hugs her, not sure he knows at this moment if they will stay in the living world or will both get trapped in Thresh's lantern, pretty sure he just don't want to let her go anywhere without him... and that's so beautiful to me ;_; Always gives me the cill
Also whay was very huge with this video is that Senna was a "non-champion" just mentionned in Lucian's history, and the video was a teaser for her release in the game... 10 years anniversary gift from riot games.

The redhead is probably Miss Fortune of Bilgewater. She is effectively the Pirate Queen who rose to power first by getting her revenge on the pirate Gangplank for killing her parents. Her hair is actually blonde, but it was forever stained red by her blood when Gangplank had left her for dead.

Very interesting to see someone call those cinematics higher quality. Light and Shadow is extremely confusing to most and since it is the 3rd part of a skin cinematic line it's even a stranger pick. But Phoenix I feel like is one of Riots most forgettable considering Rise is so much more popular for championship cinematics. And Light Within is perhaps the most baffeling suggestion since it is not only also a niche skin cinematic, but it's an art project more than anything.
From what I've seen of previous cinematic reactions, your cinematic collection here is way less popular than cinematics like Awaken and Warriors.
It is very interesting to see that league has so many cinematics at this point that different groups have huddled around certain preferences.

Brief explanation of this triplet of trailers: "The Climb" was originally intended to symbolize a player's ascension through the various tiers of play in League of Legends, from Iron to Platinum to Diamond to Challenger. However, when Riot decided to add the character Senna to the game, the final scene of The Climb was retroactively turned into part of Senna's storyline. The basic story of Senna is that she was a light sentinel and wife of Lucian, but she was killed and her soul imprisoned in Thresh's lantern (Lucian and Thresh are the two characters who are fighting in Shadow's Embrace). Lucian manages to free Senna, but rather than liberating her soul to travel to the hereafter, Senna instead revives as a semi-undead ghost (it's implied in-game through Viego's voicelines that this may have something to do with Isolde, a major character in the ongoing "ruination" storyline).
As for how Senna performs in-game, she's kind of in a weird spot at the moment. The major item rework last December left her without any major build options (in particular, she didn't synergize well with either Galeforce, Immortal Shieldbow, or Kraken Slayer, which were the three main items intended for her class, nor were the support items very good on her). As such, she's primarily been using a Kraken Slayer-centric build with items like Guinsoo's Rageblade, but the problem is she has such a limited gold income because she's a support that the build takes too long to come online. This resulted in several players trying a tank build on Senna with items like Frostfire Gauntlet, which are cheaper than the dedicated damage items, but that build was pretty quickly nerfed into the ground on the most recent patch.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I've observed that a common trend among champions that aren't popular is that there's a problem with their abilities or their items aren't very good: Senna's a case of the latter, hence some people trying the tank Senna build. Riot tends to be pretty quick about nerfing damage-focused characters who build tank because that's when these characters tend to become overpowered. We saw this with how they handled frozen mallet/phantom dancer Yasuo, the tank Ekko build, and most recently, the full tank Sett build. The thing I don't like about tank builds getting nerfed is when a damage champion builds tank, it's usually for a very good reason. For example, Lissandra built tankier than most mages because she needed that extra bulk to survive in the middle of a fight, where she was at her strongest. However, Riot repeatedly nerfed the tank build by lowering her base damage, but giving her high damage scaling to encourage her to buy AP damage items like Luden's Echo and Rabadon's Deathcap. However, all this did was put Lissandra players in a catch-22 where if they built tank, their damage fell off late game, but if they built full damage, they would never survive a fight. The final nail in the coffin for Lissandra came late last year during the season 11 item rework: several of tank Lissandra's key items were removed, namely Rod of Ages, and a proper replacement was never added. Lissandra has several problems besides just not having good items, namely that she's too slow, having low damage for a burst mage, or being more sensitive to game changes due to her dependency on items, but the removal of RoA in the preseason was the one that really hurt her viability.

You guys should really watch Legends of Runeterra cinematics!!! It really fleshes out some of these characters. There's one for Thresh and the island Lucian is in right now called "none escape" The series has the same characters and lore but different game (card game like Hearthstone or MTG)

Ruination you'll probably get a better idea but i truly think the most special cinematics would be Riot's legends of runterra series. The dialogie and short story arcs are clear and tell a great stort.

Green demon guy is Thresh, and he killed the gun guy’s (Lucian) wife (Senna) and he traps souls in his lantern. Redhead is “Miss Fortune” aka Sarah Fortune. She’s a pirate that made a name for herself and basically is the best pirate around. Green tentacles were from Illaoi (Ill-ow-ee), the kraken priestess. I don’t know much about her lore. The girl in the last video is Senna, who is Lucian’s wife that was killed/trapped in thresh’s lantern and escaped when Lucian stabbed it. Her gun is a combo of light and dark-dark hurting enemies and light protecting allies. When she shot Lucian, she shielded him. The shot also hit thresh and knocked him back. Big hulkbuster guy was Blitzcrank, and I don’t know much about him either, time guy with the blue club is Ekko, and he is part of a mischievous crew in Zaun (the super toxic city with chemical crap everywhere and stuff like that) that made a device that lets him go back in time a short period, and manipulate the flow of time to an extent.

Ruination is about Viego. The website does a great breakdown of who Viego is. "Once ruler of a long-lost kingdom, Viego perished over a thousand years ago when his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead triggered the magical catastrophe known as the Ruination. Transformed into a powerful, unliving wraith tortured by an obsessive longing for his centuries-dead queen, Viego now stands as the Ruined King, controlling the deadly Harrowings as he scours Runeterra for anything that might one day restore her, and destroying all in his path as the Black Mist pours endlessly from his cruel, broken heart."
The soul of his queen is within Senna (like, living inside her) and can speak to Senna. Thats also why Senna thought she was cursed, because wherever she went, the Black Mist followed. But it wasn't a curse, it was because of the queen residing within her and Viego wanting his queen back.
That is where Ruination will pick up. Makes it better to watch when you know. :) Cheers

It's more about the Shadow Isles than the actual Ruination event and Storyline (so far, i'm dying to see what will happen ton Kalista, Yorick and the Other Shadow Isles character), but yes, maybe these one should be watched before "Ruination", to make sure they understand the whole picture.
Okey Guys first things first
The guy with the two guns and the white outfit is Lucian he is from Demacia and he is also from the Light Sentinels an Order created to defeat the Mist, a magical and evil force that is commanded by the Ruined King, and that demonic big guy is Thresh "The Jailman" and he is one of the most know demons in Helia or more common known the Shadow Isles, he has in his latern a lot of trapped souls but the on important her is Senna, Lucian´s wife and also a Light Sentinel, she was captured be Thresh a long time ago and Lucian has been searching for her since then, and Senna is of course the woman with the gigant gun that appears and helps Lucian, also at the end you see that someone grabs Thresh´s latern well, that is Thresh himself escaping.
Second, the guy that is chilling playing his Flute that is Yasuo "The Unforgiven", brother to Yone (He kills Yone by the way) and pupil to Souma (who he lets alone and is killed in an accident)
Third, that redhead is Miss Fortune, Captain of The Siren, and she is from Bilgewater (is like Turtle from Pirates of the Carribean but more danger and less rum), what "attacks" someone say that is Nautilus "The Titan from the Deep" since she didnt paid the tribute to pass the sea of the guardian, other say that is Illaoi "The Priestess of the Buruu", that is making her go through the test of Nagakabouros the sea god of the Buruu.
Fourth the girl with the brown hair that is literally surfing in the sand is Taliyah, she is from Shurima and in her stay at Jonia she was trained by Yasuo the guy i talked you earlier, she has the power to control the earth and the thing that is attacking her is the Ascended being Xerath (tecnichaly he is not an ascended he is something else like he stoled the power that was goig to be for Azir the Emperor of Shurima).
And Fifth the boy with the white mowhack is Ekko, he is from Zaun that is below Piltover the city of Progress, and he created the Z-Pulsar is that thing that he carries in his back that it lets him control time in a way and he also can rewind his own time like we walk two meter well he han press his watch an return to the beginning point, the robot that appears and helps him that is Blitzcrank he is an automanton created by Victor and his ai evolded to a point that he has some sort of feelings and emotions.

So, the redheaded chick is called Miss Fortune. She's a pirate from the lake city of Bilgewater, which is close to the Shadow Islands where the black mist from Ruination comes from, you will see when you check that out.
If you're watching several things at once then I suggest you watch next Fiddlesticks' videos, both the champion theme and the "Terror of Demacia" trailer. Better not watch it at night.

So, quickly :
- Lucian and Senna are lovers, not sure if they are married but she's regularly refered to as Lucian's wife, so.
- They are Light Sentinels, a guild that uses light magic to bane the creatures of the Dark Mist.
- Senna's Soul as previously been captured by Thresh in his Lantern. Lucian tracks him down to free her.
- When Lucian destroyed (temporarily) the Lantern, Senna's soul wasn't just released, she was revived (her previous body was left to rot where she died as Lucian was forced to flee).
- Senna is now back, but altered by the Mist, which now powers her too.
- As Light Sentinels, they will now keep chasing the Mist to put an end to it, someway.
- The Ruination video follows these ones, explaining more about what is the Black Mist, also called the Ruination, where does it come from (except the general location of the Shadow Isles) and why.
For the other character of the second video, they are :
- Yasuo, a Ionian warrior whose blade commands the wind.
- Talyiah, a Shurimian girl with geomancy
- Ekko, the boy who shatters time, and Blitzcrank, fighting in there native city of Zaun against some mobsters
- Miss Fortune, a pirate girl from Bilgewater, that will likely meet the almighty Nagakabouros (also known as the Bearded Lady), an ancient octopus-god of the Deep, and her priestess, Illaoi (that you can see in the "Ruined King" trailer, wich should be watched after the Ruination video, to go a bit further on this story).
You can also watch "Made with love", (after "Ruination" and "Ruined King")wich is another piece of this puzzling storyline.
And so you have the information, the Ruination Event is planned to begin on every game of this universe (Runeterra) on July 14th. So you can expect new videos around this time.

Skimming around, I don't think anyone's touched on Thresh specifically, only his relation to Lucian and Senna, and I think some general backstory would benefit for when you get to the Ruination cinematic.
Long ago the Shadow Isles (where Lucian and Thresh's battle takes place) were known as the Blessed Isles and were considerably more normal and peaceful lmao. Thresh originated here, and was a sort of magical custodian of an underground vault filled with dangerous artifacts. Thresh was bitter about this, feeling that he had been put here to keep him away from others, because even when he was alive he was.... a rather cruel man. At some point an army from a far off kingdom arrived, with their king, Viego. There is a lot to touch on for Viego but that's best saved for after the Ruination cinematic, but essentially what Viego does at the Blessed Isles causes a catastrophic chain of events, destroying the Isles and turning them into the haunting Shadow Isles they're known as now. This event is known as the Ruination, and is also what transforms Thresh into his current form, which he gladly embraced.
The Ruination is the origin of the Black Mist, which is closely connected to Viego himself and will... also get touched on after the Ruination cinematic. Those that die in the Mist though are forever cursed, and each year since the Ruination, the Mist at times extends from the Shadow Isles into other regions of Runeterra, in an event called the Harrowing. Anyone killed during the Harrowing is also forever cursed, their souls dragged along with the Black Mist when it returns to the Shadow Isles.
That aside...
"I wanna know who the redhead was" NOW you've truly summoned me, as already pointed out, that was Miss Fortune! Her full name is Sarah Fortune but goes by Miss Fortune for exactly why you think. I mentioned before she's one of my favs so I hope you are ready for this comment to get way long.
Sarah's mother, Abigale, was a well-known gunsmith, Fortune made firearms being quite coveted. One day a man by the name of Gangplank arrived and demanded an exquisite pair of Fortune pistols, to which Sarah's mother reluctantly agreed to. A year later Gangplank returned for the pistols, having no intent to pay for them. Abigale asserted that the pistols she had crafted were too fine for someone like Gangplank, and enraged, he took the pistols, gunned down the entire family with them, smashed the pistols, and set the workshop on fire. Sarah, just a child at this time, barely survived, and escaped from the workshop with the remains of her mother's pistols. While she healed, she never quite got over the trauma of the event, as nightmares followed her into adulthood. She was determined to have vengeance though, and everything she did from that point forward was working herself to eventually face Gangplank. She rebuilt her mother's pistols and learned everything she could about Gangplank, who had since become basically the pirate king of Bilgewater.
Sarah spent years taking on bounties and earning her reputation as "Miss Fortune," took a ship named the Syren, and slowly gathered together a small but loyal force of allies and finally made a move against Gangplank, blowing his ship to pieces in front of all of Bilgewater (there is a whole story in itself to this part but that involves some other characters). With Gangplank out of the picture, rival captains immediately started fighting amongst themselves for control of Bilgewater, catching civilians in the middle of the power scuffle, and Sarah stepped forward to assume control. Definitely not something she particularly wanted to do, but it was better than pirates tearing the city to pieces. UNFORTUNATELY Gangplank didn't really die, but when this event took place in 2015, Gangplank was disabled in the game for a bit because he was "dead," which I still find infinitely funny.
A fun fact, Miss Fortune is connected to Lucian! After taking down Gangplank and assuming control of Bilgewater, the two meet up as Lucian is hunting down Thresh and winds up in Bilgewater as a Harrowing starts. Due to Bilgewater being the closest to the Shadow Isles, it tends to get hammered frequently by the Harrowing. Lucian comes in to assist when Hecarim (a spectral centaur, he is connected to Viego's story) corners Miss Fortune and her crew. Thresh makes an appearance as well, though Lucian fights him alone as Sarah goes a different path, pursued by Hecarim. I'm pretty certain Sarah's connection to Lucian here is why she's a main character for the upcoming Ruined King game (which is also why I suggested Kin of the Stained Blade and the Ruined King trailer after Ruination). These events didn't have cinematics, as they were told through short stories, but the links for them are still live on the League site if you'd like to read them!

I think the others are already explained in the comments so I'll just mention the red head in the ocean you wondered about. Her name is Sarah Fortune but shes known as Miss Fortune, shes kind of like a pirate princess. She has alot of history with that cigar guy with the big shotgun from the other cinematic. She appears in a couple other cinematics with her double flint lock pistols. Her story is pretty cool. Generally she is famous for standing out so much amongst the other captains since they're generally big hairy dudes with missing teeth and whatever pirate trope you can think of, many are literally fish-people. But she is very involved with a story that the players actually voted for back in the day when they reworked another pirate champion called Gangplank. Gangplank was kind of the King of the pirates and he had a sort of war with Miss Fortune because she wanted revenge for her parents which he killed many years before. The players ultimately voted that he would lose the war which ended with him losing an arm and Miss Fortune getting a Captain skin in the game.
She will also be one of the main characters in an upcoming turn based league of legends story game based on the story of Ruination.
Briefly about the others aswell. Yasuo is the blue ninja guy who had all the arrows shot at him. He's very edgy and popular. His story is an anime backstory involving his brother whom he killed because his older brother was hunting him along with everyone else because they believed Yasuo killed their master. They were kind of ninja samurai wind magic monks. One of his abilities in the game is a wall of wind which literally blocks everything shot at it, so thats why he dealt with the arrows so easily.
The stone bender girl is Taliyah, shes like an earth bender from Avatar. I don't really know her story that well, she was lost and stuff but then she met Yasuo whom taught her some motivating things so now shes doing something. Lol.
The time manipulating kid is Ekko. He has a device that can stop time in a bubble for a few seconds and he can even go back in time a few seconds. He lives in Zaun which is the technologically advanced steampunk underbelly of Piltover, an even more technologicall advanced city on top of Zaun. Down in Zaun all the toxic waste goes, it's full of chemical mafias and cults and lost rambling robots. Jinx and Vi are two other champion from there and the upcoming league Netflix show will be about them.
The golden robot who helps Ekko is also a playable champion. Not much else to say about that.
Shame not much is known about Taliyah. She seems to have an interesting power and would like to know more about her. 🤔

You guys need to watch all of the League of Legends Star Guardian cinematics! It’s very reminiscent of Sailor Moon if you’re familiar with that. The order goes as:

Just a break down of the first trailer "Climb", rest is already explained. In order of trailer. The first is Yasuo, you seen him before, what blocked those arrow was his windwall. Next was Taliyah a Earth mage, She trying to make her way to Xerath (which you do not see, but see this attacks the blue blast coming from the distance). The Mohawk Kid is Ekko, he can control time slightly for a few secs. if not minutes. The other was Blitzcrank, a Robot invented and self-aware. They can grab and pull with their grappling hands, and they build up energy and release it causing a huge blast around themselves. Ekko as he was falling was trying to reset time to where he was on the platform before. The redhead was Miss Fortune, a Pirate Captain and tied to several others in the game (ie: Gangplank and Illaoi) and part of the Bilgewater region. She looks as though trapped underwater at the Shadow Isle, (assuming she brought Lucian there).
Blitzcrank is such a great name. LoL really does a good job with naming their characters 👏

If I'm correct, The Climb was just a promo video for ranked or something, and not much was related to the lore (or so it seems at the time), same as the Awaken video, all just flashy stuff for game promo, but after a while Riot started to make more lore accurate content and thus Warriors is more accurate lore wise, and they have set off to make most if not all previously released cinematics and videos canon by writing more stories to connect them all either making it past lore or future lore

I like this idea. Keep up with the 3 cinematics. There are so many videos anyways. They even have music videos. I would recommend "Varus As I Fall" or Amumu Curse of the Sad Mummy. Both great video showing the background of 2 champions.

The ghost like creature was Thresh. He was living a island named Blessed Islands. He is a jailor for artifacts in Blessed Islands. (He is also a sadist.) When The Ruined King a.k.a. Viego came to Blessed Islands to ressurect his wife Isolde. The people are refused to ressurect his wife. Then Viego ordered to kill everyone in the island. One of his generals Kalista refused to do that and Hecarim (The other general of him.) stabbed her with his spear. Then centuries later. She became the spear of vengeance. But that is a another story. When Viego came across with Thresh said he can help him. Viego and Thresh came to the room with artifacts. There was a water can ressurect someone. When they dropped Isolde's body into the magic water a explotion began. The black mist surround everywhere in Blessed Islands. Every living became a wraith like creature. The guy with two guns is Lucian. He is Thresh's enemy. Thresh stole Lucian's wife Senna's soul. That is why they are fighting in the trailer.

First for your last Questions: yes there are a lot of Champions in the Game.
We have over 150 different Champions in League ^^ (155 if i'm correct right now)
So let's start :D
So yeah u have some really good guesses.
You are right that the Lantern of the "Demon" Guy collects Souls.
The Guy you see with the 2 Handcannons is called Lucian.
The Woman trapped inside the Lantern and later rescued by him is his Wife Senna.
btw. Booth there Weapons (his 2 handcannons and her big cannon) are made from the same Stone.
The "Demon" himself is called Thresh.
Once in the time of Runeterra a tragic event took place in a region called Blessed Isles.
An unprecedented magical cataclysm left the barrier between the material and spirit realms in tatters, effectively merging the two… and dooming all living things in an instant.
That's how the Shadow Isles appeared.
Thresh is one of the souls merged with the undead realm becoming an Soul collecting Reaper.
Before that he was a sadistic Jailer who had much fun with torturing prisoners.
Lucian and Senna were Hunters of undying Spirits.
They travelled through the lands to fight the Beings that emerged from the Shadow isles.
Once Thresh appeared as their Enemy.
He tricked them somehow and captured Sennas Soul in his Lantern.
Lucian lost everything in that moment.
He swore to hunt Thresh down, who now became his biggest Enemy.
What happened when he got to Thresh you see in the Videos.
So now let's go over the other characters.
First other Character we see is the Guy with the flute under the Arrows.
This is Yasuo.
A Ninja fighting with a Katana and the Ability to control the Wind.
You can see him creating a Wind Wall to deflect all the incoming Arrows.
He is from Ionia and a true Master of the Wind.
You will see him in a few other cinematics too.

Next we see Taliyah.
The Girl in the Desert of Shurima riding on a Rock over Sand.
She is a Mage and if you watched the Avatar series than you can see her as an Earthbender.
She can Control and form the Earth.
Not much is known about her.
She was traveling the World but needed too come back to save her tribe.
Cause in Shurima some things are changing.
You will see more about what exactly is changing in Shurima by watching

Next we switch over to Zhaun seeing Ekko.
Zaun is like the Slums in our big citys.
It is the under town of the big City called Piltover.
So normally People call the City/Region Piltover & Zaun cause booth City parts need each other.
in Piltover everything needs to be clean and orderd while in Zaun everyone simply does what he can to live.
The Region itself is known for having the biggest Researching Facilitys.
Most technical stuff was invented here either in Zaun or Piltover.
From Piltover come the more clean Inventions that we call Hextech.
While in Zaun there are some really crazy Scientists with more dirty approaches and even testing on human beings to change there appearence.
Ekko is a guy who is living in Zhaun fighting for keeping alive everyday.
You will see more of him in:

So next we see a Robot grabbing some People.
This is Blitzcrank.
He was created to descend into the most caustic and dangerous of environments in Zaun to dispose of harmful waste.
But it has evolved beyond there programming.
Now Blitzcrank walks the streets of Zaun in a tireless effort to improve the undercity and give aid to those in need.
Next switch when Ekko falls is to Bilgewater the Pirate Region.
We see a red haired Woman in the Water.
As you guessed right this is not Katarina.
This is Miss (Sarah) Fortune and she is a Captain.
As a child, she witnessed the reaver king Gangplank murder her family-an act she brutally avenged years later, blowing up his flagship while he was still aboard.
At the End when she swims up she tries to grab her handgun.
So yeah she is a Ranged Ad carry .
No Assassin like Katarina ^^
Next we are back in the Shadow Isles as Lucian fighting our way up to Thresh to rescue our Wife.
He gets it done and we after all this Years (Thresh & Lucian came out in 2013 Senna in 2019) have Senna back.
Senna herself was so long in the Lantern that she got some power to control the Black Mist.
Cause she never believed that Lucian was not rescueing her She trained in there as hard as she could.
So now she came out Stronger than before.
That's why her Eyes glow even more green sometimes.
It's her using the new found power.
Fun Fact: In League of Legends (Game) you can build Life Steal.
It's a Meme for Years in the LoL community that Thresh still is the only Champ with 100% wife steal ^^

As many, many people have probably told you by now, League has a pretty interesting and fun series of cinematics. Even if you do not play the game, you can still appreciate the trailers and enjoy them quite a bit! Not sure if you mentioned this before, but League Of Legends is getting a TV Show on Netflix so maybe check it out!
Yes we love these cinematics even not knowing the characters or what is going on really. It is just really well made and we probably won’t play the game because it doesn’t sound like our type of game. But the series we plan to check out on Netflix 😁

Oh Magneto is definetly a full time villain beyond return by now. Maybe not a totaly evil person at heart and definetly not from the start, but that's the tragic irony of his character. He was percecuted by the nazis as a jew and feared for mutants to face the same fate. As time went on and his bitterness and resentment grew, he himself slowly became the evil he fought without even noticing.
He is murdering innocent people, even children, because they are not mutants (even mutants who oppose him, like the Nazis murdered Germans who didn't join the cause, labeling them as traitors to their race). He has no compassion or mercy for those he deems as no part of the small group he claims to protect. Thinking that any cause, no matter how noble it might seem, could justify such evil is villain material, he's not a hero and not an anti hero. That's the message by the way, and a frightening one in this point in time.
The same goes for Sylas btw. He's not a hero, he is a resentfull person plotting destruction and revenge at any cost for innocent people and even his own followers. They are both exelent characters, but they are examples of whom NOT to follow.
Just wanted to get this of my chest. The meaning of heroes and villains has been represented poorly lately, both in comics and in those Disney+ live action Marvel series.
It's not the lable imprinted by the author, that makes the character either hero or villain, good or evil, but their actions in combination with their motives.
That's why I like where the league of legends lore is going right now. There has been a shift in tone in the last few years and unlike many other franchises they still have their values spot on.
In the beginning there were human factions labled as good and bad. Demacians were just heroes and Noxians were just villains. They improved that concept by mixing opressive elements into the Demacian culture and government and giving Noxus an individualistic state for the people touch (not socialism, more like french revolution with a roman flavor).
They greyed out the human factions and characters, but there are still pure forces of good and evil at work in runeterra.
The Ionians living in harmony with nature, the spirits and the magic of their land are definetly something good.
The enemies of life and existence itself, like the void, the ruination and the darkin, are definetly evil.
Also there are purely neutral forces of nature or the cosmos, like Bard, Kindred and Ivern.
Now this is an actual story being told with purpose, values and meaning.

The woman is Senna and the guy is Lucian, they are lovers and soulmates. A long time ago, Thresh (The demon) killed Senna and took her soul in his lantern. Since then Lucian has been on a one-track mission to rescue Senna's soul, he never thinks he will see her alive again, he just doesn't want her to suffer eternally in the lantern. In the last video when Lucian breaks Senna out of the lantern she immediately protects him when she shoots at him, if you watch it again you'll see she deflected the hook that was coming from Thresh who was standing behind Lucian.
The thing with Lucian and Senna is - They are keepers of 'the light' or 'sentinels' and they hunt down creatures of the underworld (such as Thresh). Senna is no longer a Sentinel and she no longer follows the light. The lantern has corrupted her and she now uses the powers that Thresh accidentally gave her, making her the very thing that she swore to destroy. This presents herself and Lucian with a very obvious moral dilemma. For now, Senna is using her borrowed power to help Lucian destroy the underworld creatures with their own foul magics.
Their story is fascinating and it's definitely the best story in League of Legends.
Sounds like a great story and we look forward to seeing more in Ruination 😃

The girl who has a red hair and wears a pirate costume is Miss Fortune. Her mother was killed by Gangplank who was a crime lord of Bilgewater. Miss Fortune became a pirate to take revenge from Gangplank. She made a plan and blow away his ship and himself. (But Gangplank returned as injured.) Then she became leader of Bilgewater. The man with a blue outfit was Yasuo. His duty was protect his school's master. One day Noxus empire strike Ionia (Yasuo's homeland.) Everyone go to war. Yasuo wanted to join the war but the others said "Finish you duty." We will defend Ionia. But Yasuo didn't listen and he left the school. When the war is over. The master died. Everyone thought Yasuo killed the master. But he didn't. After so many days he come across with his older brother Yone. They fought each other. At the end Yasuo have to do kill Yone. (But the story doesn't ends here.) The girl with brown outfit was Taliyah. She is Yasuo's student. He helped Taliyah to control her rock powers. The white haired boy was Ekko. He can control time with a gadget. He lives a city named Zaun. Opposite city of Piltover.
We recognize Bilgewater name and a few others. Thanks for filling us in on some of the secondary characters featured in this trailer. Only calling them secondary because the videos mainly seemed to center on Lucian and Senna 😊

The girl with earth surfing abilities is Thaliyah she’s basically an earth bender lol.

You've to undesratand dou, Lucian has been a playable characters for years, what's more. The Senna hostage situation with Tresh has being part of his lore all his life, suddenly having his Wife being a champion made a lot of people lose their shit. It also kick-started the most recent event within LOL, with hos Senna was able to scape Tresh's lanter and her relationship with the shadow isle.

So, I have not seen a good lore summery for you guys here, so I thought I would write one. I want to start with a caveat that all this is to my best knowledge and interpretation, so if I am wrong about something feel free to let me know! Now, with those caveats out of the way, lets begin!
Dark Passage: Introduces us to Lucian and Thresh. Thresh has killed Lucian’s wife Senna. He says “It ends now” to make it clear that he is going to either save Senna from Thresh’s lantern or die trying.
The Climb: This story takes us all around Runeterra and introduces us to a lot of champions. There is going to be a lot of lore for these characters that I will skip over, just giving enough to get to know who they are and what is happening. We start off here by introducing Yasuo, a disgrace swordsman from Ionia with power over wind (thus the wind wall, an actual move in the game to block projectiles).
Next, we see Taliyah, a mage with power over stone. Yasuo was actually her teacher, and her parting gift to him is the hair tie he uses.
After that, we are in Zaun, one of the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun. Piltover is a beacon of progress up on the surface, producing marvels of science. Where as Zaun is stuck underneath Piltover, choking on the fumes of the of the factories and starved of light. Here we meet echo, and genus inventor who has discovered how to manipulate time and use jumping through it to his advantage (like you see him trying to do when he is falling). You see his afterimage here, that he can use to delay his grenade toss and jump back to it if he gets in trouble (all based on abilities he has in game). We also meet Blitzcrank here. Blitz is a massive steam golem (so not a suit) that has evolved to be sentient and uses his strength to help those in need. Blitz typically covers the support role in game, so when you said nice assist, that is basically his roll in game XD
Next, we meet Miss Fortune (not kat XD), a famed pirate captain who has just had her ship brought down by the great kraken, Nagakabouros. She is fighting to get her signature hand cannons back so she can survive.
Now we are back on the Shadow Isles, a portion of Runeterra taken over by the dead, and see Lucian fighting his way through the shadows to get to Thresh, and hopefully save Senna.
Senna Shadow’s Embrace: Now this is the big one! We get to see Lucian fighting Thresh. Thresh is a creature that loves to torture and play with his victims before ripping their soul from their body and trapping them for all eternity in his lantern, so definitely about as evil as characters can get in LOL. Senna was one of those victims. Lucian manages to temporarily crack the lantern and free the souls for a little bit. Senna, who has been fighting the corruption of the lamp from the inside this entire time is released. While inside the lamp she has not only strengthened the strength of her light weapons but also gained some measure of control over the shadows and can use them in a yin and yang type of balance. She used that massive gun to not only heal Lucian from his battle with Thresh, but also to deal damage to thresh and keep him away from Lucian (this is verry similar to how you play Senna in game, with your main ability damaging enemies and healing your allies). In the end, when all the shadows are getting pulled back into the lamp, they both don’t know if she is going to be pulled back in or if she can stay, but they are both going to hold on tight and they will not be separated again. At the very end we see that Thresh is not gone for good, and will be back!

RUINATION IS NEEXXXT! One of their most most interesting cinematics! Now we're finally getting a look at story, ever so slim as that peek is!
Lucian lost Senna as his introductive backstory, these cinematics were months to years apart each, and Senna being made a playable character in the last cinematic got me more emotional than most of the other aspects of this lore, I care so much about them.
Also give her a break, she was literally in a personally crafted purgatory from Skele-guy Thresh, she'll recover, but if anyone escapes Hell they're not gonna be instantly happy, that trauma travels with you XD

Senna (black chick) doesn't attack Lucian(black dude). She uses her ultimate which does 2 things... it shields allies and damages enemies =) the light shields Lucian from Thresh's (demon) hook, then the black part damages Thresh. Also Senna is Lucian's wife.
