I feel sorry for Yohan Blake. He would be a multiple gold medalist in any non-Bolt era.
to be the best u have to beat the best
I don’t. 🔎💉💊
@QTee. If I thought drug cheats were greatness I’d be worshipping all thenaddicted lowlife scum I grew up with. Pathetic you admire losers who need to cheat to win....or rather lose, he never did win gold.
Same with Andre de Grasse.
@Dan C Powell? He never runs well in finals
Running 9.85’s and they jog the last 10 m
Ukr
And Bolt jogged the last 10m in his 9.58.
Not they...Yohan Blake
Its because it's impossible to keep your full speed for more than 80 meters. Thats why acceleration typically should last to 30m-50m and then full speed after that. All these top athletes push each other past their limits, so they go to their top speed faster and slow down at the end of the race. The only crazy one imo was that bolt ran the second fastest 100m in olympic history and slowed his time down by a tenth of a second at least when he started showboating at about 10m-15m left.
STK _ righttt😭
Yall play the weirdest music I swear.
You kidding? This is REAL music!
IKR I love this music
Micah Beaver 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This 🎸 jam so ill, you can't even comprehend great music.
"Can You Dig It Sucker"
The song is great but it doesn't go with the video.
The 100m London Olympics was so, so stacked. The 5 best sprinters in history in one race!
Yes it was
@@grant21999 tc El WI
Hey man vp p
Every athlete these days uses steroids. They just stop their cycle before the Olympic qualifying.
Injuries are the main reason they use them. The human body can heal itself 10 times faster when their on it. The benefits to the body are insane. In many ways it's a miracle drug.
The 4x100m race that year was an absolute beauty to watch
He danced while running and still finished with a time of 9.69. BOLT FOR YA
Same in his 9.58 WR race
Your definition of dancing is weird
@@johnfitzmaurice1028 he could have lowered even more the World Récord and I don't know if I'll see someone in my Lifetime lower it more
Fun fact: of the 50 fastest mens 100m dash times ever, only 15 were ran by an athlete that was _not_ banned for drugs or subject to allegations of missed or failed drugs tests. All 15 of those times were ran by Usain Bolt.
Wasn’t Asafa Powell reinstated though?
Was yohan banned?
@@kwesietsibah2917 For 3 months as a Junior back in 2009 for something that was similar to a banned substance but not on the official list.
Dude! Have you ever her the name of Valery Borzov? BTW:he won the 100m&200m Gold in Munich. Dope!
wait what does this mean usain does drugs? sorry my reading comprehension in english is not that great
10:29 Bolt broke the WR while spreading his arms, thumping his chest, and looking around lmao.
he would have got less than 9.58 if he didnt showboat
@@unclefelix25 Nah, maybe 9.62 at absolute best. Before the showboating he was behind the 9.58 pace if you look at 10m split times. His 9.69 he hit 80m at 8.125 seconds, his 9.58 he hit 80m at 8.066 seconds. So before the showboating he was behind the 9.58 pace anyways, about 0.05 behind.
@@richardgallimore5976 yeah, it's just bolt can showboat at ridiculous speed.
If he had credible competition the time would have been the current world record.
Human race owe alot to Bolt..He introduced social distancing to us way back
Very funny
But he wasnt social distancing for the first 50 metres he was still level with the competition because he has a average start but very good top speed
LOLOLOL
🤣
@@sebastianherwitz4568 very good is an understatement. More like the best anyone has ever seen
2012 was literally the greatest 100m race I’ve ever seen
Hands down... Also that final in London singlehandedly took away several arguments about who is the sprint GOAT
usain could’ve easily ran a faster time if would stop show boating. I just wanna see him get the fastest fastest time he can do
Same for his 9.58 race
SamAnimations! 9.58 he had his hands out and slammed his chest before he crossed the line
D’iamando That was his 9.69 nice
He pulled up, looked around, gave the “are you not entertained” arms, and then pounded his chest towards the audience. All in a 100m sprint. The world will remember that moment.
Plus he came back and crushed that time later on
Many of you guys clearly dont sprint . His time wouldnt have changed by much. The show boating was done in the last 5m maybe it would have made a 0.02 difference or something
yohan blake 9:85 is actually insane he stopped like 10-15 m before the finish
Imagine showboating your way to a gold medal and a world record
Lol it was already his world record, he was just giving himself a new personal best
You mean showing confidence
To this day I wonder what Bolt would have ran in Beijing if he didn’t slow and pound his chest, still a boss move though!
That Beijing 9.69 was sic..quite easily the most awesome 100m of all time..sends goosebumps everytime i watch it..that acceleration from 40m to 70m is unreal!
He would have probably gone about 0.03-0.05 seconds faster
9.52
i estimate he would have ran a 9.62. he was in slightly better form in beijing than he was in London, and in both events he ran very similar 200 meter times
@@TH-cx2yx This sounds the most accurate to me. I think 9.62-9.64.
Usain Bolt forever looks like he’s just taking a light jog !
Maybe that's the key to his technique ;-)
Ikr!
But when he is running, HE IS RUNNING lol
Bolt smashed all these records in a four year span, and on TV....makes you wonder if he has ran even faster in training sessions when the camera wasn't on🤔...💪🏾🇯🇲🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🇯🇲
R.T.istic1 he ran 8.65 in a relay once lol
no all outs in training
@@sirchristopherblair8889 you never heard of "feed the cats" have you? Many sprinters train by going all out in practice. It's the only way to stimulate central nervous system, training your body to handle such speeds.
99 99 u get a wee bit of a head start in relay though. Still an amazing sprint though
@@elijahebbert6884 there's not a single elite sprinter doing that program lol
And yes sprinters do max effort sprints in training but most of the times the sprints they do are submaximal

When you are in a race with a lightning bolt, you know you are racing for second place at best. Hats off to Blake who surely does not get the attention he deserves. Amazing Running Blake!
Bolt’s 2008 Olympic 100 is the most incredible thing I ever saw. We could only wonder what his time would have been had he not slowed down in the last 20 meters. Perhaps 9:55? Wow
I remember back in 2008 a mathematician studied the race and felt if he had kept his form to the finish line we would have been looking at a 9.52 - 9.54 clocking. Such a shame we'll never know for sure.
No, his time would have been about 9.62 at best. You can find links to his 10m splits online. At the 70m mark he was 7.14, which was 0.04 behind his 9.58 run in 2009. He lost about 0.07 over the last 20m.
@@finewinedaily4997 Yeah, he would've broken 9.58 in London 2012 rather than in Beijing 2008.
@@yennox5338 nope, his race in Berlin was the fastest he could go. There was no race where he would have beaten that time
@@sir_sack Rewatch his Beijing 2008 race were he celebrated 20m before the finish line with no wind.

for nothing in the world I would change it! that's why he's special, that's why we love him! USAIN BOLT ⚡️🔥
Because of how pure and non-toxic the celebration was and the ridiculous time he ran a year later we have all moved past it.

Great job man! Also the video quality from the 2004 race was superb.
Yohan Blake is so underrated
1996: 9.84 seconds for gold
2012: 9.80 seconds for 4th place
😱
@Good Guy in 2100: 8.99 seconds, not qualified for Olympics
2200: 6.89 seconds, not good enough for high school
Great video
What an excellent presentation. Thanks for there not being any commentary.
@Olympic You totally omitted Tyson Gay's 9.80 in that 2012 final.
This is mind blowing, when Bolt runs 9.69 and it looks like he starts slowing down half way to the finish
Great video tho...truly appreciated
Imagine running 9.8 and not placing!
Bolts win in 2008 beijing was freaking amazing, like your first olympics, you are quite unknown by the public and The you just show up, win the best sprinters in the world like it's nothing and at the same time break a world record
2004 was his first olympics
8:02 the race with the 5 monsters
Most of them didn’t even look like they’d win that race and just gassed off😧 crazy speed
Imagine wearing a Richard Mille while running in the Olympics, Yohan rich rich
hes sponsered by them he has his own richard mille watch named after him, even floyd mayweather bought it you can see it on his instagram around August time
Second fastest man in the world wear RM 59-01 turbilion asimetrics specialized make for him with weight less than 4,3 grams.
There are only 50 pcs in the world and after he won silver medal, all pcs are sold include RM 61-01 that produce next year.
Richard Mille how lucky you are, $700.000/pcs sold just like that.
Imagine if Bolt never ever slowed down before crossing the line, his times would be even more insane.
No he wouldnt have, he would be slightly faster, like 0.03 seconds but he already has the speed
from all his races I came to a conclusion that bolt never cared about breaking records it just got broken on its own without him tryin what a guy.
Honestly, because he could have done it quicker
he cared about breaking the 200m
Jamaica is always rocking the track and field. Nice!
Me at 7:54 "Are you really gonna show the London 2012 race for 3 different entries?"

Bolt’s acceleration is just.... wow.
Justin Gatlin inspires me. I don't think I would compete favorably with so many boos and negative criticism....everybody deserves so many chances in life. I love you all great athletes out there, go ahead and represent all nations.
I know what you mean. And also having to compete with Usain knowing that he won't win most of the time. I don't know how he did it
Gatlin got too many chances. So many didn't even get a chance to even be heard. So that's the reason many people hate him. He doesn't inspire me because he is just determined to spit in faces by saying look what I did repeatedly and still came back to win. Nothing more than that. The day he bowed down to Bolt was the only time I respected him for simply acknowledging greatness and overall DEFEAT.
1:41 If you see how Bolt jog the last 10m and still got 9.85 which is only 0.01 behind OR at that time, you know he will break the record in the final.
Bolt could’ve ran faster than 9.58 seconds. He cruised down before running through the tape

He never stops the stopwatch anyway
It was his sponsor
He sprinting while he drippin', duh
My understanding was the watch was as tight as possible so that when he ŕan it made him run quicker as it was positioned around the pulse if you watch around that time alot of athletes especially sprinters were doing it
