- I wanted to show what is going on with the repainting of the Museum Ship Valley Camp, while on the way to check out the CSL St. Laurent.

Poor Valley Camp... She will look so much better once she has her new paint on her! Judging by that one small section... she is going to look great! I've been following the work on the battleship New Jersey, and she look fantastic with her new paint! Great shot of the St. Laurent! Such a beautiful view along the river there. Great video Cody and of course the star of the show..."Argo!" 🐕🦺 🚶♂
It really is amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do!
Argo is definitely the star, I think he knows it as well! 😂
I had the pleasure of visiting the Valley Camp. It is definitely worth going through her. The life boats from the Edmund Fitzgerald is amazing to actually see. Thank you for sharing your day with us. 😊
That is very cool! I still need to get there myself.
@@codyandargo906 you will enjoy going through there. To be able to walk on the deck is quite an experience too. To go stand at the stern and look out onto the water is a once in a lifetime experience.
What a ham Argo! Nice video! Thanks Cody
Thanks for watching!
Valley Camp will be looking sharp in no time!
Glad you used Argo for scale on the buoys: ) They're huge!
Argo is a good model/reference/anything since he just loves to be in front of the camera :).
Great video! Thank you!
I’ll be there in Sault Ste Marie 25th-30th, I hope I can meet you and Argo! Hope Argo likes cookies, I’ll try to smuggle some in lol. Thanks for your videos to help get me ready to visit!
We will certainly be wandering around. Just look for the cute red dog attached to the tall guy :)
I’ll be up there for engineers day.
It's a great event to be up for! I have to work, since it's on a Friday but I will try to get down there for a bit at least.
Who does Valley Camp belong to? State of MI or the Soo itself. Wonder who is gonna paint her. She sure needs it!
It looks like the Valley Camp is owned by the nonprofit group called Sault Historic sites. I didn't know until I just looked :) www.saulthistoricsites.com/
OMG, what happened to her paint? @Cody and Argo
We went down there today and her whole port side, apart from that one newly painted section, is now covered in grey splotches. I really do think that is some sort of sealant or rust converter, maybe both? I'm betting they will have her painted and looking great in no time!
