oh frankie valli and the four seasons and going to steele pier in atlantic city nj to see them every summer what a great period and it is rock n roll tacosaregod
Recorded this when it came out on TV I think about 1980-82. Yes this rocks and makes the new crab of today just that. Crap! Like time is a river. We'll never see these times again.
Schrooms, I think it was the late 80's... If I remember right, I was home during a break from college when this was on... I'm thinking @ '88 or so, because I see Larry Lingle playing guitar for Frankie Valli...
Thank you very much for this amazing video. What a memories!!! I was just a kid. Could you please tell us when and where was this? Thanks!!! The girls are still good looking and Frankie is a gentelman of the music.
TheTerryGene I have not disabled replies. Why can't Darlene sing her number one hit, He's A Rebel? She's been stealing La La's song for 30 years but my research finally forced her to tell the truth that she did not sing the Da Doo Ron Ron.
How could they get away with putting so much top talent like this on one stage and boil it down to just one long medley. Think of the mileage they could have gotten out of that cast. And they're so tight, and that's major league professional.
I'm surprised Ronnie didn't sing Be My Baby. Maybe it was just to add a little mix to the bunch. And Darlene definitely did not butcher this song! Personally, I find out of the 3 ladies Darlene sang the best!
My dad had this whole show on VHS tape, i can't tell how many times i watched this. Good times.
Had the pleasure of attending this concert taped for a TV show back in January 1984 at the Hollywood Palladium. Thank you so much for posting
I was there too. Would love to see the whole show.
@@analogcabinmusic5070 Wow were you really!!!! It would be great to see the whole show.
NO lip sync or auto tune. Just real talent
Fantastic - am lucky enough to have seen both martha and ronnie in concert.
The late 50's and the 60's had the best music there ever was. I wish more recording artists would do a cover of some of these fantastic songs.!!!!!
as someone who was born 20 yrs after this music first came out I happen to love it. and i thank my parents for introducing it to me.
I feel old but this music ROCKS! I like current music too, I just wish the younger generations could appreciate it.
Greatest music ever recorded

My Baby Loves Me! Martha did it! Marvelous!

Do not have the exact date of this but I believe it to be in the late 1990's. This was on a show called "Super Night Of Rock 'n Roll"
Darlene Love is the best ever
Recorded in 1984.

@Gioia27 Yes the show was in 1984. But the music is from the 1960's.
Thank you very much for this amazing video. What a memories!!! I was just a kid. Could you please tell us when and where was this? Thanks!!! The girls are still good looking and Frankie is a gentelman of the music.
Good one mom...That one gave me chicken skin.
Wow
Great clip.
What about Roger's comments?
Surely he is the only one alive to think that Darlene " butchers " any songs?
There are many who don't like Darlene Love's singing. I'm just one that has the chutzpah to stand up and say it.
I notice that Roger has disabled replies. It's alright not to like a performer, but isn't "weasel" a bit strong?

My bad on that. I had tried to reply to your reply and was unable to do so.

Damn, just look at those legs on Ronnie, I love ya gal.
@Gioia27 I did not either ?
@Schrooms73 I didn't say the music was from the 80's.
Darlene Love was the lead singer of the Chrystals She was not given proper credit.
HELLO
thats not rock n roll
There goes Darlene Love again butchering the Da Doo Ron Ron. Why can't this weasel sing her own damn songs? Thank God for La La Brooks.
