I was born in 1950 so I got it all. All of these ladies and more. Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Monkees, Elvis, Crystals, Chiffons, Shangri Las, and on and on. They could have left me out of Vietnam, but that was also part of it. 71 now and it is so great to see all these ladies together. Hell, most people didn't even start locking their doors until the late sixties. I'd love to go through it all again. Thanks for posting.
Seeing Lesley Gore and Brenda Lee (my two favorite female 60s singers) sing together was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!!! I love them so much! Too bad I couldn't grow up when their music was on the charts.
@@doninmichigan I couldn't agree more! And what a time it must've been back then! You were truly blessed! I do like a good bit of the music now, but it pales in comparison to the music of the 60s. Hands down.
at 2:17 Brenda does that long yell & who doesn't just adore Ronnie?what a sight to hear Martha Reeves & Mary Wells! even goofy Grace Slick is getting into this girl band stuff; this is a treasure!!
@@kylejasper4767 i like that you appreciate her. music always changes thru the years.everybody learns from these geniuses.I was a Jimi Hendrix guitar player & i recently got a Telecaster & am learning fast *chicken-picking* riffs! woot!

My husband and I had this on video cassette and used to put it on all the time! I never knew what Belinda Carlisle was doing there tho - she is way out of her league. Ronnie is the best! To see these ladies perform their own songs was such a treat - thanks for posting these! The whole show is terrific! In one of these videos you'll see Carly Simon in the audience. What about that macho man dancer and those CLOTHES! Turtlenecks, heavy jackets and pearls for the ladies - ! Sexy....ha ha.
Appreciated seeing them all, especially Shirley. I adore the Shangs, Ronettes, Crystals (irony of them closing with their song when none of them were there 🙄) and like Martha but I will stand by it til my dying day, The Shirelles were the best girl (& most prolific) girl group of all time. Would have also loved to see Mary Weiss, The Chiffons, The Angels, The Cookies, The Dixie Cups etc repped. Since it’s “Rock N Roll” Connie Francis and possibly even Linda should’ve been there. Both would have more fitting to host than Grace Slick and that Go Go girl, they’re not the rights eras
@@SixxQueen91 In their solo songs on this show, both appear to be in "normal" heels, maybe 2 inches. Hard to tell because there are few full length camera shots.
RIP My Ronnie Specter
These beautiful ladies 'nailed it' ! I loved it !

Me too ... but 1951 ... well said ... I wouldn't change a damned thing! Great times - Great music with all you listed plus ... we were so fortunate!
Grace and Ronnie and all the other Queens are tearin' up the house! These ladies sure had a ball.🎶
Fabulous to se so any legends perform together Thanks!

I did, and am so grateful to grow up when I did, but at least their music is preserved for all now on You Tube!

Awesome ladies of the 60's!!
Lady in gold is smokin!🥰
Ronnie Spector has it all.

Damn, Ronnie is still hot as hell and Da Doo Ron Ron is still the best girl group hit in history. And this is a great version. Sic 'em, ladies.

LOVE SHIRLEY ALSTON REEVES OF THE SHIRLLES.
Brenda blew them all away.
I couldn't believe how her voice soared. Brenda Lee was incredible. They were actually all good -- but Brenda surprised me.
Well they gave her the name little miss dynamite. Looks like she's still living up to it.
Top it off with Clarence... Still miss him.
Thank.

Go Big Man
....and this is why we don't skip rehearsal....
Best song ever and I don't even know what "Da do ron ron" even means!
Who cares what it means. Just enjoy it.
😃🎶🎷❤️👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
wow!!!
Gracie is slick
Pretty fair ladies.
Ronnie and the Ronettes should have recorded this to begin with.
パワフル!
CLARENCE
Was that Clarence Clements on sax?😊
Yea.
Ronnie Spector is great until today
Ronnie Spector is cute, but Freda Payne is goreous!
My thoughts exactly, but the cute wins over the gorgeous for me personally.
@@davidkent8606 I always loved Ronnie Spector! May she rest in peace.
De qué año es la grabación??
avez-vous reconnu Brenda Lee ?
‘62 or was it early ‘63?
Thats The Crystals song, and they aren't even there! Oh for shade 😲😲😲
Can anyone say when was this?...it seems like 78-82's
Most likely 1988 or 1989 since Grace retired from singing in 1989 and she looks like she did when the last Airplane album was released.
Get good voices together, the outcome is NEVER bad.
What's this from? This has gotta be, what? 84-85 or so, judging from Grace Slick and Belinda Carlisle
@Kohntarkosz, I believe this was in 1986.
Brenda is 4' 9", but look at her next to Lesley who was listed at 5'2". Not much difference, certainly not 5 inches!
Probably has big heels on
@@SixxQueen91 In their solo songs on this show, both appear to be in "normal" heels, maybe 2 inches. Hard to tell because there are few full length camera shots.
Two men wrote it
Why bother when you can listen to that unsurpassable record?
No thanks
Classic line up,wow Brenda Lee stepped up! With that growley voice during the reprise^^***!
Definitely Perfect👌 For Your "'Walkman'" While Jogging Or Running.
Wow!
