I have been looking for this video for my whole life and found it. No matter how long it was from the last time i watched it. I remember each song in each order. I loved oldies my whole life. Last time i probably watched it i was like 5 or 6. Im 14 and its a way harder time for me. This didn't make my day. This made my year or even more...
My son is 8 and he loves this music and sings along to most of these, every generation has had problems but for me music now just isn`t as infectious as back then.
There are no age barriers on music. Listen to what inspires you, what makes you happy. Life is too short too go with what everyone else is going with. I'm 16, whoopdi doo. I listen to every kind of music out there. There will always be a special place in my heart for oldies.
I literally watched this every morning when it came on @ like 2-3am. I was in like 8th grade to early High-school years,, something like that. I’m 23 now, it’s 2020
This video has been a godsend to me. My late brother used to listen to this music round his place and although I knew some of the classics I could never recall the one-hit-wonders that he liked. Been tryin to make a compilation CD for my family and this has given me a nice reminder of the excellent music he used to partake in. Can't thank you enough for making this video :)

Bro, this is the first youtube video that I loved every song on here, I grew up in the 50's & 60's. every one of these songs has a particular memory, Thanks sir....
I'm 18 years old and I attended a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons concert this New Years Eve, and I had the most fun I've ever had there. I got a lot of smiles being one of the youngest people there haha but I hope to be part of the generation that helps preserve the oldies. Growing up I've always loved oldies, my mom use to watch me dance when i was about 4 whenever i head Wonderful world by Louis Armstrong, and ever since childhood I've always loved it. I listen to my record player more than an Ipod haha. When frankie came on stage i had tears rolling down my face, i have such a connection with this era of music. I hope that this music will help influence todays music alittle bit more, because I'm honestly not a huge fan of what they call music these days.
I envy you for getting to see Frankie Vallie it would be such an amazing experience! I'm 17 I also love oldies ever since I found them I fell in love with them although I always liked old music, way better than the garbage now a days. You won't be the only one preserving the oldies. I'm getting my little brother who's 8 to be exposed to great music from the 50's and 60's
Miguel Rojas Yes!! definitely get your younger sibling into the oldies. growing up on the classics is the best. Todays music lacks a lot of the innocence and genuine feelings in the words. Its all too repetitive and repulsive in my opinion lol. But, for my 20th birthday last month, i got to see Chubby checker and we DID THE TWIST TOGETHER!!! always check and see if they're touring in your area. Frankie, chubby, Jerry Lee, some of them still sing! :)
+sweetXsweet2009 Yes today's music can't even be compared to those decades. Happy late birthday btw!! Oh wow that is nice you got to see the king of the twist. I'll sure be checking out if they tour by where I live
The problem with the 50s and early 60s was that there were millions of 45 rpm Lps all over the place. So there were so many artists that aren't even recognized. All of these artist on this video are considered highly mainstream for back in the day. Back then most people didn't have a clue who sang many of the songs, they just danced and listened to them.
I used to watch this video all the time. Since then I've been in love with oldies from the 50's and the early 60's. In a way I kind of owe it all to this video.
thanks to my mom and dad, I had the pleasure of growing up with these songs. not a lot of kids in my generation 90's and beyond had the opportunity to listen to this golden music. i love every single song here! thanks for uploading, now i'm being nostalgic about a time I was never in. lol.

You know if someone brought a song out like this today the kids of this generation wouldn't have a clue! They'd get called gay and nobody would like it. Tbh, I'd rather listen to these songs than rap!
