Amanda Amir it's easier for babies to use sing language. Their brains can process words and know what they mean but their mouth can't make the words noises, so if they learn signs language they can communicate better with their parents. Also Flynn's uncle Trent is deaf or hard of hearing i don't really know, so they teach him sign language so he can talk with his uncle

I was honestly the same, I had a lot of anxiety as a smol human, my mom told me I didn't actually start carrying conversations until I was about 4, give or take, just because I didn't like talking to people 😂

Probably because it's super normal and expected. I communicated with sign from 8 months until I started speaking at 14 months
It’s really normal & easy for babies to pick up sign language. But amazing nonetheless
Aryana Wagner babies are amazing. They can think words / understand them far earlier than they can clearly say them - it’s much easier to learn a sign than how to make sounds :) you have to learn how to make every single different sound, and how to combine them, before you can talk, but long before then he will have understood what he wants to say
Aryana Wagner it’s pretty common. Babies can usually sign before speaking so teaching them basic signs leads to earlier communication and therefor way less tantrums and such! We were given a book of basic signs in the packet we were sent home from the hospital with when our oldest was born in 2002.

Maladen65 We did that too for my baby cousin and he mostly didn’t even care what it was, he just wanted to hold something. He sometimes even held his own panths or something and it was so adorable

I have a 1 year old son who is not yet walking or even fully pulling himself up on things (he’s a bit delayed) watching this made me legit cry so beautiful how excited you guys were I can’t wait for that moment. Being a mom is so amazing. I’ve had a lot of the same challenges as you as my son was also extremely colic his first 4in a half months of life and it was exhausting I was always asking myself it I was doing something wrong. So beautiful to see that months later they are happy healthy little babes after all the tears. ♥️🥰

I have boy/girl twins and my girl is the more outgoing one and she started walking at 9 months and my boy is more reserved & cautious and he started walking at 11 months but he crawled before her (he was 6 months, she was 8 months). They go back and forth on hitting milestones.

I'm watching this because my son recently started walking, but I mostly watch your recent videos with the twins. Flynn is so adorable here! My son is very similar with his personality. He was super cautions with walking, and he likes watching other babies when we're out. He's just starting to interact a little more with other babies. I'm wonding what you did that helped Flynn feel more comfortable while he was out because he definitly seems less shy now. Love your videos!

My 7yr-old started watching Thomas when he was under a year old, was absolutely obsessed till he was about 4. It's tapered off, but he still loves trains today! 😁

Yo I’m also in ASL and I’m a sophomore! I’ve taken it two years now (freshman year and now) but unfortunately the school won’t allow my teacher (Ms. Mattice) to have a level 3 class :( they don’t respect her or her class, but she’s amazing and I enjoy her class so much

Same thing for when he is done with something he used to just freak out but now he knows to sign all done and I’ll come get him. I believe every parents should just because it’s so beneficial 💖

My cousin’s son was born with one ear smooshed inward so he can’t hear out of his right ear. He has a hearing aide and he is 1 and 1/2 so he is finally learning sign language and it is the sweetest thing. He will do the sign for okay and when he does it he will swing his arm rapidly. It’s his way of yelling at us 😂

I work in a daycare the we teach the kids baby signs, so glad to hear you are doing that because it helps them so much and not many parents or families know
