I'm a speech therapist assistant in training and I gotta say, Flynn saying /p/ for "ball" and /k/ for "kitty" is a good thing! It's normal also he is very smart for associating fish with water ☺️
In middle east we have like this fact that it's either the baby walks before teething, or teeth before walking. Which is regarding building the calcium structure of either to wherever it starts to go first (bones or teeth) so it's very okay and no one should be concerned. You colleen are so good at understanding variations of baby development which lots of new moms aren't

Oh my God please sleep train him for everyone's benefit! My 7 month old (who is watching this with me and going nuts every time Flynn comes on screen) DID NOT SLEEP! I finally sleep trained her when I wasn't functioning anymore and she now sleeps 12-13 hours straight every night and is much much happier! I highly recommend!
I'm sure he will be sleep-trained at some point
