- Well - a new kitchen and maybe a whole new life again?!?! I don't have a clue - so there is much more to come. I don't know what to say...

I feel so sorry for your son Jaime and his relationship with his Dad.They do say as long as a child has one parent who loves them and cares for them they will be OK.You can see how much you love your son.Take care

Sorry to see that your woes cotinue. It sounds a lot like you have given Jamie 's dad every opportunity to make amends for things but sadly the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. At least he isn't going to suffer in silence. And I'm sorry to hear about your mother. One of the small number of concerns I have about moving so far away is this kind of situation. You can't live your life worrying about things that haven't happened yet though... The Backstreet Boys singalong is just adding insult to injury... There is nowhere that just plays Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan I take it? :)
In real time Jamie is now here. I/we have so much to think about and work out. But he is now safe and happy. Sadly I knew deep down he was always going to have to learn - a leopard doesn’t change its spots etc. But I had so much hope that a lone for your own child would overcome anything. It does for me…. Soooooo. Lots going on and I don’t know anything right now. Thank you so much for always being supportive - I love your thoughtful & intelligent comments. Truely.

@@CAG-TVI can imagine it’s tricky. I’m not terribly well informed but I’ve not heard the greatest things about state provided education in Thailand. There are some excellent albeit rather pricey private options apparently.
i am sure a public school will accept any kids who reside there if you don't want to pay huge money for private school if there is one on island, otherwise GED test is the option to by pass it.
