My full respect to Kishore for being so frank and open about the spineless Gen Sec of the UN! 3 cheers for his bold and daring openness! UN is screwed and everybody knows that UN is getting more and more corrupted while being highly incompetent to solve most of the issues of the world!
this is true but the key takeaway is that powerful nations keep it weak and spineless, specifically the US. Russia and China are trying to give the UN teeth, well, until the UN stops acting like the surrogate of the US it is, currently
For a start, UN assembly can move out of US and possibly this will be a start to a neutral UN

Kishore Mahbubani is always on point. I just hope he can persuade ASEAN and RCEP countries to reject US interference/regime change tactics/fearmongering/provocation in Asia. Asian countries will be much better off resolving any outstanding territorial disputes amongst themselves without US meddling. The US would have Asia burn just to maintain their dominance.
