Hi, to answer your question: Any kind of garment that has a tight band under the breasts will rub against the ECG electrodes and create artifact that makes it difficult or impossible to interpret the results. Most people who exercise on the treadmill do not end up running- the pace stays slow enough to walk until 12 minutes for most people, though some people with shorter legs might need to do a light jog at 9 minutes. In general, people are on the treadmill for 6 - 10 minutes depending on their fitness level but it can be longer for those with greater cardiovascular fitness.
