      +Jeremy Yuen-Love thanks for your question, and glad to hear the lenses are working out well for you! We don't have definitive plans for manufacturing the Elite HC3 lenses for the Justin frames at this time. Sometimes this can be a tricky process! Sometimes it can be pretty difficult to remove the OEM lenses especially if they are made of glass. You can always try visiting a local eyewear shop. They should be able to help remove your lenses. Hope that helps and feel free to reach out to support@revantoptics.com if you have any other questions.

      I got them out, and new ones in. They were not glass. But, damn, it wasn't easy. I'm a 6' 220lb guy with pretty strong grip and it was a bitch. Maybe my technique was bad or frames were stronger than the ones you used. BTW the new lenses are really nice, the packaging was beautiful and they are very clear. As good or better than the RB lenses I replaced.

    I took out my glasses to wipe one day, and what happened was after wiping, I noticed something shiny on the cloth. I didn’t know what’s it was so I continued to wipe and I realized it was the coating on the lens that came off. What causes it?

    • @revantoptics
      @revantoptics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Great question! What kind of cleaner did you use for your lenses? Occasionally, harsher chemicals and even alcohol based cleaners can cause the breakdown of the coating on the material of the lenses. If you purchased replacement lenses from Revant, we'd be happy to take a look at them and see what we can do. Feel free to email us at support@revantoptics.com

      Hi there! Prescription lenses can be really tricky as they are much more rigid and do not have the flex and bend that can be helpful for getting the lenses into your frames. We definitely recommend taking them to an optical who can lightly heat the frames to install any prescription lenses.

    • @revantoptics
      @revantoptics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ray-Ban can sometimes glue in place their lenses or, in some cases, they put glass lenses in their frames that can be a bit difficult to get out. We recommend taking them to an optical who can lightly heat the frames to install or remove lenses when this difficulty occurs.

      Thank you for your valuable insight. Most of our customers find that this video is very helpful and an authentic representation of the lens changing process. These have been one of our most popular lenses for years and we have very low return rates for fit and few reports of difficult installations.
      We’re sorry that wasn’t the experience you had. It looks like we offered alternative solutions to getting your lenses installed, such as bringing them to an eyewear shop, worked with you on a refund, and elevated your evaluation to the appropriate team at our company.
      Though your experience was different than most of our customers, we’re glad we could wrap this up with a refund, even if this wasn't your first choice. We appreciate you for working with us and providing this insight and, like Tyler said, if this turns into a trend, we'll definitely take action.

      Hi there! Rayban lenses can be super difficult to remove especially if your frames have glass lenses in them. Occasionally Rayban will even glue their lenses in place. It may be best to visit an optical in your area who can warm the frames slightly to pop those lenses out.

      Hi there Darryl! Some of the RayBan frames come with plastic lenses and a few come with glass lenses by RayBan during your frame's manufacturing. The glass lenses can be a bit difficult to remove. We do have an Expert Install Service that can help with that. We send you a shipping label to send in your frames and we safely remove your old lenses and get the new ones in place. Once the work is all done, we'll send everything back to you right away. Alternatively, we recommend going to your local optical and having them assist you in removing them safely if sending in your eyewear is not a good option for you. Have a great summer!
