Of all your suspension upgrades what has helped the most? changing the oil, the springs or the preload? i ride offroad a lot ... but not fast like a motocross rider :) but if i hit a series or run of potholes eg 3 or 4 in a row... i nearly get bucked off... I don't know if it is the suspension is too slow, too soft or too hard... but i would like it to be better offroad.. Any advice welcome
Hello Ben! Thank you for starting this build series. I'm learning a lot about the himalayan and how to take care of it. I have a question regarding the new RE Scram411 and I'd like to have your thoughts on the ECU map of it in particular. As you may know the RE has changed the map for the Scram411 for better on-road performance, so can I swap the ECU of the Himalayan411 with the Scram411 ECU, if I were to use my Himalayan as a commuter only? Please share your thoughts on this.
subscribed to your great content. Thanks for the link and vid. BTW would like to know how many miles are you guys getting out of these engines in India? Long term daily transportation miles before any internal engine rebuilding.
Glad to know that you found the content useful. Bikes in India do 50-70000 kms easily without any engine components . The clutch alone may be an exception
Hello bend Its been 10k kms to my himalayan and I use my motorcycle mostly daily and I live in a dusty and pothole conditions (Mumbai) so would you please suggest me when shall I change the fork oil on my new vehicle! Thanks in advance
You have knobby tyres & a windshield extender?... Wait... What...?. That's like wearing a swimming trunk to a bachelor's party. LOL. I'm sure your ass burns when we fly past your Royal Cringefield Himalayan with our GSA's. Our Akrapovič's costs as much as your bike. Just sayin.. Don't be mad bro.
@@kokoaphool Not at all, kind sir. I acknowledge the knowledge he has over his motorcycle, and the interest he shows to rectify it. I just have a habit of callin BS as I see it. No offense ✌️
