As a distracted student in elementary school, my teacher used to complain that I was “As slow as molasses in January.” Do you have to heat the molasses, or is it diluted with water so that it will flow at low temperatures?

Hey nice setup! Ever think about adding a recirculating line after the pump, that way you can keep that stuff in suspension better, and cut down on the amount of sludge on the bottom? Just have a valve after the pump that can divert in back to the tank. Just a thought!

When we brought our dairy cows in from the pasture for the winter, my dad always added molasses to their food in order to prevent scours.
