you should say something about Game Market download limit, idk how many it is (100-200?) because i got used Pandora, and waste mine just for tryin games, and now just have msg "balance not enough" :-/ maybe you will know how many exacly games we can download from that Game Market? and good to say it in next reviews ; )

This is the best review for this I’ve seen! I really appreciated the fact that you got the authentic product, and you clearly laid out the criticisms so that we could weigh the pros and cons, relative to our personal preferences. This actually convinced me to order one (with the sanwa buttons & joysticks upgrade) because the cons were not dealbreakers for me! I found that a lot of the other reviews were people being douchey hobbyists who rate everything a zero if it’s not up to standards they’ve built up over time, but this review was pragmatic, clear, truthful & fair. Thank you!!!
I just got my hands on this Pandora box 18s and I was very pleased that the games that were unplayable and laggy in the 11s version were fixed. The games that I found the problems were: Mortal Kombat, Turtles in time, Twin Cobra 2, Darius Gaiden, Elevator Action Returns and Vapor Trail. All those games were fixed including X-men arcade.
Looks great !! Whenever we get back to normal im buying this for my collection.

Hold the configuration button is what I mean. Hold it 2-3 second and power it on while holding it. Mine cycles between 16:9 and 4:3. Sure this one will also.
I already knew about the so-so quality joystick before buying the Pandora 18s but I am surprised by how it does not suck as I expected. It was great for my favourite old games like Marvel Superheroes and Street Fighter 3 series. Overall a satisfied customer. Of course later upgrade maybe Streetfighter 5 on the PC with high quality joysticks. But that's later...
I have this and its def one of the better versions out there.

I'm curious about input lag and also how buttons register when using two players, USB 2.0 only registers 4 button presses at the same time, diagnals are two presses, two buttons at the same time has maxed it out, when using two players on the xarcade tank stick it would stop registering intermittent presses by maxing out the usb.
can you have two players at the same time going crazy and it keep up with button presses?
I like how the placeholder art in the marketplace is the Xbox emblem.
That N64 Mario Kart looked really good on this...

People continue in trying to emulate everything on one single device and want no glitches. The first pandoras released were good because of each game inside had been selected in order to run with no lag or issue. This is the reason why I like them more than these retropie images with 5000 games, where only a few run properly. 👍🏻
Thank you! I'd much rather have a few hundred games that run perfectly, with the extra time put in for better menus, button mapping etc., rather than just dumping a crap load of games that will run all janky.

Just hold the configuration before you power the unit on, and it will cycle the available resolutions and aspect ratios.
Can you expand on that? I've tried this and it didn't work. The aspect ratio issue is the only minor issue I have with this

Look up the Legends Gamer by At Games. Coming out soon. You can add your own games through usb, stream Steam and an online store to purchase games. Cheaper and better quality. Same quality as the Legends Ultimate which I own.

Very cool device. When you tire of it get in touch with me, I’ll buy it from ya! Btw, I noticed some pretty bad sound delay on the N64 and Dreamcast. Is it like that pretty much with every system or does it vary?
most of the units have issues with sound on both platforms depends on the games of course seems in game sound is usually an 8+ but the lead in sounds are really spotty....

Got an old Pandora's Box 5s a few years ago. MAME emulation is excellent. Only had a handful of problems with a select few games. But the menu navigation made it a totally joyless experience! I could spend 10 minutes scrolling through page after page, and end up playing nothing. Retropie is a far better route for a nicer tailored experience...
