Do you have joystick lag whenever i turn with a fighter in a fighting game it doesn't do it kinda like a lag it doesn't respond with the joystick correctly?
I've been following these Pandora boxes for a couple of years now to stop the ball top from spinning is to open the console up with the 3 screws at the front the lid should be able to put up. Then get a flat blade screw driver in the bottom of the joystick hold it there and twist the ball done 👍

Is it possible to get Pandora box on your pc? As in, an all in one app. (I only have mame32 at the moment).
Tip!! Go to setting then enter game settings. You should be able to create a games favorite list.
Great vid , just bought a bartop arcade with same setup , how do you shutdown from menu ? Couldn't find a shut down screen , just had to switch off from back

Hi Caleb. It's possible they've changed things since I purchased last year. They seem to be pretty responsive from what I've seen. The standard game list on the system they sell doesn't list any of these more modern games shown in this review like Tekken 5 etc
Question, is there a way to connect another joystick or gamepad to the unit for someone sitting further away?
Sure is - I use X-box style remotes which plug into a usb hub at the back of the machine (also work on PC's). You just change settings on Pandora for player 1/2 etc. Also this means you can play with up to 4 players at once which is pretty cool. Links below:

What site do you get the consoles from? I cannot see a dedicated Pandora site. Thought there may be an updated one. Any assistance would be great.

The only way to make it better is if you could stop the coin deposit in the arcade games so you could watch the opening animations.
so there is no demo on the games due to it automaticly inserts coin?
that there is a big no no and well enough reason. to stay away from this unit, if that is the case !!!
Am I understanding the games are not pre-installed I can't seem to find a tutorial on how to get the games and then how to get them in the Pandora's Box
Hi Yup. The games are pre-installed on the one I bought (over 5000). However, it is possible to add more games to the micro SD card in the console. You're right, there are not a lot of video tutorials on this but I am planning on making one soon.
Can you hook a keyboard up to it to help with searching?
Just checked this out. So I connected my Logitech wireless keyboard but I couldn't type the letters in, I could only navigate using the arrow keys and enter for each letter, so no real advantage over using controller. Cheers

Hi, did you have any lag or glitch, playing 3D games, like PSP and N64 kind of games?
I must admit the only glitchy game I've come across so far is Gran Tourismo (PS1 I think) - that's not really playable. But out of the hundreds I've played that's the only one I've come across with an issue.
Hello, i would like to ask how can i play tehkan world cup with 2 players because the movement of the second player are from the other side of the screen, i mean when I want to go down as i see the screen i must have the joystick up, the same and left, right!!!! What can I do for that? Are there any settings? This soccer game is vertical on the screen nit horizontal like other games!! Thanks you!!!

Can you download more roms on this, The Dreamcast Emulator on your device has got only few games?
Yes there's a WiFi marketplace to download games for free.
Pop out the buttons for full removal of the clear film around the buttons.

Looks nice. How well does it run Mortal Kombat arcade. I judge these by how well they can run that game

How can you program a USB N64 controller for this. There is nothing any where in how to do this for this system

My bro & I want one to play all our fave 80s & 90s games. Especially Marvel games. We wanna hook this up to our big screen. Is it reliable? Any other versions we should look at? Can you get seperate controllers for it?

1. I hook mine up to a big TV screen all the time with an HDMI cable - works well.
2. Yes it's reliable. Occasionally if I haven't hooked the power up properly it will cut out but this is user error, not a problem with the console.
3. There are loads of other products out there and companies are bringing new ones out all the time, but this is the only one I've bought and as I'm happy haven't felt the need to look at others.
4. Yep you can hook up extra controllers via a USB extender. I bought these products from Amazon, links below:

@@tomdmann I made that confusing. What I'm trying to do is select 2 player game where we can either play together on some games where that allow that like Contra or take turns on others like Pacman. With Donkey Kong we were able to select two players but had to use only the left joystick which is a bummer because we're sitting side by side with a joystick each but only the left side is operational for both players. The user guide doesn't have much information and we're kinda old and technologically challenged lol It took awhile for us to even find two player select. I believe that was on the right side of the control board on the start button if I remember right.

@@ponzo1967 Donkey Kong is an arcade ROM. ROM stands for Read Only Memory; meaning the ROM cannot be modified. There are built in options such as Pay To Play or Free Play, but there is no option for player two to use a second set of controls. There's no option because there was only one set of controls for Donkey Kong and each player would take turns using the one set. IDK how the Pandora Box software works. I noticed in Emulation Station on my Pi, I could use keyboard, game pad, and an arcade joystick at the same time as player one. If you add a game pad to your Pandora Box, it may keep both the game pad and player one arcade controls "hot" so one of you two can play on player one arcade controls and the other can sit back and play with the game pad when it's player 2's turn.

Mine just stopped working. It boots up but shows 000 games . It had 8000 before. When I try to go to the game store it says no game disk inserted. I tried to take the Sd card out and put it back in and reboot, but that didn’t fix it either
Man that's not good. Is it still not working? Have you gone back to the company for help/support?
Yes got it Resolved. even though it wasnt the original SD card, it was a sandisk, it still failed. but i was able to copy everyhting to new card and that fixed it!
Saw this video the other day. Bought one that had 27000 games. Same ‘pandora plus’ menu as the linked purchase.
Problem - you do your video with 11 emulators and a root menu that has all of these different emulators. The one I had just had a list of 27000 games and all appear to be arcade quality from the 1980s and early 90s. Doesn’t seem to have all of the emulators and different games for them.

Hi America Walk. Thanks for watching. You can add your own games on the SD card but I'll be honest I don't know if it works the same with emulators.
Great review. Just subscribed. I also have the Pandora 3D plus. I'm trying to figure out if anybody knows how to fix or adjust the hdmi port. My son knocked it off the bed while the hdmi was connected. Now it just falls out of it and i have to wrap the cable around the console in different directions and then barely touch it for it to work. Maybe this is an easy fix but idk and i would love the help. I got this as a gift and was only able to play it for a day.

That was just my screen recording software having a buffery moment. The opening on the console doesn't stutter. 😊

Mine came yesterday - so far its great. there are no Mario games on it which is odd (maybe cos im in UK) - also certain games (like Ivan's Ironman racing) won't play mutiplayer as it doesn't detect the 2nd player. i'm hoping i can just download another version. Also Joe - if you are going to do another review can you find out which external controllers work the best and let us know

Truthfully, how would most of these older games look on a 75” TV? I just saw a ad for the 3D Saga and decided to look it up. I see it’s like $300 and with 10k games on it and it seems to be well worth the price but I’m not confident on how good it will be on such a big TV. This a was a great video and would love to hear your input on using this on a big TV. Thanks
I've played it a lot on my 49 inch TV and really enjoyed it. 75inch is a big step up from that but I think you'd also find it acceptable. You might have to adjust the aspect ratio on your tv to 4:3 from 16:9 buy yeah I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.
I would have liked to see Mario Cart or the Tekken 6 to see how they run but looks like a cool system
I've played SNES Mario Kart a lot and it's a lot of fun!

I haven't heard of Way Back Arcades so it would be unfair of me to comment. A lot of people swear by Ali Express but I would thoroughly recommend Home Retro Arcade (previously Todayz Trendz) based on my buying experience.

I messaged them on there page got no response so I emailed them no response a week later I commented on there page stating they didn’t respond to me, and they blocked me, so they lost me as a customer unfortunately ended up buying a similar unit else where

Can definitely add more games, gonna do a video on that soon, but basically there's an SD card you can remove, clone, add to etc. Don't know about the light gun but this is also something I want to test out soon.

They are all basically the same. And now clones have become much better, if not as good or better than you have nowdays.
The super king console x has much more games, options and more powerful. All these panrora boxes arw all under powered with little to mo advancements. Knock off or genuine these days makes little difference as all perform the same

I literally say in the video that I am recreating the unboxing. I didn't do it when I first bought the console (at that point I had no TH-cam channel).
