There are others much worse than Riker’s but Bannon is a short timer so he’s not likely to end up in one of them. He also hasn’t been convicted of the types of crimes that would get him put in those places. Although he’s a soulless ghoul and deserves every minute in a hellhole like a Supermax for all of the hate and vitriol he’s tried to unleash on our country, sadly he hasn’t been found guilty of enough crimes to warrant punishment that severe.

I was a public defender earlier in my legal career. I can't imagine any of my former indigent clients (1) being allowed by any judge to stay at liberty after a felony conviction awaiting reporting to prison, and (2) make threatening statements after sentencing without being brought up on charges of contempt or a violation of Good Behavior. None of my low-income, indigent defense clients were ever treated with this level of deference and accommodation. As an attorney, it's clear to me that "some of us are more equal than others" to paraphrase George Orwell's great novel "Animal Farm".
How many of your clients could have violated a gag order 10 times and still be running around shooting off their mouth?
