I am just obsessed with Bella Baxter as a character. I didn’t even realize that the movie was more than two hours long because I was just so enamored by Bella. This film is so bizarre, beautiful and funny and I wish I could see it on the big screen again.
Cant wait to watch this again and again and again
I’ve watched it twice in the cinemas 🙈 just love the film so much
Can't wait for the DVD 👍
Went on the first day to the Cinema, loved it ,its brilliant.
Me too!!
Crazy good!!!
I've seen it 3 times 😊
Mark Ruffalo is a gift to this film. Needless to say Emma killed it.
Literally each and every actor was exceptional. I especially loved Max and the General
Delighted, yes?
I can’t stop telling people to go see this. A trip to the movies doesn’t get better than this. A shining singing celebration of cinema. Yorgos is really gunning for PTA right now. Neck and neck at the very top for me those two. What a delight to be alive for a very special time in cinema history.
You said the same thing about Barbie
What about all the porn? 😂
Boring and complete nonsense. This boring thing had me fighting to stay awake.
@@Geidi174LOL 😂👍🏼💥
@sharonjones5173 i feel bad that people can't enjoy art. I feel even worse that they think others want to hear their negative opinions.
If you can't say something nice, it's best to not say anything at all.
best movie of 2023 for me. it deserves all of the awards. a masterpiece in my book!
I want to live inside those sets, they're so lush and weird and creatively textured - Willem put it perfectly when he said refined with a sense of humour
This film changed my life im currently reading the book and enjoying how free, fearless and sexually bold bella is. All the resilience of infancy, effusively in the present, never been taught to dislike her body or suppress her desires, never disguised, never learned cowardice and only uses her words to express how she truly thinks and feels - im continually inspired by her
I’m so grateful I was able to watch this in theatre’s with absolutely no idea of what I was in store for. Reminded me of what film should feel like! Give them all their earned flowers ❤
The odd and distorted perspectives used in the cinematography was a genius move
The cinema was created for films like this, you have to see the film in the cinema and not at home as a stream. The backdrops are fantastic, such beautiful images deserve to be seen in the cinema.
I’ve never seen a film with everything. This has everything. All the emotions.
Every single emotion hahah. My brother and i just watched this last weekend and were blown away. Such a masterpiece
Clockwork Orange?
Brilliant movie. Emma had to win the Oscar !! Well deserved.
Emma is the best actress of the season
Ive seeen this movie 5 times at the cinemas and honestly can say its truly a masterpiece and will go down as something beyond a standard film in cinema ..cant wait to watch this a trillion times at home
Man, I've seen it once and want to see it again. But the first time I saw it I just collapsed at the end. I'm kinda afraid now. But something draws me to it. I feel like there are things to be learned, a world to circumnavigate
@@CalinFR hahaa your last Bella statement made me spit out my drink haha
I feel bad for the couple at my screening that left 10 minutes into the movie. They missed one of the most truly original and hilarious movies of the last 20 years.
Because of all the porn 😂
I felt like leaving the theatre too after about 20 mins but I have been warned that'll happen so I stuck to it and boy I didn't regret it
They left because it’s glorified porn. Most non-degenerates and moral people would rightfully get up and leave.
“She tried to touch my hairy business.” 😂
glad to see this film was shot on real glorious celluloid film, especially B&W film and ektachrome!
Watched it and was like hmmm idk it’s really weird. Watched it again and fell in love with it!! Definitely a must see movie!!!
I’m obsessed with this movie. Brilliant in every way.
amazing cast, story, cinematography, costume and makeup , set design and don’t forget about the eccentric score
"YOU'VE HAD MONEY THIS WHOLE FUCKING TIME!?"
CUUUUUUUUUUNNNNN--
This movie blew me away… Might one off my favorite movies of all time
The first movie to pull me to a movie theater in years.
I hope they keep these props in a park or museum where you can visit! What a waste if they did not. Haven't seen the film yet but will go buy it to see it over and over again.
That palette! Mustard and Ashes of Roses, with ice blue....just lovely.
Shout out to Hanna Shygulla....loved her cameo on the ship as a bemused, frowsy aristocrat, she's a legend. ( I encourage you young film fans out there to check out her superlative work with Fassbinder and others, esp. Marriage of Maria Braun, The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant and Beware of a Holy Whore.
Thank you, old film fan
Absolutely stunning piece of work. The talent in every aspect just shines.
Mind bending masterpiece. Cinema at it's finest
I understand Bella so well,
she is adorable ❤
Seen this twice ! No doubt a masterpiece.
This is simply beautiful. Well earned Emma. ❤
Wow, I didn't realise her room in her home was so colorful and pretty. It is an amazing film, very provoking and uncomfortable but in the same time, amazing.
I can watch this over and over I saw it in theaters recently I’m obsessed the best film of the year
Amazing film
Just watched this and it was so bonkers and delightful. I lol'd so many times.
I'm gonna force every single one of my friends to watch this tomorrow
Brilliant film beyond any words, Emma and Mark were so amazing with William, just Brilliant 🎥 🎞 Director & Production Design 🏆 Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🌹 Emma 🏆 ❤
Masterpiece, well done to director Yiorgos Lanthymos 🎉 this is unigue by far, amazing work
Yorgos and Emma. Name a more iconic duo
Emma and Oscar! 😄
I NEED to buy this movie on Apple TV already!
Poor things is masterpiece ❤
No wonder she won an Oscar for the second time, Emma Stone is marvellous
Just saw it for the 4th time the other day, such a good film!
A Masterpiece. One of a kind
I'm completely in love with this movie. Brilliant.
❤
Max compliments everyone but was absolutely exceptional himself
I Really Enjoyed Watching Poor Things The Film From The Caribbean 🇻🇨
Brilliant film.
Ramy does an EXCELLENT job at speaking in a British accent 👌🏼
I found the accent a bit distracting/unconvincing in some of the characters, but his was really the most natural
Alasdair Gray was a genius- sorely missed ❤
This movie looks good. I love the cinematography so far ❤
Master pieces
❤from Thailand 🇹🇭
Virtual tour through the set? Does anyone know if the sets can be visited virtually? The have scanned the sets in 3D. Did they publish the scans? (see what i mean at 12:55)
A masterpiece!
Incredible film.
I can't wait to see this !!!❤
despite all the harsh criticisms I actually ENJOYED this movie a lot
what harsh citrics? every one is raving about it, as they should. this movie is one of the best movies of the year.
A masterpiece
Even this making film is well organized like actual one does. what a masterful movie👍
best acting of emma
Beautiful cinema
11:29 this scene keeps replaying on my mind lmao
Commenting on every video I watch on TH-cam
20:55 aaaand i'm crying. this track will always make me sob. without fail
You might like Sigor Ros
This is why i despise most of the big movie discussion youtubers - all theyll do is complain about the movie industry while completely disregarding a movie like this
WOW would love to know Emma Stone favourite costumes. Have not seen this movie, it’s the one that got away.💚👏
Great trailer. Please stream. 🙏🏽
I love this movie😂❤🎉
I have been doing that. This amazing film hits an all senses. Get Hulu. Thats all I can say
I keep thinking NOLAN could've made this film; because he makes BOLD films too!
I have not seen anything better in a whiiile
I have a feeling that Yorgos is a fan of Stanley Kubrick.
Lean el libro es alucinante
Filmed in Orban's Hungary, not a choice that I would make.
Love Mark ruffalo
This looks like good Barbie (which was kinda boring and not funny) from a male director and female producer/lead? Fascinating.
This movie is a much more feminine movie than Barbie. This movie is brilliant. The evolution of what it meant to be a woman.
Don't understand the hype of the latter.
They left 100% of the sex out of this quite comprehensive summation. The film is fantastic. But this deference to current morals is a great loss to all of us.
None of the trailers indicate how much this movie is about sex
A different kind of movie, to say the least…..
It Is the same, if You Convert in GOD, you are a New Boren ❤🎉😊....
CAMPAIGN SEARCHLIGHT FOR EMMA STONE SAG WINNER AND OSCAR
Now showing in HELL: Poor Things on a loop 24 hours a day. Enjoy.
Utterly Unforgettable Unionized Utilization #WhattaStardomColabortion
And they still havent addressed the backlash about this movie being about what is essentially a childs in the body of a woman having intercourse. Its not as if they wont have noticed, just check the imdb ratings which all focus on this very issue.
What I am "Attempting to do with myself and life!!"
Society is not helping!! LOL
333omg wow
ce film je m’en remets pas la claque
Confused by the eyebrows...
This honestly seems like a film about trying to date a French girl!
Trust me... I didn't move here for the food!!! 🤫
STD land
Barbie, but with nudity and much better set pieces.
"What was I Made For?".
But it's not a totally original inversion of the Frankenstein trope, is it, because all of the Frankenstein's brides are conventionally beautiful as is Bella. It would seem that even if a woman can be imagined as free of all the social conventions, she still needs to be sexy for hetero men as well as have lots of sex with hetero men. Hell, there's even a lesbian scene in it. I wish there was a woman in the team of director, screenwriter and producers (other than Emma Stone). The fact alone that the body of an adult woman would not menstruate or be hairy is ridiculous for a female viewer.
I like d the movie, but the music is too annoying to me.
there are too many sexual scenes in this movie. seems like the only thing that made Bella herself is sex, but it's not
Beautifully done film to watch, but ultimately silly.
Mark Ruffalo is always insulting.
...........Yikes.
🤮
Mark Ruffalo's accent in Poor Things is terrible. Almost Dick Van Dyke Mary Poppins bad.
At least he stayed in it most of the film.
The miracle club is a horrible movie from Columbia searchlight pictures.
I personally don’t get it. It was beautiful to look at. The costumes were great. I laughed at parts. But I don’t see why people are so enthralled with Bella as a character. She’s just another manic pixie dream girl in a way. Like good for her, she does what she wants. Like I want to like it but I just can’t see what others are seeing I guess. It’s frustrating me honestly.
Watch again 😂
Another weird movie that makes no sense. Along with last year’s “best picture” no plot just nonsense which everybody thinks is wonderful because no one wants to be the one to say how ridiculous it is. You’ll be fighting to stay awake 15 minutes into this.
That's true also it being a woke and edgy "masterpiece" 🙄 it will attract the woke and edgy "individual" 🤭group thinker type gang too...
Everything Everywhere really didn't have a story but it was entertaining to me, but this one did.
It is a stupid and boring movie. Please don’t make any more of this trash.
I love how much of the film was practical when it came to the costumes, props and especially the sets.
