- New upgrades for the Surron Ultra Bee. Spent some time today installing a new skid plate and frame/battery guard from Puget Sound Motorsports. Stock skid plate is not going to be adequate for enduro type riding. Install was pretty easy but did take some creativity to get all the mounting bolts lined up and in place. The frame/guards are simply a bling item, but could offer better protection compared to the stock plastic pieces.

That SXS plate does afford some protection to the lower portion of the controller for $135. Looks like it totally covers that bottom motor hole as well.
You are correct. The SXS skid plate has better coverage.

Nope. I’ve come to accept the chain noise. I think a better quality chain might help. I’m running a cheap NICHE chain from Amazon.
