Earlier in Chris’ career, he belonged to a bluegrass band called the Steeldrivers. It’s worth checking out. One of the songs, “Can You Run?”, is from the point of a slave during the Civil War. Definitely worth checking out.. don’t let the term bluegrass turn you away, he still has that soul. Great reactions, just recently subbed. 👍
Love this song!! Chris is the man!!! Listen to him sing "it's a man's world"!!! He was at a show and another band seen him and called him on stage and he covered the song!! Great performance!!
I saw Chris live at the Bonnaroo music and arts festival in Manchester Tennessee. I was in the pit which is like the first 10 rows and I definitely had tears rolling down my face at certain points of the show. He’s definitely a one of a kind artist like H Mack.
Check out Chris and Justin Timberlake Tennessee and Drink me away Chris Stapleton singing IT'S a man world also check out Chris Stapleton Higher and Chris Stapleton singing with H.E.R
He’s good I agree! But man I’ve seen and heard the best up close and personal… the Mississippi Delta, man …. It’s an experience in itself! You felt EVERY WORD they sang!! ❤ Tennessee
Please react to the performance with Chris and Justin Timberlake at the CMA show performing "Tennessee Whiskey" and "Drink You Away" together along with Chris wife Morgane! It is EPIC!!!!!
Great reaction! Yes you have to do Stevie Ray Vaughan if you love guitar! Life Without You at The Capital Theater. Crossfire from Austin City Limits, Flooding Down in Texas at The El Mocambo! I saw him live 3 times, he was perfection!❤
@TeddyRuppleberry great reaction fren! Chris is amazing LIVE! So much better than studio versions. I’ve seen Chris live 2 times. Best concerts ever!! You definitely need to go to one!!! Please react to his live performance on the Stephen Colbert late show (I think) is “Devil Always Made Me Think Twice”. It’s incredible!!! His wife Morgane sings harmonies w/him as she does in most of his songs! You won’t regret reacting to it!!!!! Thanks fren!
Great reaction! Not sure if you've ever reacted to, or listened to Stevie Ray Vaughn, but if you haven't PLEASE check out his live performance of Texas Flood, and have your son watch it. He's one of the greatest to ever pick up a guitar. BB King said, "I play the blues in sentences, Stevie Ray Vaughan plays it in paragraphs"
Chris was already pretty famous inside the industry before he took to the stage, probably close to half of the country hits from the late 80's to 2010's had his name on the writers credits.
Two especially good lives from Chris.'Sometimes I cry' at the Bing lounge. And 'Either way' at Charlie Rose.

This guy is pretty good. Maybe he could make it in the music industry. Can he mumble rap? 😂

@sokyoutdoors588 But can he mumble rap?
