One of my favorite all time folk ballads - thanks so much for working on it daniel, I've donated and look forward to receiving the tab / Paul Brady / open G
This is wonderful. I love this song, and really want to learn to play it. I have sent you a donation via paypal. I look forward to receiving the tab for open G. And I look forward to learning this one. Thanks for the lesson and the tab!
This is amazing! Jeeese I wish I could play as good as you do. I do the song with standard tuning with a simple hamar-on and slide on the d string from a standard g position. Sort of works ... sort of
Awesome. Thanks. I've been watching your 7 yr old video but don't spend enough time on this. My favorite xmas song ever. I try to work on it almost every winter going on 6 years now. This will help. Maybe I'll finally get it this year
Thanks so much for this! I adore this song, and I'm very grateful you made a follow up video! I was struggling with the verse :) I've been trying to find a good tutorial for Sixteen Tons by Tennessee Ernnie Ford. Any chance you'd give it a go? Thanks again.
Thanks for another great tutorial! Just so you know it seems a couple of the links in the description seem to be broken - the Lakes of Ponchartrain one and your personal website (a typo by the looks of it?)
Thank you for all of your Paul Brady content, especially this one! I imagine you can delete your LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE BANNERS and the more hands will rise.
My pleasure, thanks for the feedback, what do you mean delete them? Take them off and more folks will subscribe, cos they’re obtrusive? You’re probably right if so, I’ll do that with the next videos
Good vid .....but where are the left hand chord positions..........I subscribed and liked but there was a POWER OUT HERE WHERE I LIVE AND I LOST THE DETAILED AND LONG WINDED CONTOVERSIAL REMARKE I MADE..............BUT YOU NEED TO SHOW THE CHORD SHAPES OR THE REST OF YOUR VID IS USELESS.....THANKS AGAIN ....KARL HOY
If you purchase fir 10 dollars you get all the chord shapes plus Tab it is well worth it and Daniel can continue doing great work on his breakdown of songs 👍👍
