Why doesn’t he compete much for your school? Is it because he’s more focused on a future professional career? I saw he didn’t even run the open 100 for state, though he was signed up for the 4x1.
Rooting hard for both Christian Miller & Quincy Wilson to make their respective 100/400m Finals @US Trials! There was also Gunner Hammett who ran a 2.00.69 U12 800m WR at that meet! Tbf to Omanyala, that converted 9.90 (0.0) is an improvement on his 9.98 (1.2) sea level SB, but yeah still needs to run 9.8 or quicker after rounds in a Global Champs! Wanyonyi's 1.41.70 & Kipyegon's easy looking 3.53.98 at altitude were relatively more impressive than Omanyala's 9.79 (1.5). Mary Moraa pacing 18yr old sister Sarah to 3rd place in the 800m was nice to watch :)
@@JumpmanTF Yeah big sis Mary was trying to pace little sis Sarah to the 1.59.30 Olympic Standard which she narrowly missed by running 1.59.39, so has got till Jun 30 to run it before she can be named to the Team.
This is an interesting comparison, because in swimming, this happens all the time. 17 and 18 year olds are often times making it to the Olympics in various events, and then occasionally you get the 15 year old hopeful sneaking in there too. At US trials right now, theres a 14 year old in the finals of the 400 IM. Guess we'll see how that goes!
Ive seen it with gymnastics too especially. Ive always thought track was too physical for teens to compete but here we are haha. Tebogo, knighton, asinga now miller.
While on the topic of high schoolers you shouldve mentioned crater's dmr national record set this past sunday at nbno, they demolished the 21 year old record by 5 seconds
There's been a lot of Olympians who were technically cops or soldiers but usually it's in name only, let's not act like Omanyala is patrolling the streets 😂
Even though Quincy is hella fast and yes he's a HS kid, he's definetely not gonna be in the team when there are 14 people who are faster than him. His season began early so I highly doubt he's gonna pull out another banger compared to the fresh pros but who knows
He does seem a little tired but I still think there’s a slight possibility he could make the relay pool based on the times for the top 6 in the previous years
I think the focus was on high Schoolers who could possibly make Olympic teams, and distance runners take longer to develop. But she's definitely having a great year
Quincy Wilson has a really odd looking running style. He runs like he's always exhausted and is looking up at the sky the entire time, body slightly leaned back as well, rather than straight, like his legs are trying to get away from his body.
Considering many many high-school-aged athletes have been competing at internatuonal levels since nearly a centrist, you clearly no little about athletics.
I go to C. miller's school. What's sad is the lack of recognition a world-class highschool sprinter gets compared to, say, a football player
Could you imagine him on the football field? He'd run right by everyone.
@@jamezkpal2361can he catch? Can he avoid tackles?
@@jamezkpal2361 its not all speed in football but with his work ethic he could probably be pretty good

bros the fastest cop in the world
you aint running away from him lol
Wait till you steal the doughnuts from the guys on duty lol
Not gonna lie. I always wait for your uploads. You are going to blow up even more by the end of the Olympics.
We'll see what happens with olympics copyright crackdown.
might be hard with ai recognition but with mirrored vids and (if it's possible) ai distortion of the backgrounds for recognition purposes who knows

hell yeah, another Jumpman banger
Imagine trying to run from the cops in kenya and omanyala is the cop chasing you
I was at the Addidas Track nationals meet a few days ago, and I can’t even begin to explain how fast some of these kids were
Makes my country look pathetic. Nations best cleaned by high schoolers.
Evolution 🧬 theres a 14 year old in the UK who ran a 10.64 100m.. and a windy 10.4..
These children are children in a grown mans body...
There was a freshman in Arizona who ran 10.4 at 14/15. Quaron Adams

dang, i can’t believe them high schoolers are that fast! i’m a freshman and just wanting to run sub 12 lol

Season started early but still getting faster. True he could fumble it, but very excited to see him pushed by pros.
None of them are gonna make team … they will all be out by the semi round
Idk what his chances look like now after this but, what do you think now after that 44.6 he ran
Love the channel. FYI: Quncy's time was 1, 100th behind the world record. Not one millisecond.
This puts into perspective as to why Jim Ryun is widely considered the greatest high school athlete ever.
what about sadie engelhardt ? she is a junior in high school whos run 4:29.86 in the 1600m
I think the focus was on high Schoolers who could possibly make Olympic teams, and distance runners take longer to develop. But she's definitely having a great year
I want to know if Katelyn Tuohy will go to the trials I would get exited to see her to compete!!
I don’t think making the Olympic trials are Sadie Englehardt’s focus right now though
Didn’t Danny Simmons qualify for the trials in the 5k??
No throwing mentioned 😔😭
🔥
Looks 25 to me how long has he been in hscool 🤷🏾♂️
Imagine being a criminal in Kenya running away and behind you is the fastest man hawking you down
You left out Lisa Raye, sophomore in HS from Rhode Island, who won the 100 and 200 at New Balance Nationals!!!!
They might be peaking early but who knows
jeff demps reference
I've read high shooters and was curious why are they do fast
Remember Billy Gaines?
You gotta talk about high school girls 100m and 200m
SHIT! I read "High Schoolers Were Never Supposed To Be This Fat".
😂😂😂😂
Issam Asinga wasn't supposed to be that fast either.
Theres a 12 year old running a 2 flat 800🤦
Gunnar right? Couldnt bloody beleive it haha
Curious how all three of Jamaicas female superstars have dropped off tremendously this year. All three? At the same time? Super sus.

Lets just see how many make it to an Olympic team.....Then make it through doping control.....Then lets talk about who is the fastest here and there.
None of the high schoolers are going to make the team 😂 they are going to get to Oregon and be out by the semi round 😂 watch
Should an elite sprinter have a day job? Smh
Quincy stands a chance to make the team but not miller
